I don't know why the reviews are so all over the board. We have always had good food here. Seriously, every single time. Now granted, we have only eaten in there once, we always get delivery. So I'm not saying it's a great date spot, but the food is good. Really, I mean it!
The rolls are awesome, the tri tip is always perfect, the garlic mashed are super yummy. C'mon people, it's good BBQ!!

Probably more like 3.5 stars...We met family here on our way back from Palm Springs.
We had a really nice time here. The food was good, and the service was fantastic. The place was pretty busy, so we were happy to be seated right away (party of 5).
The 20oz draft beer is one of the best things ever invented. They have a great selection of beers, so even better.
I had the Flat Iron Steak (my new favorite) and it really was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The garlic mashed potatoes were good, but not the best I've ever had. Hubby had the prime rib (the smaller portion is called the Cowgirl and he refused to order it by name which made me giggle). He said it was passable. Enjoyable enough to go back, but maybe to try something different.
All in all it was a good meal in a nice casual atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it if anyone asked where to go to dinner in Yucaipa - not that that's going to happen anytime soon...

Went here on Halloween on our way home from San Diego. I was in the mood for Chipotle but they were giving away free burritos if you dressed up as a burrito and the place was packed with people wearing tinfoil. Most bizarre thing I have ever seen. Anyhow, this was on the way back to the freeway and the smell of bbq wafted our way...you get it, right?
This is for sure closer to 3 stars than 2, I was on the fence and rounded up.
The food is pretty darn good. It wasn't the best bbq I ever had, but pretty darn good. The cornbread was flippin' amazing though!!!
I had the rib tips, which were good, but there were a few overcooked ones. The spicy bbq sauce they have is soooo good. Hubby had the brisket which he really liked. The sides were good, I really enjoyed the coleslaw. Oh, the portions... my rib tip plate was massive. Three meals for me, great value!
The service was great, our waitress was so nice, not fake nice, just really genuine.
Definitely a good casual place, and since it's halfway between home and San Diego I have a feeling we'll be back, and happily!

I wrestled between 2 and 3 stars. I usually round up, and might have had we not waited for flipping ever to get menus. The good news is that once we received our menus the service was fine, good even.
The sushi itself, and the sashimi that we ordered were good. Not amazing, but good. The Rainbow Roll and the Island Roll (I think) were actually better than good. They were a little pricey, but big rolls, so not too high when I think about it. We would not have ordered a couple of the smaller rolls if we knew how big they were.
The only items we didn't like were the spicy tuna and spicy scallop. I love love love (and in case you didn't know) looooove spicy scallop, but I wouldn't order any of their spicy rolls again. Very heavy on the siracha hot sauce and red pepper flakes. I can take the heat, but I like my spicy rolls made with the sesame chili oil, not the siracha. Hubby couldn't handle the heat, so I was left to finish them on my own.
All in all not too bad, not amazing. The best part was the parking!!!! We were going to the Wiltern and parked there for practically nothing...

I think the main reason I am giving this five stars is this was the best deal during our vacation. I am still a little shocked at how good the food was with the bill as low as it was. Huge value here!
We all had the 8oz prime rib, which seemed waaaayyyy bigger than 8oz to all of us. It was so good, so flavorful. I think it was under $10??? Seriously, great value.
Service was wonderful, very attentive. I would absolutely go back here when in Vegas!

We were only in Kanab two nights, and since we'd been doing steakhouses since the beginning of the vacation, decided on Mexican food for a change of pace.
The restaurant was clean, but soooo well lit that we actually turned off the fan lamp that was over us. They should turn every other light off for a better atmosphere.
Great menu, so much to choose from. The chips came out warm and the salsa was really good. I don't know why, but I am always happy when the chips are warm. I know I should expect it, but not all Mexican restaurants serve warm chips. Yay for warm chips!
I had carne asada tacos and hubby had carne asada burrito. Correction, that's what he ordered, but they must not have heard the burrito part. Oh well, hubby is good about not sending back mistakes, and he did just fine with this. The carne asada was excellent. My tacos were so flavorful, great guacamole. The beans were so good too. I can't comment on the rice, I go for double beans, no rice. Mmmmm refried beans...
We had churros for dessert, they were just okay, not worth the calories to me. I love love love a good churro, but I won't eat a second bite if it's just okay.
Service was good, very friendly, and very quick to fill up sodas and bring more beer. Yay for more beer!

This probably deserves a 2.5, but I'm not going to get on my soapbox about the half stars here...
Food was just okay, it wasn't bad, it wasn't great. Hubby and I shared a small calzone and it was massive. Definitely enough for four people if you aren't a football player or something like that.
TV's were on and there was beer, so we were happy there.

There is no place else to go for breakfast in Vegas, I don't care how many nights I'm there!
For those of you who haven't been, it's worth it, but figure a good $22 per person after coffee and juice.

This was a great choice for lunch, the burgers and fries were great. I am usually not into onion rings but they were amazing.
We had a really nice server, but something definitely happened with our order. At least 5 tables were seated after us, and they all received their food, finished it, and left before we ever received ours. I understand that these things happen, but I was a little surprised that our server never acknowledged it.
Still a good meal, not sure if I would go back or not the next time I am in Zion.

Really nice atmosphere, we loved the piano. Wonderful menu and wine list.
We started with the escargot, which was really good. Not the best we ever had, but definitely a nice find in Simi Valley. We dipped a fair amount of bread in the garlic butter and that was darn tasty!
I started with the french onion soup and hubby had the clam chowder. My soup was really good, but didn't have the presentation that you would expect, it was in a regular soup bowl. Hubby said the chowder was good.
Entree for me was the rack of lamb. Excellent. Cooked perfectly. Garlic potatoes were wonderful. Hubby had prime rib which was also very good.
Service was very good, we never felt rushed and everything was prepared as we ordered, which I know sounds like a no brainer, but so many times the temperature on meat is wrong.
My only knock on the place is the butter served with bread. Anytime I see butter packets on the table, I am disappointed. I understand the food cost, but the presentation is lacking.
Nice evening though, we'll go back if we have a special occasion that we don't feel like leaving Simi for.
