Dr. Simon is a highly educated and very exacting endodontist who I recommend to everyone. He has very gentle technique and after a recent root canal I did not experience any tissue trauma that so often contributes to unnecessary swelling and pain at a procedure site. I returned to see him today and the root canal site has healed very well.

I came to West Portal Dental Care after suffering from postoperative complications at the dental clinic at the cities major dental school at the University of California at San Francisco. Dr. Tamir Wardany was immediately available. He is very friendly, a role model for fitness and professionalism and very competent and confident. I have moved my dental services to West Portal Dental Care and I am very happy with the high standard of care I receive at a clinic within one block of where I work and within a mile of where I live.

This Walgreens has an African American security guard who profiles Black people who spend money regularly at the store and stalks customers around in plain view. I am a physician who spends up to $100 at this store on supplies for my medical office. Last Friday I was stalked by this plain clothes security man and ran into him at least five times while I was in the store. On two occassions he was staring at me. I will be filing a harassment and racial profiling complaint with the management on Monday and will no longer be using this location.

This restaurant on West Portal Avenue offers ambience, a friendly but loud crowd of devotees, the best crab salad, salmon cobb salad and glass of sauvignon blanc in San Francisco. A little pricey but worth it. Always open. Professional staff. Very pretty environment. The West Portal location is the only Squat and Gobble I have eaten at.
