Ozgood's Neighborhood Grill & Bar
Category: Restaurants
Wow my parents are right about this place...
----------
FOOD: I got a bbq sampler which comes with shrimp, ribs and chicken along with potato filling and rice pilaf. With the exception of the rice, everything was awesome! Dessert was a strawberry parfait and was also great. My parents said that this is a one off (not a chain) restaurant and they make all the food right there as compared to a chain that buys it pre made in a bag.
DECOR: Its a local bar and grill, so its not super fantastic, but its pretty nice inside and spacious. The bar (which did include the local drunks) is in a separate room, which is nice for diners.
SERVICE: Good. The waitresses are friendly and helpful and come back often.
----------
WOULD I GO BACK? If it wasnt so far out of my way, yes I would. My parents say that everything on the menu is great. They said the ribeye is the best and New Years eve has an awesome buffet.

Its the amazing maize maze! Its massive, its a lot of fun, and believe me, after you pass the same spot 6 times, youre looking for the exit!
----------
I never did a corn maze before. It was really pretty cool. At the same time, its really frustrating..
It was also a corn festival day, so there was lots of other stuff to do. Theres games, food (all revolving around corn. Mmm, corn dogs), a petting zoo, hay rides... I think a lot of that stuff is there normally tho. But they have additional stuff going on like corn eating contests.
To put it simply, this is a really fun (and tiring) day out. you need to try it out!
Its about 15$ per person for adults for an all day pass.

So my car needs inspected and since Jones bought my dealer and then moves it to some back lot for no one to find, Im left picking a nearby garage.
Its not a bad place, they do fair work for reasonable prices. Its near my work, and lots of coworkers go here so I tried it out for inspection. Of course it turns out I need tires... so $300 for inspection and 2 tires.
Anyway, the staff is as friendly as can be for mechanics (so not too bad), and they work on your car pretty fast. They will tell you that a friday is not the time to bring it in as thats the busiest day.
They open at 7am and take credit cards.

Ugh, malls annoy me..
----------
PARKING: Like all malls, parking is horrible, and with the addition of the new fountain shops, parking is even worse. Listen, its summer and there is no place to park in the new fountain shops section. Cant wait for christmas! There is plenty of parking on the other side of the mall tho.
FOUNTAIN SHOPS: Its park citys newest group of stores.. and its outside! You kind of cant access most of them from inside, and theres no cover in case of weather. They are nice looking tho. There is a Black and white store, a coldwater creek, and a restaurant (and several other places). But Ive only been in the restaurant.
INSIDE: As always, they are renovating or adding new stores (Apple store coming soon!), so I assume its because of growth potential. With the new stores its kind of crowded, and at christmas its impossible to move around let alone shop comfortably.
----------
Overall, I wouldnt mind the mall, but its too big, too crowded, too hard to get out of the lot and too expensive. Its the largest mall in the county and guess what? They are about to build the second largest mall right next to it. Just in time too because we can always use more of the same chain stores.

Older and "Weis"er i guess...
----------
After dinner at Tulsi, me and my girl decided to walk over to Weis for some ice cream to take home. This Weis has to be on the list for renovations. It just HAS to be. I mean, this is one of the oldest Weis stores Ive been in for a while. It just has that feel to it, and it still has the old check out lanes and no self check out lanes.
Other than the old feel it has, its clean and very well organized. It also has lots of maneuvering space for your cart.
This Weis is located next to the Lowes on Columbia Ave.

mmm, books? I love books... alot... and a wide range of them. However, used fiction, romance novels and fantasy does not constitute a wide range. One set of shelves of everything else is kind of depressing for me. Not to mention that the system of sorting is just shove them on a shelf near the section they are to be. My shelves at home are better organized. Thats the problem with this place. Its mostly fiction and not much else. They have a section marked audio, but its like 5 harry potters (and not very cheap) and not much else.
They have a sign that says they take trades, but if you ask if theyll take donations they scowl at you. Not sure why they would pass up free books, but then maybe they just want ten thousand harry potters..
Ive been here a couple times, never found anything useful and wont go back. Go to Chestnut street books for a decent used selection.

This is quite a nice trail. It connects to the conewago trail in lancaster and its slightly wider and a little quieter. With fewer intersections and parking lots, there are fewer people in the longer in between sections. It does have mile markers, but sometimes they can be hard to spot as they are wood colored and short. But thats my only real complaint with this trail.
Like the conewago trail, there is no real address for this so I used the closest interesction from mile marker 1 which is the end of conewago and beginning of LVR.

Conewago Recreation Trail
Category: Hiking
A coworker suggested this system which connects to the Lebanon Valley trail system and it was quite a nice ride. Its a hardpan former railroad track, so its a smooth ride. My only issue is its width. i wish it was just a couple feet wider as the majority of it is about the size of a railroad track. This makes for a problem when you encounter other bikers, hikers or horses... usually all at once.
Just a side note, theres no real address here so I used the closest intersection. If your driving on 230 away from E-town and come across industrial road, youve gone too far. You can see on the little map a railroad track diagram. Thats the place. Also, since its such a popular trail, parking can be an issue too.

ugh, overpriced baby supplies.
----------
Let me put it simply... this is not a place for guys. We went because my girl was going to a baby shower. Its full of baby supplies, and yes they have quite a selection of nice items, but they are way overpriced. Baby water? Really? for 5$? Oh come on.
To top off my trip-o-fun, some lady was at the counter with a bad credit card. Now you would think there would be more than 2 registers open on a weekend. Nope. So we get in the other line, which also doesnt move. Check out took about 15 minutes.
If places like this are what I have to look forward to, I dont want kids.

Its not a bad place. Theyve got pretty much any craft item you need from goofy straw amish kids to paint and canvas. My only issue is checking out. The lines in these sorts of places never seem to move and invariably theres some old lady writing a check..
