I went with the Machaca: shredded beef, scrambled egg, and tomato. It's a truly amazing burrito. However, it used to be better. The meat was just a little bit drier, and the flavor was just a little more dull than usual.
How can I write a review like this and still give it 4 stars? All of these complaints are only in comparison to itself. Compare it to most other burrito places and it blows them out of the water still.
Try La Bonita, two doors to the right, they don't disappoint.

*Meat is excellent quality.
*Lots of good ingredients.
*Really good tortilla.
*Pretty good menu selection.
*Really nice decor compared to similar burrito-houses.
Cons:
*Slightly smaller than burritos at similar establishments.
*Slightly pricier too. ($5.50-$6 for meat burrito. Cheaper, [maybe $3-4?] if you're an herbivore)
Not really much else to say. The above comparisons are made mostly with respect to La Sirenita, which is about 2 doors down. Delicious!!!

Their tacos and enchiladas are good, but nothing special. The chile relleno definitely wins; lots of melty cheese, and the chile has some bite to it without being overpowering. The tamale is on the small side, but the ground corn is nice and tender.
We had three orders of the guacamole, 2 regular and 1 spicy. Definitely go with the spicy. It's not that bad, and gives it some flavor which the regular is lacking. They go pretty heavy on the lime, so unless you like it extra limy, tell them to hold off a bit.
It was a birthday dinner, and they brought me what I believe was their dulce de leche flan. I'm normally not that big of a flan fan, but this was very rich and flavorful.

There is an exception to this however. The Copper River Salmon (you can find it on the purple $3 plate) is AMAZING.

I miss the place downtown on Burnside which had the model train pulling sushi around the store, but sushi off of a conveyor belt is an adequately fun replacement.

My two favorite are the BLT+T (the extra T is turkey) and the chicken teriyaki. I was feeling gluttonous and had a 14" and 7", and it was a spectacular meal. You can normally feel full on a 10" or 14" depending on how you eat.

Service and decor were both awesome. We had the waffle with gelato for dessert, which was really good; the almond gelato tasted great, and the waffle must have been freshly made because it was also verrry good.

My girlfriend's pork with vermicelli dish; good, but you guessed it, too dry.

The chocolate chip crepe was great, but they didn't cook it fresh, despite having crepe griddles readily available.
The place could use some work, but there's potential.

Main dish: No major complaints, but nothing special.
Rice: It was too dry for my taste. You have the option of going with fried rice or white, but I usually go for white, because I'm afraid of getting too much onion.
Egg Roll: Awful; I couldn't eat more than two bites of it. I can't pinpoint why; it was too fried, and the flavor didn't do it for me.
Overall, it's your typical low-end Chinese takeout, but you'd be better off avoiding the egg rolls, and making your own rice if you're not too lazy.

I had the 'Moneyball' - biscuits and gravy (your choice, sausage or mushroom; I went with the sausage) and a fried egg. It costs $2 more ($7 vs. $5) than just the regular biscuits and gravy, and I'd probably skip the egg next time. My girlfriend had a Reggie; fried chicken and cheese on a biscuit, with gravy.
The biscuits are so nice and moist, and the chicken was nice and tender. The sausage gravy was so mouth-wateringly good...
The coffee they serve is fantastic, and the sweet iced tea was good as well, considering that I usually don't like iced tea. The only complaint is the small seating, so be prepared to take your food to go, or wait around for a seat.
