After passing by Reza's in River North, my wife needed a taste of some Mediterranean food. I heard this place opened up and I stopped in on the way home.

Highlights:
Grilled Octopus
Gyro plate

We ordered some other chicken dishes, but I didn't take a bite. I'm definitely supporting this business since we need more variety like this in the hood.

My wife was raving about the Dates with Bacon appetizer that she almost popped her baklava.

Salty ass grisle. I stayed away from the unusually hard Bourbon Chicken and got some Spicy Thai Chicken and Beef with Green Peppers.

For $7, beef was low grade and cooked poorly since I bit into hard fat pieces. Spicy Thai was super salty (yes, I even took a quick sample and that piece tasted ok).

I kicked myself for stopping there.

Food is sub-standard. I've gone three times and the wings were all over the map in taste.

Also, tilted kilts are not the attraction, but they couldn't call it Shrunken Brassiere.

It's a regular Walgreens. I use it mainly to park when I need to pick up some quick takeout in New Chinatown. There is a sense that they will tow so do your non-Walgreens business quickly.

I can't complain about the food. Stuff looks pretty fresh due to the solid lunch traffic.

Now, the owner always tries to upsell the meal deal when I'm paying. He gives me that look like I'm robbing him by only getting a $5 footlong.

This is strictly reviewing the IMAX screen. For the non-IMAX stuff, it's a same ole' suburban AMC. Reliable and clean.

As for the IMAX Screen, it felt smaller than the Navy Pier one. I bet it is, but I didn't Google this fact. It was our last option to watch Avatar in 3D since three other IMAX theaters were sold out.

The highlight of the place was the sound. Amazing especially since we sat in the middle of the theater.

The meat was suprisingly better than some places downtown. For example, their chicken options blew away brazzaz's equivalents.

Now, the salad bar was disappointing, but again, I am spoiled by the likes of Fogo or ZED451. They at least had rice and higher end stuff like artichoke hearts.

A great option for some meat out in the burbs since the price is right.

After going to both a bunch of times, I feel the food is a tad bit better at the Chinatown location, but at least the bubble tea is still consistent.

Bonus tips:
A good option is extra tapioca. A nice double scoop of balls that you can ration when you enjoy the whole drink.

If you like Halo-Halo, a Filipino dessert, then try out the coconut / jackfruit combo. Damn good.

This place is growing on me for the sheer fact that it isn't busy. Park illegally outside and make a quick Boba order. Their menu is more mainstream and the guy suggested to go to the Chinatown location for the more ethnic choices. (e.g. salt and pepper prawns are not on the menu)

My only complaint so far is their skill with the ordering system. I've been there 4 times already and the guy at the counter acts like he's taking the SAT on the toilet. I assume there will be improvement in the future. :)

Definitely a place to supplement my grocery runs at Dominick's and Jewel.

The prepared foods rock. Rib tips and the chicken wings are my fave. They aren't that pricey considering they are ready to go and healthier looking.

Also, get some Bubbies Mochi in the frozen section. Damn pricey, but so many flavors (e.g. pistachio, lychee, passionfruit).
