We had a horrible experience. My wife had her thyroid removed and we were told it would be an overnight stay. In the morning when we arrived, we were told we were 45 minutes late. My wife had confirmed the arrival time twice so that didn't start the day well.

We had prepped for me to stay the night with her and when we arrived to the room, we were surprised that it was not at all like the Web site described. My closet is bigger than the room they gave us. There was only a bed. The rest of the equipment was put in the bathroom because there was no other place for it. It took 30 minutes for them to get a IV pole so they could start my wife on pain killer. Not good for her.

In addition, I had to keep asking for a chair so I could just sit down- 90 minutes later I finally got the chair. I sat there while my wife slept with my back against the wall and my knees touching her bed. (The room was that small!)

About 4 hours later they finally moved us to the room we were expecting. This came as a complete surprise because they never mentioned they might be moving us - kudos to them.

The final straw came late that evening. Because of the surgery they were very concerned with her throwing up. They wanted to know how she felt and kept telling us to get them right away. In addition, they kept increasing her medication to keep her stomach under control. Well it didn't work and she started to heave. I quickly left the room and to bring in a nurse and the response I got - The nurses are all on break! I was ready to walk out of the hospital with that comment. I do have to give them props that someone did ask how the our experience was the following day.

Yesterday, my wife and kids worked to get our garden ready for spring planting. We put some seedling starter kits together, worked on the border of the garden (grass was creeping in) and rented a tiller to break up the dirt. We rented the tiller from GSR Rentals in Duvall, Wa.

I had called on Saturday about reserving the tiller for Monday. The response I got was they only make reservations the first hour they are open and they currently didn't have any. I had to clarify that I was asking about Monday and they reiterated their policy. He did say however, that he felt they'd have something in the afternoon on Monday.

On Monday, I just went by mid-afternoon and they had a tiller, so I got it for four hours. (Their price is either for four hours or all day). I was almost done with my tilling when a belt went out on the machine. I called up GSR rental and they offered to either replace the tiller and I could have it all night at no charge to finish my project or reduce the initial rental fee. I was almost done with the project and felt like it wouldn't be worth my time to make another trip, so I opted for the reduction in rental fee.

Several weeks ago, I approached The Laurel Tree to host an event for me. They are a local art gallery that features local artists. The event was for a Duvall Chamber of Commerce activity where we delivery welcome bags to people who move into the area.

It was a fantastic event. They had everything set up the way I needed it. The art, jewelry, and paintings made an excellent decor. We even talked about a few of the pieces on display while we waited for people to show up.

I highly recommend The Laurel Tree if you are in need of a meeting space, or are interested in finding a unique gift for a family member or friend.

Yummy Food! Great atmosphere! Fun place! I recently had the great opportunity to hold two luncheon meetings at the Pomegranate Bistro. I had never been before.

Both times I ate there, I had a great experience. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. I was doing some presentations and they helped me set up just the way I needed, and then went above and beyond what needed to be done during the course of the meal.

The food was great. No complaints on my end. I can see why this is a popular place. I also like the atmosphere. Lisa Dupar (owner) runs a catering company out of the restaurant, and so they have these huge glass windows to see the catering company at work. It was awesome!

I walked in to speak with Diane Fulton, the owner of Pony Mailbox and Business Center in Woodinville today. I couldn't believe what I found. She was shipping a loom. First, how many actually knows what a loom is, and second, why would anyone ship one? Who knows.

Diane has over 12 years of experience shipping also sorts of things. She has experience shipping everything from very fragile items to well.... looms. Anyway, I really liked the store because it had a kids area for kids while us parents tried to take care of business.

In addition. she had several gift areas. She had several unique items and when I asked her about it, she said that she was brining in some new items on March 22. She called it her Spring Fling, when she updates the gift items. I highly recommend visiting Diane's store for all of your shipping needs.
