Been coming here for years! I can honestly say I've had every dish on the menu.  If in Tucson, you must come here. Expect a wait. If you don't enjoy waiting, they offer take out.  Parking is a problem.

Some of my favorite menu items include:

Anything with Shredded Beef - Burro Enchilada Style, Tacos, Flautas, Chimichanga & Dinner Plate.

Chicken Flautas with small Tortilla Soup always hits the spot.

Their menudo is good too.

Love their rice & beans.  We even buy them in quarts to take home.  We can't get enough of their chips and salsa.

The place is small, but that's what makes it feel just like home.

We recently took some friends to celebrate their anniversary to Tavolino and enjoyed our visit.

We had reservations for 7:30 p.m. and we were seated right on time.  The place was semi-full on a Wednesday night.  The dining area is nice and the ambience was a little noisy.  Not to the point that we wouldn't come again, but important to mention.  Must be the acoustics of the place.

The staff was great. Very attentive and courteous.  Our waitress was well informed on all menu items and any questions we had about any dish.  Drinks and appetizers were brought out quickly.

Food was delicious.  We all had different plates and everyone was pleased with their meals. (Check out some of the pictures)

Tavolino is a great Italian restaurant with reasonable prices. As a side note, I did see that the restaurant handles larger parties with a reservation.  We saw a party of 16 having a great time.

I've been wanting to go to Mr. K's for a while now. FInally made the trip to South Tucson and tried their BBQ Beef Brisquet Sandwich & a side of fries.  It was delicious! I recommend and if you like BBQ you must try. By Far THE BEST IN TOWN! The beef was so juicy and tasty. I could have easily eaten two of these sandwiches. Next time I will try the dinner plate. The menu is pretty basic --Pork or Beef-- with a few traditional sides. Free refills on soft-drinks.

The locale is kind of hidden and is not easy on the eyes. Parking is limited. The food more than makes up for these.There is a seating area inside and outside. They do close early. (6 p.m.)

No more trips to the north side to satisfy the cravings for BBQ for me!  Mr. K's is BBQ done right!

I've been going to El Gorrion for more than 10 years. I went to school at Pueblo High School across the street and presently work there so I've been to this place many, many times.

I always enjoy the carne asada tacos, that's probably my favorite dish. Nothing special, but I really enjoy eating them with the fresh salad bar which includes their two house salsas with limes, onions, cucumbers & jalapeños. This makes for great toppings on any dish. Chips are served with every meal.

Their tortas with fries is also one of my favorites. Their daily lunch specials are a nice bargain. Their freshly squeezed lemonade or horchata a very good. (No Refills) There is free refills on the soft-drinks.

I'm not a seafood type of guy but from what I've heard it's delicious.

The atmosphere is your typical mexican setting with your favorite latin hits on the background. Not good for groups larger than 10. The staff is courteous and fast. Hardly any wait from when you place order to when you get your food.

Went to see what all the fuss was about after seeing this burger joint featured on Man Vs. Food. Honestly, I've had a better Burger at Chili's. The burger was ok at best. The Lindy's special sauce is too sweet for my taste.

I must agree with most reviewers here that the basket of tots is worth going back. I'll give this a second chance and try something other than the original burger.

Highlight of my trip to Lindy's was watching a guy taking the OMG Challenge and eating the last bite in 14 minutes. Crazy! (See Picture) He gets the $20 Burger for free and a $5 Gift Card. What a bargain! (Angioplasty not included)

You might ask why a 5 Star rating for Peter Piper Pizza? It's just a combination of many things.

First, I grew up coming to this place and the memories are endless. I've seen this place grow to the huge facility it is now. I think it's the biggest in town. Ask me if remember my old girlfriends phone number and I can't! Ask me if I remember this locations number and it comes naturally (520.624.1111). It offers many  attractions for kids: carousel, bumper cars and arcade. Kids love it. You also have a few big screen tv's for the sports enthusiast. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Especially, Kurt!

Second, the pizza just seems to hit the spot. Although I prefer the taste and texture of the old oven baked pizza over the new "speed" ovens, I still enjoy their pie. Breadsticks, Buffalo Wings & Salads are all great sides. Salads are always fresh when I order them. Dessert pizza is also a must. I've been coming to the buffet recently and the low price makes this place a popular choice during lunch hour.

Yes, there is better pizza places in Tucson: Grimaldi's, Zachary's, Mama's & Oreganos. But personally, Peters is a place for family & friends while enjoying a hot pie!

As a side note: the Valencia & Silverbell locations still have the old ovens. See if you can taste the differance. Ask for it well done. It will be nice and crispy.

Great for a quick bite. Burgers are great. You can't go wrong with Breakfast anytime.
