AWESOME! Job well done! Bravo Yelp Team! A free event in a unique location with great food, bartenders letting you have double drinks, chocolate and sweets, wine, ethnic scrumptious bites! Fabulous! I love that the elite hour was well organized; almost no waiting, helpful staff, great layout, enough room to exist. I loved the venue as well. Images from my childhood came rushing back on the ambulance and making a corn husk doll. Live music....really, can't ask for anything more! Thanks so much YELP! I'm a HUGE fan....even more so if thats even possible!

If I was a lion I would lick my chops, a cat; purrr, a horse hhhmmmmmhhhmmm, and likely since I'm human my pupils were dialated while this tower of a sandwich per my choosing was created. I went back, its been years, for an "As You Like It" and it was as good as I remember. Sourdough, the best pesto aoili around, with all the veggies (they were out of cucumber boo!) I wanted. $0.10 cheaper than it used to be but even with no meat two slices of cheese calls for an extra charge (substituting was no additional cost before). Even still it was awesome...bite after bite of fresh bliss on a stool facing the street window...nostalgia has got me yet again.

When I was a student at SJSU, i always went for "as you like it." Yummy pesto aoili, hummus..all the veg topping you want. The soups are always goodness in a bowl too. Now that I'm not at SJSU anymore, I do crave it but I am not willing to deal with the parking issue. last time I checked, they didn't take cards....lame!

YOU GOT RID OF YOUR BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP!!!! NO GOOD CHILIS, NO GOOD! It was the best I have ever found, on a food pedestal really and now I am gravely disappointed!

When you go here as much as I have (grew up on it) you know what you are getting into. Its a chain but usually I leave satisfied. Broccoli Cheese soup...wonderful thick, cheesy, and flavorful! Fajitas...the best around. Beef with just onions no bell peppers (they ruin the seasoning big time). They have the ideal toppings and good ranch too! Homestyle fries...goodness too. Cheesteak sandwich...I like it better on pita...always good the next day too. Their chocolate shakes are thick and creamy, order extra sprinkles...its just better that way. They have an assortment of alcoholic beverages and it is suitable for little kiddos, a coloring packet to work on....actually got them far beyond my young years. They always have something new to try if you don't have standby favorites as I do.

I got to try the Sweedish pancakes...but... "meh, I've experienced better" pretty much sums up my experience. There was hardly any fruit to speak of and it was really plain. I was offered extra butter and that didn't cut it at all. While I appreciated the texture of the sliced almonds and thin pancakes...the plate was boring and realistically IHOP does it WAY better. The serving was of 3 pancakes but there was no option for a combo with eggs or meat. My mom commented "I'd be disappointed if I just got that," took pity and shared her omelet with me. Speaking of which....she didn't exactly like the homestyle potatoes and felt her omelet eggs were just a bit too fluffy. The marble rye toast though...at hit! And, high five for a good supply ob blackberry jam on the table!
Its a sturdy breakfast place...but not the gem I hoped.

Where do you go for a hangover cure when you've grown to label Denny's so passe? Or where do you go to be happily overwhelmed by choices for the morning, lunch or brunch meal? Cafe San Jose was a new found delight for me and my accomplice on NYD...pleasantly open on the first day of the year. I decided to test the place based on their omelets: Bacon, cheddar and mushroom. Delish, huge and hearty. The cheese is folded in rather than included in an egg type blanket. The hashbrowns were crispy on the outside, but mush in the center...not sure why. My friend got the veg omelet and was too pleased and satisfied. Good sourdough bread, blackberry jam at the table, just Tabasco though no pepperplant, good service and reasonable prices. Its cozy, local diner-ish, scrumptious-ness. I am looking forward to the banana nut pancakes and the SWEDISH Pancakes! Finally IHOP has some competition!

I had a collection of clothes that were in new or good condition from my dancing years that I no longer used. I wanted to find a good home to donate them. (reduce, reuse!) I contacted the owner and she was open and excited for my donation. I dropped them off and I am pleased with the atmosphere and space. It seems like a strong local studio.

A neon beacon of light as your are walking through SR...and its Pinkberry. Another yogurt place for those of us that are looking for that something special...you might find it here. Its clean and new with a variety of toppings and not self serve.
I was a newcomer and the servers let me know you can have as much toppings that fit in your cup....oooo, except, I didn't want toppings.
I got to try the pomegranate...unfortunately it is only a seasonal flavor...fresh, tart, and firm...not artificial tasting. But next time I come, it might not be there, boo!
the chocolate was scrumptious, decadent, really dark with an intense coca flavor.
-1 star because any other flavor besides tart is $1 extra....so odd. And, she left room for toppings even though I didn't want any!

The decor is a lot like a fraiche mixed with yogurtland, and the pour and top your own is familiar as well. They seem to have classic and inventive flavors: red velvet cake, blueberry, tart, vanilla and choc. I tried the peanut butter, the taste was good but I would have liked a firmer texture. Almond seemed like it was a good idea but it was sour and disgusting. At $0.38 cents an ounce, it does not beat the competition in value but its an okay place to indulge.

Yes, I am a fan of over indulgent lunch buffets found here! New and remodled...looking good with all your giant tv's! An array of pizza, twists and a complete salad bar...yum to the max! Lunch for 2 under $20 not the cheapest..but a high yum standard is set. Something about the twists (parmesan and cinnamon alike) is mildly addicting...sun flower seeds, eggs, cheese and bacon at the bar...yesss! Veg and hawaiian are my fav...out fresh!
There is even a play place but after eating here...I was too stuffed to play!

I usually boycott those people, orgs, and businesses that are 'yes on 8' but when you're in the east bay...there's no cameras...boo hoo! I found myself here in this monstrosity. Typical busy century and parking lot, overpriced, no student option, (but a 6.75 option for the first showing of the day!). Surprisingly, their bulk candy was fresh!

**Must write digestive tract a sincere apology for participating in consumption here!**
Why oh why did I choose to cure my craving of warm and salty here?? Well I did, and I don't have a lot of regrets but this experience I have learned from..never again!
Its ethnic fast food, what did I expect? Well the Lumpia is nothing to speak of and the burger...oh yuck! The best part...the pineapple (ordered) on the side. Just writing about this makes me cringe!
