one of the reasons i went to bend was for this brewery. i wasnt so attached to doing the standard brewery tour where i become a bit jealous that i cant do all of that in my kitchen, but i went because of both: a) the selection of beer that i would never be able to get in california, and b) the great pub food that ive read about.

lets start with the beer.
i was impressed that 80% of the available beers were ones that were new to me (and i went to a  tap takeover once where deschutes brought 15 or so beers). i, of course, got a 6-glass sampler as well as a pint of another. i was semi-dissapointed that they didnt have some beers on reserve there, i was looking for dissident, mirror mirror, abyss... that is where they lost one yelp star from me.

the food:
my wife and i shared two sandwiches that we both loved, one of them was (if i remember correctly) a spicy black bean burger with a good amount of greens on there. I have low expectations for pub food (as we all should) but this was restaurant quality food.

i can understand people coming for the food alone, or the beer alone. but they do a great job at getting both things in there very nicely together.

and they use dyson airblades in the bathroom which i love.

Every time i go in here I realize that i want to come back already. I know the store has a small selection of items that I could use myself (as a guy), but now that i'm married i find myself going in here more often for gift purchases. This store still seems like the perfect store to be in santa cruz. It keeps many people from making trips up to Hayes Valley in sf.

I am happy that the store is carrying more and more guys clothing. I am also happy that they are now carrying Strawfoot Handmade bags.

the beer here is so much better than seabright brewery, the outside patio is quieter than seabright brewery. its a good place to be a beer fan and enjoy a happy hour and you dont have to be having sports on lcd screens everywhere. this is becoming my favorite happy hour location.

i stumbled upon this place, and at first i noticed that the prices were pretty high, so i didnt feel much like looking around. but then i see this jacket that i liked and it was actually priced well (not a great deal, but amidst everything else there it seemed great). i was about to pay for it, when i noticed a big stain on the arm. so that explains the price. so i struck out there, but my wife found a few items at the womens store and she felt like she had a great experience there.

ive been meaning to go here for a while. it is the first place ive seen featured in Sunset Magazine that made me want to go there. so i felt indifferent about it at first. Sunset magazine is not necessarily my style, nor would i want to go out into the Sunset district of SF if i dont need to be. but on saturday i overcame both sunset indifferences and stopped in for lunch. my wife and i were very pleased. short wait, great fresh food, great prices, great decor. we loved it. the sandwiches were so good. we will be back more and more. and im sure more and more friends will join us each time.

I am solely writing this based on the experience I was promised versus what I was given.

Last week I was told by an employee that they work with a jeweler to do ring resizing and to come by whenever to do this. Today I come in, after waiting a while for someone to recognize my prescence, I'm given a "what" by one of them and then told they have never done jewelry resizing.

My review wouldve been 5 stars a few months ago when they were under old ownership. Sad this place has lost some of their stars.

This place was great. We had the broccolini sauteed with garlic and lemon, the linguine with artichoke, and the chicken and asparagus ravioli. The ravioli was particularly amazing. I give this place 5 stars based on our one time there, hoping that it ends up staying at that rating with each return visit.

We heard there is usually a long wait which is both a good thing and a bad thing, but we were able to just walk right up and get our lunch served quickly. I instant knew that I wanted the flor n Tom eggs Benedict.

Its funny looking back to the dentist I had growing up and now putting it all together about how his teeth never looked clean nor did they ever seem the least bit straight.

About a year ago I decided to search for a dentist on my own. I had no clue what signs one is supposed to look for when dentist-hunting. I figured the first criteria was to make sure that said dentist can accept the random insurance plan i have. ok, he does, and he is a great communicator, and he has great hours that work for the people with full time jobs.

Each visit with Dr. Sholer has been great, and every aspect of the switching of dentists process has gone very smoothly. I will continue to see Dr Sholer for both simple cleanings and all dental consultations. Dr Sholer has treated me as a friend every time I'm in his office.

this place is so great, all around. i want to give it five stars because i want to live here. but i have to be realistic and give it  4 because the pieces seem pretty pricey.

besides furniture there are windows, siding, bellows, molding, ships, an art gallery, and its so clean and organized.

if i get more money i would definitely shop here. that would also be when i have a house to be in as well
