One of the major reasons people hate going to get their oil changed is because of how bad the oil guy is gonna make you feel. But unlike the dentist who's just gonna tell you to floss more, oil guys are gonna try to sell you brake fluid and transmission dumps.

That was my usual experience until I found these guys. I know when I go in that I'll get some advice on certain things, but nothing like my previous experiences with other oil changers.

-They hand you a newspaper that you can promptly throw on the car floor while you play doodle jump on your Iphone

-They have cameras and monitors setup so you can watch them work. (your too busy with your high-score to even bother looking, but it's still cool)

-They check all your lights, washer fluid, etc, and top them off for you as part of the deal.

- It also doesn't hurt that I work in the building across the street

I grub hub this place once a month I think. It's the lazy treat. My reorder usually consists of: Spicy Tikka Masala, rice, samosa, and a random dish to top it off. I'm always annihilated afterward and can barely get up to put the left overs in the fridge.

I don't know if I'll ever go inside this joint (don't even know what it looks like). But I kinda like that. I just imagine that the delivery guy who always comes just cooks it inside his car with a hotplate hooked up to a car battery.

I don't know what happened, but they really fucked up the crab roll. The past three time's I've been there's been shell all over the place! At least I can still get a decent deadliest catch, but even that seems to have lost its luster.  I just don't know anymore

Awesome agency. You know your getting pixel perfect work, and you couldn't find a harder working crew in the entire city.

I haven't been in so long, but from what i remember the sandwiches are on par with Freddie's sandwiches in north beach.  Super tasty, big servings, and great service. One of the only reasons to go to west portal.

After 4 years here, I'm a little tainted, but I speak the truth.

When I applied, there was still a cap on the amount of people they accepted. You had to have some pretty decent art chops for them to even consider you. I remember getting the acceptance letter in high school and almost loosing my shit.

Now, anyone with money can get in. And that seems to be where their focus has shifted. Your money, and the best way to separate you from it.

The technology here is completely outdated. They use most of their budget towards getting more students packed into the already overcrowded buildings, instead of on teaching tools and upgrading.

They promised us a new building for 2 years. Instead they repainted the 4th floor, stuck a bunch of plasmas on the wall and called it a day.

The labs were always a mess. Dust all over the 3 year old PC's. Projectors hanging from the ceiling by one screw on a broken bracket. Entire sections of classroom ceilings missing. The display cases in the hallways literally, no joke had art in them from when I was looking to come to the school.

The internet connection was beyond horrible. It feels like the entire school is plugged into a couple 56k modems duct taped together. As an IMD student we spent the majority of our time watching load bars and basically imagining what the site would look like because the connection was THAT slow. Some of my classes like streaming media were just impossible.  Four years and nothing was ever done about it.

The one redeeming factor was the teachers. Many of the teachers here are amazing, and totally had a great impact on me and my learning. I just wish it wasn't at this school.

Don't waste your time or your money. Get a Lynda account. Work on your portfolio. Do your own spec work. Start a blog and get your name out. There's so many better options than this.

Either sit at the bartop, or take it to-go. You will hate eating here if you grab a table. It's that setup where people from different tables share the same booth seating. You could start talking about explosive diarrhea or something and get everyone around you to move or leave, but who's really gonna take it that far? Exactly.

OTHER than that, this place is amazing. I've never had a bad meal from here, and you can't go wrong with the sweet fries. Just take this back home for maximum dopeness.

Legend has it, that if you watch the employees eyes when the disco lights come on. You can sometimes catch a glimpse of a piece of their soul dying.

I was in here looking for a necklace for my fiancee and found one within, what felt like minutes. It was a retro looking necklace I knew she'd dig (she loves it), and it was a lot less then I expected it to be.

The girl working there was also really helpful and understanding of the massive hangover I was nursing from the night before. For the amount of pain I was in, my experience here was perfect.

I just don't wanna tell my fiancee where I got it, because it's my new

This place is a joke.

Pretty much a clown car filled with d-bags trying to get their dick into anything that walks. Awkward seating, with a randomly placed fireplace. The bartenders think that the horrible vodka tonic i just got deserves an applause and 12 bucks.

Just skip this crap.
