The Burger Joint
Category: American (Traditional)
This was a great little burger joint, as the name suggests. When visiting a new place, I always try and order their signature dish. That turned out to be the cheeseburger. I made it a basket, adding fries and a drink, for $2 bringing the total to $5.92 after tax.
The place has a very small town diner feel to it. I got the since it was being run by a local woman with the help of a couple relatives. She takes the orders while the boys work the kitchen.
The menu varies from the traditional fare of burgers and fries to tacos and burritos. They also do breakfast which I will probably try to pick up sometime.
Overall, the food was fair. The burger was pretty straight forward while the fries were a little under cooked.

I love Irish pubs and…
Date

I haven't eaten there since it changed ownership and name but the beer and ambiance are still excellent. They frequently have live music, especially on the weekends, that is pretty good. Usually a one or two guys doing covers. It is usually not crowded until late, and even then, not bad at all.
If you live out south on the Kansas side and like Irish pubs, I highly recommend this place.
