It's located in Addison in a strip mall but I knew as I drove up the ambiance would be great! Luckily, I was right.
We made 7:15 reservations and arrived at 7 and were seated promptly.
Now here is where the reviews come in...
The bad:
- The women who brought us our drinks and bread were horrible. They didn't smile and threw (not placed) the napkins to put our drinks on, on the table
- Speaking of bread, it was TERRIBLE. They serve a roll to each person at the table called a pop over (I think). Nonetheless, it is hard on the outside and gummy on the inside. Also, aside from the gummy inside, it is 90% hollow so after you open the pop over up there is really only 10% substance.
- Finally, I ordered ribs as my entree. Although quite tasty, after each bite I had to pull white hard rib cartilage out of my mouth. Yes...I understand there are bones and such in ribs but these had a extremely LARGE amount of cartilage in it. It made me nauseous and I had to stop eating.
Now...the good:
- our waiter was awesome!
- The adult mac and cheese was to die for and the sauteed spinach was the best I had ever had
- Also, the bf got stuffed trout and it was really good.
I recommend you go but beware of the bread and don't order the ribs. But def get the mac and cheese!

There are so many reasons I love this place. Mainly because it is horribly wonderful! Thursday night is ladies night and this place gets PACKED!
Filled with people from all over Dallas this place is magical. I've seen guys wearing tails (I kid you not, he had a lion tail attached to his jeans. When asked why the tail he stated that it gets attention. I give him credit...it does). I've also had the honor or seeing a couple come here after they got married. It's always a good time watching a redneck couple come in a TX tuxedo and a wedding dress to a bar and down Bud Lights and smoke cigarettes. God bless Texas!
Aside from the circus act (stated above), this place is a good time. Great country music both new and old, they mix in pop music so all the Rocky Mountain wearing girls can shake their butt and at 2am when you leave the BBQ stand outside is SLAMMIN!
I recommend this place for dancing and of course people watching.
Opened in 1931, Highland Park Village is considered the first shopping center in America. Chanel, Hermes and Harry Winston are a few of the high end stores in this shopping center. Aside from the stores you will also find an array of restaurants and a move theater.
The word shopping center sounds tacky...I know. But Highland Park Village is anything but tacky. Located in Highland Park at the corner of Preston and Mockingbird, this establishment has charm, class and style.
The only thing this place is lacking is snow. Yes, that is an odd comment but if we received snow in Texas this place would be a Winter Wonderland.
I love Target and it hurts me when I am forced to drive 20 mins away to get to one that isn't overcrowded, dirty, loud, smelly and full of unsupervised children running the aisles like this one is.
I need someone I can call and complain about this store to and request a nicer, cleaner Target to be built in the neighborhood.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. There is a dry thru so you never have to leave your car and when you pick up your clothes they will place them neatly in your back seat or trunk.
The thing that really got me about this place was the affordable pricing yet high quality of work.
I highly recommend this place for great service and clean/pressed clothes.
This place is tasty, affordable and there is a HUGE selection.
I've only been once so I can't say too much but we had the pot stickers and two rolls and loved everything. I def. recommend this place!

I went in here looking for a Halloween costume. First of all the location is slightly sketchy so 80% of the clientele were too. Also, all the costumes are out on racks, not in packages so when you try them on you do not get all the accessories with them so you don't get the full effect.
I felt cramped in there. I am fairly tall but even if you were 5'7 or taller you would hit your head on all the low hanging signs they have all over the place. I felt like I had to crawl around the store.
Finally, the staff was rude and not helpful. Also, the biggest thing that deterred me was the fact that there was a huge sign over the cash register that says "CASH ONLY". Who doesn't take credit/debit card anymore?
Terrible place! Bad location...bad selection....bad service!
You walk in and are given a card. Apparently this card keeps track of what you order at their various "stations" so at the end you pay the cashier at the front door. I don't mind the card concept at this point. But what threw me over the top was when you go to the "station" of choice, (Italian food), and you have to swipe your card in front of the cash register for your order to register in the system and show up on the card. WTF! If this isn't explained step by step then you have no idea what is going on or where to swipe the damn thing. So the women who took my order at the "station" told me to swipe my card but didn't tell me where. So I looked like a moron waving my card all over the place until the lady RUDELY snatched my card out of my hand and swiped it for me.
Seriously, either explain exactly how everything works or just do it for me. I shouldn't have to do all the work and get treated like crap.
The food was good but the process was a nightmare!
1. You can grab your Louis Vuitton, Ray Bans and Lacoste shirt and go to Breadwinners to wait in line for a good hour before eating
2. You can go the the Original Pancake House to wait in line with screaming children for average food
or...
3. You can go to Mama's Daughter Diner. Look like you are hungover and no one will care, probably not wait in line and eat some great home cooking for cheap!
Mama's Daughters doesn't fail. It's so good. Whatever you crave for breakfast they have. Biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles, fruit, grits. You name it (as long as it's nothing fancy) they have it.
The waitresses are nice. The atmosphere is laid back. The food is awesome! Great place!

I'm going to keep this simple mainly because I am not in the mood to give this place much of my time.
Garlic fries = HORRIBLE! I love garlic but this was punch you in your face too much garlic.
BBQ Chicken Pizza - ummm....where was the BBQ sauce? It wasn't on the pizza, that's for sure. Oh, and my blood pressure is through the roof now with on the salt that was on it!
Waitress - "Hey waitress...YOU SUCK!"
Now, I need to some how get the garlic from the fries out of my mouth...
