My dog has been going here for over two years now. He loves it, and they love him. It's like you're dropping your dog off to spend the day with good friends.

Tails R Waggin also offers grooming services and overnight/extended boarding.

Halftime Tavern

I've gone to the Halftime Tavern for both lunch and dinner and it's consistently good. The prime rib special is one of the best, and also makes for a great French Dip or Philly Sandwich. The Burgers (and portion sizes in general) are HUGE.

During lunch service, the wait is fairly short and the servers are very attentive. Dinner service can be hit or miss and it's a bit noisier at night.

The bar serves Fireball (and Jaeger) on chilled taps.

Huber's Cafe

This was my first visit to Huber's and it did not disappoint. We sat at a booth in the bar area. I am a huge fan of "holiday fare" and being unable to choose I got the "Half and Half", a dinner that featured both turkey and ham, with dressing, mashed potatoes and vegetables. It was delicious and tasted like it was lovingly home cooked. I wish the portion sizes were a bit larger. I still had room for dessert and ordered the hazelnut Brownie sundae.

My dinner companions ordered steaks (The Rib eye and the Filet), and thought they were excellent.

The service was a little on the slow side, but the atmosphere was pleasant and we were able to have a conversation without yelling across the table.

None of us ordered the Spanish Coffee that they are famous for, but we watched as several were prepared by the bartender tableside with a great amount of showmanship.

Dinner for 4 with drinks and dessert came to $150.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Loud and noisy sports bar, with mediocre food served slowly at ridiculous prices. They're just chicken wings, prepared the same but served with an overwhelming number of flavor choices. Other bars are able to do them cheap (and good!), so why not here?

The place wasn't crowded and there weren't any big games going on, yet it took forever to get served. The server was barely present.

Nothing really special going so I don't see what all the buzz is about. Maybe they were having an off day? I might give the place another try.

I hadn't been in a while, but the food quality has definitely gone down hill since my last visit here. I can't be 100% sure, but I think it was because there was 6 people sitting at the table and not the usual 2 or 3.

There may have been too much going on at once on the grill. The noodles were undercooked, the chicken came out OK, but the steak and lobster tail were very overcooked.

I have definitely had better tepanyaki where if the food wasn't the greatest you at least had the entertainment of it being prepared it front of you. The chef seemed a bit overwhelmed, and didn't even try to be entertaining.

For some odd reason this time, my clothes smell like the restaurant. I feel bad saying this, but I don't think we'll be going back.

This is one of my guilty lunchtime pleasures. It's a little pricey, but oh so good. If it's a nice day, my co-workers and I get out burger and fries and walk down the street to eat on the rocks in Waterfront Park.

I usually have to flip a coin to decide Fries or Onion rings. Both are very good.

I've only been to Screen Door for dinner, and apparently I am missing out.

Screen Door features large portions of all your southern comfort food favorites for dinner. The Hush Puppies are a delicious starter and you cannot go wrong with either the Boneless Fried Chicken or the Pulled Pork sandwich as your entree.

Be sure to check out their signature drink menu.

If you can show some restraint and box some of your meal to take home so you save room for dessert, you will truly be rewarded with the most delectable homemade pies and cakes you've ever tasted.

Great place. Small plates of very good food. A bit on the spendy side, especially if you're drinking from their vast list of Sake offerings. The servers can make great pairing suggestions.

The service can be hit or miss once it starts to get crowded. My experience has been you get better service inside as opposed to outside.

My favorite plates are the Kara-Age, Pork Belly, Crab & Pork fried rice and the Hanger Steak.

Vegan/Vegetarian friendly options are available.

Sushi Chiyo

Decent Sushi for a reasonable price. There are plenty on non-raw choices, so the "less adventurous" can also eat and enjoy.

They have a daily Sushi Happy Hour from 2:00-4:30 PM where all plates are $1.50 (Green plates $1.20). The chefs don't skimp during happy hour and there are plenty of the higher priced Red and Black plate offerings available at the discounted price. My favorites are the Peppered Tuna and the Volcano Roll.

The service is good, and both the chefs and servers are very attentive.

Update - 7/18/2010
Not sure what happened, but this place has changed for the worse. Food quality and portion size have decreased. Perhaps they're a victim of a sluggish economy?

No Rules, just right! I've been going to this particular Outback for years. The menu seems to change a little bit every time I go. While I usually come in ready for the the seasoned steaks or king cut prime rib, I sometimes change my mind and order a bunch of appetizers for dinner. I love the Lobester-crab cakes, coconut shrimp, cheese fries and the Bloomin Onion (although, not all at once).

Lunch is nice. I usually get the prime rib sandwich.

For better service, try to grab open seating in the bar area. It's also VERY busy Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. You can call ahead for seating and get about a 30 minute advantage over someone just walking in the door.
