I've been waiting and waiting to fix my dryer because I wanted to find a reputable service place to call on for help. Well after searching on Yelp and finding such great reviews, I called on Friday afternoon, got an appointment for Monday morning in the 8-10 am window, and by 8:41 am on Monday morning, my dryer is now fixed.

Carlos was very professional, efficient, friendly and fast! He explained what had gone wrong and potential reasons why, fixed the dryer and that was that. Highly recommend, I'd do business with him again in the future in a heartbeat. Thanks Carlos!!

I've hired Rick to do a number of projects in my Victorian home and have been delighted with his work. Rick is communicative, good and patient at explaining issues and project scope, and is reliable and on time.

Rick came highly recommended from a cabinet designer maker I was using for a project because she had worked with Rick on previous projects. I've now referred him to friends of mine as well.

Overall, I highly recommend Rick - I think he does excellent quality work, is easy going and comfortable to work with, and really knows his stuff! He's installed outlets, new fixtures, and fixed fixtures in my house for me and I'll continue to use him for all of my projects moving forward!

I worked with Amy at Case and Space to design and build a built-in media cabinet in the living room of our Victorian home. She was recommended by Cole Hardware and was super professional in working through all the details of the design with us - from initial design mockups through to completion.

She was great at documenting every detail of the project in a specification document and was fast at turning around updates and feedback to us to keep the project on track. Amy was quick to respond to questions and also addressed all of my questions and concerns along the way without making me feel "silly" to ask questions. The project bid was reasonable and competitive and I feel we got great value and great quality! I had a great experience working with Amy and would work with her again.

Everyone who walks into our home comments now on the beautiful built-in media cabinet in our living room - it's quite the focal point and is very high quality.

Wow - thanks Planet Saab - they totally saved my butt (actually they saved my car's butt) again! After all this rain we've been having, I discovered that my front driver's side carpets had turned to a mini pool - apparently the car had sprung a leak and was letting in all that rain = UGH! The second I realized what was happening, I drove straight to Planet Saab and despite the fact that they didn't have time to work on my car that day, William came out and spent 15 minutes looking it over with me - he did a few tests to help identify where the leak was coming from. The next day I dropped off the car and it was fixed and leak-free less than 8 hours later.

This is the 2nd time I've been to Planet Saab - these guys are great! Talk about attention to detail and personal service, William even remembered the name of my baby and asked how he was doing when he called to tell me the car was ready! It's amazing to have a car mechanic shop that you can actually trust. I feel like my next car should be a Saab just so I can keep taking it here for business!

I'm so excited to have finally tried Chenery Park - I feel like I had been reading reviews about this place forever and it TOTALLY lived up to its reviews! The service was terrific, the ambiance was nice and I love the little "tucked into a cute neighborhood" feel.

We had the winter salad with walnuts, figs and blue cheese - it was delicious and easy to split between 2 people. We also shared the goat cheese and beet ravioli appetizer which was very interesting and tasty as well.

The salmon entree was amazing - perfectly cooked ... and served over a bed of mashed potatoes and perfect brussel sprouts - it was so... darn... tasty!!!  And last but not least, the pear-blueberry crumble dessert with vanilla ice cream was delish!

Highly recommend as a reliable but chill night out for dinner with friends!

Like others have already mentioned, Dr. Simons left Dr. Langston's practice just recently and abruptly - the reason it was so abrupt, according to the emails I read on the Golden Gate Mother's Group email list, was because he gave two weeks notice to Dr. Langston and was shown the door immediately.

Regardless, this review is about Dr. Simons - Dr. Simons has been our baby's pediatrician since his birth. He has a wonderful bedside manner and I've consistently found him to be smart, approachable, knowledgable and completely "up" on the latest thinking and research around issues like vaccinations and immunizations (which as you probably know is a hot topic these days). BUT better yet - he clearly cares for our son and helps guide us through tough decisions like when it's the appropriate time to bring baby on an airplane, etc... I'll always hear him say "well if he was my son, I would do XYZ..." - so he's not pushy but he will give you an opinion.  

He remembers us by name and listens to our questions and concerns and will spend the amount of time needed to properly and thoroughly answer our questions and as first time parents, I've found that this is critical to helping my husband and I build our confidence in ourselves as we learn how to be good parents. And he's very quick to return a phone call whenever we have a question, i never feel that he's "too busy" for me!

We were at his new office on Sacramento St last week - it's awesome!! It's painted all types of bright colors and decorated in a way that any child will love... there are trains that ring around the walls!! in addition, there is a sick kid entrance & waiting area that's separate from a well kid entrance & waiting area. It truly feels like a cheery place to take your child. And he now has a lactation specialist there named Christine as well in addition to a room for breastfeeding and a diaper changing table... I wish this was available at the old office when my son was first born - this is AMAZING for new moms!

Overall, I'm completely happy with Dr. Simons and thrilled that he's our son's pediatrician and we trust him completely to advise with our most precious possession... our little baby.

I love Scribbledoodles - it's my "happy place" and one of my favorite places to shop in Noe - I often stop in just to see their latest items, they have the greatest, most fun, unique gifts that are great for kids and adults! Their employees are super friendly and helpful as well.

In addition, they have an amazing selection of cards as well... looking for political humor cards? San Francisco humor? They've got it!

My favorite is Jake, the store "dog" - he's a great old yellow labrador retriever who's usually hanging out by the front door welcoming you in and if you have a dog yourself, the store is dog friendly and will often give your dog a free biscuit (all the neighborhood dogs seem to know this as well as you'll always find them dragging their owners in here on their walks... it's pretty funny to see).

I give Accent on Flowers 4 stars!! What a great local florist shop in the middle of 24th street in Noe Valley - so cute! This isn't a "fancy" flower shop, it's just a very nice store full of beautiful arrangements and great smelling flowers.

The owners are super friendly and all the flowers I've purchased here are lovely and keep for a very long time. We've purchased cut flowers from many of the local florists in Noe but those from Accent on Flowers seem to be the freshest and last the longest. Highly recommend!

It's great to have a very high quality local restaurant in Rockville Centre like this - the food prices are very reasonable and the quality is excellent. This is the type of restaurant that I'd expect to see in Manhattan but is conveniently located in RVC!!

Food - the fish is delicious - everything we had was very good. I had grilled medium rare Yellowfin Tuna cooked and seasoned lightly to perfection. They have a big selection of foods for the wood fire grill from steak to 5 different varieties of fish. The fish tacos looked good and seemed to be popular, I saw a number of folks eating them. Dessert was delish, my sister and I split the fresh berries broiled with creme fraiche and the berries melted in our mouths! Wine selection was average but all were pretty reasonable, on a hot summer Saturday evening, we had a Sauvignon Blanc from Chile that was reasonable followed by a Finger Lakes NY Wiemer Riesling which was tasty.

Ambiance - The decor is very cool - funky and comfy but modern and cool - it's the type of place where you can wear jeans and flip flops or be dressier if you like, but fancy attire is *not* required. They have a big screen TV for sports fans to sit and eat at the bar.

Overall, very good service and a really nice way to celebrate our parents' wedding anniversary and a great evening was enjoyed by all!
