I am a HUGE fan of this place....I have been a regular since July when I first went. I brought so many of my friends and family to this place. Love the food, love the people that work there and the service was always excellent....until recently. I have become very disappointed with the service here and I feel bad because I want this restaurant to do really really well....they deserve it! They are good people who serve great food but their new waitress is probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had.

So last Sunday, my husband and I decided to go here which is our usual Go-To place. We had a mishap the weekend before when the waitress forgot our 3-year old nieces Grilled Cheese sandwich. By the time the sandwich arrived, all of the adults were done with their lunch. Annoying yes but we overlooked it and figured it was a one time event. My husband and I arrived and were quickly seated. I noticed that my menu was slightly smudged in the area where the particular item I wanted was. When we were ordering, I asked the waitress what the rest of the food description was. Her reply was "I don't know". She didn't make any immediate effort to find out until I asked her if I could have another menu to find out. So I ordered my meal and my husband ordered as well asking for a side order of toast and butter. The waitress said "Okay". Don't get me wrong...she is a very polite and courteous young lady but it is apparent after this incident that she lacks communication understanding and that English is not  her first language. So out comes our  meals. My husband's toast did not come so he asked the waitress again if he could please order toast and butter (he wanted to dip his egg in it). So he waited and waited...finally after 10 minutes he asked the same waitress where his toast and butter were and she looked at him confused and asked "Oh you still wanted that?" Uhhhh yeah. So a few minutes pass as she is rushing around table to table and then she takes a moment to look confused, consult the gentleman working that day who comes over and asks if he can help with anything. My husband said that he had ordered toast and butter several times and that he just wanted a sourdough piece of bread and some butter...that was it! He was getting a bit frustrated. The gentleman says "Sure no problem". A few minutes later my husband is served by the waitress a HUGE PLATE OF FRENCH TOAST!!! My husband gave up and just looked at it without correcting her and tossed his egg into the French toast and surrendered. We gave up...this waitress was not getting it and it seemed to be an easy and reasonable request.

So upon paying up at the register, we were charged for that order of French toast which my husband explained to the cashier and they removed the charge. I am not sure if he got an apology but he was told that the waitress was new. Okay I get that she is new  but as a person who has never waitressed in my life, I could get a customer a piece of toast and butter...no problem. The problem is not that she is new, it's that she just does not understand.

I REALLY want this place to thrive and I really want this place to do well because the food is excellent and the people are nice! I miss the older woman who waitressed there...she was amazing! Sadly she retired. There is another nice young woman that waitresses there with no problem....but this new gal. I feel sorry for her...she is so sweet but she obviously does not get it and I hope it's not hurting their business.

I don't think I will be coming back for a while or recommending this place until the kinks are worked out with the new waitress. I'm sad because I really love this place! I have also written a letter to the manager in hopes that the issue can be resolved and they can continue to be a great place because I believe in them!

If you are lucky enough to have Angel as your waitress dining here, you will definitely have an enjoyable time! She was so entertaining through our dinner that it made our experience that much better...great sense of humor, excellent customer service and seems to be well liked by her co-workers.

We came here last weekend for a friend's birthday dinner. We went with the banquet meal since there was 11 adults. With the banquet dinner we received:

Appetizers:
platter of Italian cured meats and olives: salami was delicious and big! I am not a fan of prosciutto but our friends seemed to like it.
calamari: didn't get a chance to try this but my husband says it was decent
Caprese tomato, basil and mozzarella: YUMMY! My favorite appetizer!

First course:
Penne Salsiccia (Italian sausage, mushrooms, sun dried tomatoes, basil, garlic, white wine sauce) a bit salty but very tasty!
Gnocchi Pomodoro (homemade potato gnocchi, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese) AWESOME! Best dish of the night! I would order this in a heartbeat again!
Spaghetti Bellagio (Parma ham, marinara cream sauce, egg yolks, parmesan cheese, oregano) Flavorful but again salty...I think like the penne that the meats really make the dishes salty.

Second course:
Pollo ai Pepperoni (chicken breast, sweet bell pepper, capers, white wine, lemon sauce)--one of the best dishes that night. The chicken was cooked perfectly and moist and the flavors of the sauce were very good.
- Salmone all' Oscheritana (salmon fillet, diced tomatoes, capers, white wine, lemon sauce)--I am not a big fan of salmon but I really enjoyed this dish and it wasn't fishy at all!

Dessert:
Tiramisu--loved it!
Ciccolato Mousse--loved it even more!
Cannoli--good but was not my favorite dessert

Overall a great dining experience with exceptional customer service and really delicious food. I would come back again definitely!

Be sure to get yourself a shot of Limoncello which is a very popular Italian liquor.

I highly recommend Strada if you are in need of making yourself beautiful and relaxed in a tranquil and gorgeous environment with stylists and estheticians that know what they are doing!

Jennifer and Audra rock!

The owner Jennifer is an amazing hair stylist! She has been cutting mine and my husband's hair for about a year now. She listens to exactly what we are looking for and gives ideas and suggestions on what she thinks will make our style better. We both have always left extremely happy with our new haircuts and color.

If you are in need of esthetician services, Audra is your gal! She specializes in LED photo rejuvenation, endermologie, eyelash extensions and spray tanning. She is the perfect person to see if you are preparing for a big day like a wedding!

Definitely check this place out! It is conveniently located in Willow Glen where parking is easy and the ladies that work there will make you look and feel like a million bucks!

Be aware that when you are e-mailed a confirmation of where to pickup your truck, that you might be told to pick up at a location off of Cottle.

We had a large group of friends meeting at our place at 9am to help us move from South San Jose to Santa Clara. My husband and I headed to Uhaul hoping to get the truck early enough to get back in time to meet our friends. My husband's e-mail confirmation told us to pick up the truck at Cottle (near Lowe's). We drove around for 30 minutes trying to find a Uhaul location. We even called the number on the e-mail and were told that they would open at 8am. Finally after calling around other Uhaul locations, I found out that the pickup location was really on Curtner. We headed to Curtner, picked up the truck with no trouble.

Other then that, it was a good experience. We got a great truck and were able to return it the same day with no hassle. Make sure that you make some phone calls to confirm your actual pick up location before driving around aimlessly at 7 in the morning!

Thank you to a good friend for recommending Score to me! I am so happy to have found a great chiropractic place that takes my insurance! Finally no longer having to pay lots of money to be adjusted and now that I am pregnant....I need weekly visits due to my lower back and tailbone pain.

I have been seeing Dr. Travis and he is awesome! Super personable and friendly and easy to talk to. I love my visits with him and always feel 100% better after my visits. They usually start me out in one of the rooms on my left hip and the Dr. uses this machine that sort of reminds me of a sander to massage my lower back really well. It feels great!

Then he moves me over to an adjustment table where we do some leg stretches and then on to the adjustments. Every week is a little different for me since he is slowly trying to accommodate to my growing belly and use the best techniques to achieve optimal feel good status.

I highly recommend this place for your adjustments and regular appts!

I am so glad I found this place after a friend referred me here to get my nails done with Shellac for a wedding I was in.

They seem to have lots of different services if you are looking for a one-stop shop to get beautified!

I had my nails done by Hien who did a great job of giving me a Shellac French manicure. She was friendly and professional and not one boo-boo or bubble in my nails.

The appt took about an hour and my nails look beautiful!

My Shellac nails were more expensive then what I would normally pay for at other places but they did an excellent job and 2 weeks and 2 days later...my French manicure still looks great!

What a wonderful find this was! My book club girls and I came here to enjoy a nice dinner at a place we had not tried. We had made a reservation for 7pm but were not seated until 7:30pm. It was freezing cold out that night and there is no room inside to sit and wait so we were forced to freeze our tails off outside waiting for the table to open up.

Finally when we got seated, everything was fine. We were helped by a woman who seemed to be hosting and waiting on the whole restaurant! She was busy!

We all enjoyed the bread with olive oil and vinegar and ordered various drinks.

I ordered the special of the day which was a pasta dish with red sauce and broccolini and bell peppers. They also are able to serve your dishes with egg-free pasta if you are vegan which was great for my vegan friend.

We were all served our dinner...unfortunately I was at first served the wrong dish but was quickly remedied with the right plate.

Service was nice and pretty quick for one woman running the whole place.

I would definitely come back here in the future!

This place is cheap....3 of us stayed here on a Thursday night for about $40 for the room. Luckily it was only for one night.

The price was really the only good thing about this place. The rooms were dirty, stained and reeked of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately that whole weekend my pajamas smelled of old cigarettes and I had to deal with it since I only brought one pair of jammies with me. Yuck!

Shower and bathroom were decent....if it were not for the reeking cigarette smell I could probably overlook the downfalls of this place but I definitely will not be coming here again. Front desk was not all that warm and friendly either.

Also parking is a problem....getting up the driveway can be tricky in heavy snow so we were forced to park down the street and park in the casino parking lot and carry our luggage to the room. At 3am, this was not my idea of a good time!

Excellent service and great quality rentals!

I threw a bridal shower for a friend at my home and was in need of tables and chairs for the party. I had heard great things about Williams Party Rental so I decided to contact them about renting 2 tables, 12 chairs and 2 pink table clothes. Total for the rental about $50. Unfortunately you have to rent at least $200 to get free delivery and pickup or pay $60. I opted to have a friend help me with his truck with pickup and delivery.

We quickly picked up the items on a Friday and they were beautiful...just perfect! Return was easy on a Monday and no need to clean the linens.

Renting from here couldn't have been easier! I will be using them in the future for other rentals. Show owner comment »

Wow! This place was amazing! After being referred here by the owners of the place we had stayed at and seeing my friend Vivian's review of this place, I knew we would have a really nice dinner.

We had to try the tomato soup in puff pastry which was recommended to us.

We were quickly seated and shared a nice dinner of a tomato soup, salad and Sol.

The Crême de Tomate en Croute is amazing! So so so good and warm....it was the perfect combo of soup and puff pastry. We should have ordered two!

The salad was a Salade de Haricots Verts which was Green bean salad with oven roasted tomatoes and parmesan cheese....deee-lish! Wow it was so good! Super flavorful and the tomatoes were sweet...like sun-dried tomatoes.

For dinner we shared Sole Meunière which was Petrale sole fillet, mashed potatoes lemon-caper butter sauce...to die for!! Buttery, fresh and rich. We loved it!

I am glad we were able to try so many things and share them...it was the perfect amount of food for us and our bill came out to less then $50 for dinner!

We love Yountville and will definitely be coming back here again in the future....loved the food here!
