My son closed his laptop on his mouse and cracked the display on his HP laptop. After considerable searching around the Bay Area and a phone call to these folks, we stopped in and dropped it off for a screen replacement.

Why here?? They seemed competent and the price quoted was reasonable. I could have purchased the screen and put it in myself, but the labor charge here made it unnecessary and it's always nice to deal with an experienced company where you can deal with them in person.

Fast forward 15 months, and he broke it again. Kudos to these folks for giving him a price break on the SECOND screen replacement.

They are competent, reliable and do the job for the price quoted in our experience. PC or Mac laptops are both serviced here.

Give them a try, should your laptop need any repairs or upgrades!!

For a modestly priced Pho place there is room for a large group and the  tables were clean and even had a decorative edge on them. Just me, the designer noticing things . . . and it was bright and cheery inside.

I had the seafood noodle soup with rice noodles and the large was really huge and was served with two other smaller bowls of broth and another one of hot oil. I also ordered the combo plate with pork chops, fried crab cakes and fried sausage. An interesting combination it was.

I am far from an authority on Vietnamese food, but enjoyed what they served and would go back. Value was pretty good, with the large seafood noodle soup bowl enough for a good meal at $7.95. With the combo plate at $9.95 there was enough for me to take home for another meal.

They do take credit cards, a real plus. Give them a try if you are looking for Pho - it is pho for sho . . .

Mick, the great guy who started this company many years ago sold it to the current owners about 2 years back, but still works here part time. Mick is semi-retired but still around.

I did business with Mick several times over the past 20 years of living in the area and when we needed a key made for a filing cabinet went here first. They made us a key from the code on the lock, but it was the incorrect one. We took the cabinet in and left it, and even though there were no catalog id's for the correct key, they still made one for us from scratch.

Didn't charge us any more, either. Still first class in service and products.

Give them a try and pet their friendly dog when you  stop in.

I have a friend with a sprained ankle in need of an ankle brace.

She has a big boot type that is impractical to walk in.
She has a slip on compression wrap that doesn't provide enough support.

Stopping in here, we met the nicest Salesperson and Personal Fitter who happened to be the manufacturer's rep for the product needed. He took the time to unwrap each brace, put it on her foot, show her how to wrap it properly and found EXACTLY what was needed. She had already shopped around, and the prices were competitive. Finding exactly what was needed in the right size and being willing to help her try on each one until the proper one was found = truly excellent customer service.

Nelly Sanchez, is one of the two very nice ladies who work here and will go out of her way to help you, too.

After trying two other online traffic schools in the past 6 years, I found this one to be the simplest and easiest to complete to satisfy the traffic court requirement.

As most folks already know, you can choose traffic school once every 18 months to keep a conviction off of your driving record to avoid insurance rate increases.

It took me about 2.5 hours total time too complete, and I now have all the content and tests in .pdf form.

While I have been fortunate in getting many tickets dismissed over the past 15 years, having been successful in about 12 out of 16 citations over a long period of time. I seem to average about one citation every 12-24 months. Red light camera tickets are actually the simplest to get dismissed when you know how the system works.

Give these folks a try if you need traffic school, I found them to be responsive, prompt, cost competitive and time efficient. Bonus, they transmit the completion results directly to the court!!!

Lots of food reviews for this place, already. Here is what I liked about it:

1. Clean and bright, comfortable place to eat. Liked the decor, fresh without pretension.

2. I had the seafood noodle soup. Was as good as any other Pho place I have eaten.

3. Nice variety on the menu. and good portions, I observed.

4. Prices reasonable, also liked the real lemonade served.

While working around the corner at the WaMu- Now Chase Bank, these morons locked my keys in my car. I had an extra key (at home in Union City - my fault for not carrying it with me, I know) but these morons would do NOTHING ABOUT IT. I had to get the keys out of the car - they put them on the DASH, with  an hour of wasted time and a long wire.

This is VALET PARKING, right? Keys go on a board in the office, right? Not here!!

They had the absolute gall to still CHARGE me for the parking!!!

Most Filipinos are nice and reasonable, this group are idiots.
Park just up the block at the BofA lot for less . . .

Referred by State Farm, my Insurance company, and Jeff's was prompt, neat and VERY QUICK with my windshield replacement.

Mobile service is Sooo convenient, isn't it?

Called 30 minutes before they arrived to coordinate our schedules.

Great to have a BRAND NEW windshield without having to go somewhere else and wait for it !!!

As other Yelpers have said, when a Chinese restaurant is filled with Chinese diners, it must be good.

The VALUE in what is offered is tough to beat!!

The Seafood Noodle Soup at $5.50 is a LARGE bowl of soup that with some rice added to it becomes another meal later in itself.

The Hot and Sour soup appetizer is tasty and welcome.

The Pork Chop combo Box at $5.50 was another meal in itself.

I ordered BOTH and took enough food home for another day, at least.

Highly recommended . . .

My experience here illustrates why I have been a fan of Apple and Apple products since before the very FIRST McIntosh computer rolled off their production lines more than 25 years ago.

I bought a Mac Mini about 3 years ago, after the Intel chipset changeover and it has been the best computer I have ever owned (so far). Can't wait to get the latest redesigned Mac Mini with the upgraded video card, memory capacity and faster processor.

I had recently purchased the Leopard OSX upgrade package with iLife and iWork for about $145.00. Try finding a full registered copy of the Win whatever Ultimate WITH Win Office PROFESSIONAL for that price. And that was a family pack with a 5 computer install license. I have and run BOTH Win XP and Macs on my home network, do CAD design and other things on the PC's so I am well familiar with both.

After assembling an iTunes Library of over 700GB, I had focused on USING the Mac, rather than MAINTAINING the Mac - like ALL PC's who require extensive and constant MAINTENANCE to keep them clean and fast. So, in spite of all my past computer experience and getting the Mac's and PC's to talk and share files, printers, etc. - I made a mistake and messed up the permissions in a way I did not then know how to repair (I do now!).

Logged onto the Apple website, looking for an appointment with an Apple Genius . . . Pleasanton was completely booked, so looked west toward Palo Alto and got an appointment at the Stanford Shopping Center store. Took all my Firewire drives and Mac Mini in and they kept it overnight and fixed one external drive and the internal drive in the Mac Mini.

NO CHARGE - OUT OF WARRANTY FOR TWO YEARS AND NO CHARGE.

Picked up all the hardware, took it home and fixed one of my external drives. By now, I COULD have fixed them all with some net research, but a phone call and "NO problem WE will fix them ALL - NO CHARGE!!"

THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE THIS TO GET SERVICE FOR YOUR PC, RIGHT?? And NO CHARGE???

And to top it all off, I bought Snow Leopard for $29.00 !!! Apple DOES NOT SCREW IT'S CUSTOMERS BY SELLING CRIPPLED COPIES OF IT'S OPERATING SYSTEM LIKE MICROSOFT DOES. The WHOLE enchilada for $29.00. Bada Boom, DONE.
