Just to keep things current. I have been contacted by 2 other people on this site about the same exact fraud that was committed to me. This is a bad person who does this over and over again. It is a specifically heinous because it hurts the feelings and dreams of little girls. There is an investigation ongoing in the local police dept near D'Gray Couture. and if anyone else would like to jump on the bandwagon we can stop her for good from hurting other families.
Here is the messages I got from others on Yelp. Names removed and changed in (fake).
My name is (Jane), I live in (a sunny place), I am in your same position. In order to file a fraud complaint to the Milwaukee authorities I need another victim with me. What do you think? I am outraged. She promised to have my daughters first communion dress to me just days before her Communion ceremony and my daughter was left with nothing. I called for 2 months before hand to ensure delivery and still I was left with nothing. I paid $xxx.00 and received nothing. Unfortunately I ordered a First Communion dress on (Month and date). Needless to say, it was never delivered. I have come to the realization that I'll never get my money back.
I am a DRE (DIrector of Religious Education) at our local parish and I intend to write to every Catholic diocese in the U.S. to warn parents about this fraudulent business.
Thank you for your post. I just wish I'd seen it before I ordered.

*** WARNING***FRAUD*** SCAM***
2 Months after Joyce Gray took our order and our money she still never delivered the custom dress as she repeatedly promised. After feeling like she was not going to make our arranged deadline, I did some checking. This company has been out of good standing with their corporation for years. Also the woman Joyce has many personal bankruptcies as well as liens. I told her I would love to give her a chance. She then told me mid week that she would ship the dress as she promised. After many emails since then she now has another excuse that the dress will not ship today. My belief is that this was a advance fee fraud from the start. The website says immediate delivery and here is another part of the site.
* Average lead time to get a dress is 1 day to 4 weeks depending upon the time of the year. We do rush orders most times of the year. Please contact us for details.
Well it's been over 2 months and after a month of total silence we have nothing but unfulfilled promises and a very disappointed young girl.
Stay away! Stay far away! Look at my other reviews, I do not slam people or businesses. This was truly disappointing and wrong. Shame on you Joyce.

A true dive bar! I love it.
The place is thick with old bras and yellowing business cards. We like to call people from there when we find their cards on the wall. Just to tell them that we miss them. lol.
I brought my son inside during the day to show him the tombstone next to the tree trunk inside near the bar. People I know who have been there many times never knew this was even there. I get cool dad points from my kid but I would not suggest doing this after 12:00 noon.
Make sure you keep the tourist cups. They last forever and get really worn after a few runs in the dishwasher.

The most professional business I ever experianced in the keys! They show up on time and do a great job for the money. I told the old and new owner that they are the "Only business in the Keys that I would recommend to a friend"

MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Department of Justice has filed a consumer protection enforcement action against Joyce D. Gray, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, alleging that she failed to deliver merchandise ordered through her internet-based business. The case, which was referred to the Department of Justice by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP), seeks forfeitures, injunctive relief and restitution for affected consumers.
According to the complaint, Gray, owner and manager of Christian D' Gray Fashion Design, Inc., has used the internet website http://www.myflowergir... to solicit orders for made-to-order special occasion dresses. Gray has done business under a variety of names, including Christian D' Gray Fashion Design, Inc., Christian D' Gray Couture, and Flower Girl Dresses by Christian D' Gray.
The complaint alleges that Gray sold custom-made dresses for special occasions, promising prompt delivery and requiring payment in advance. However, the state alleges that Gray repeatedly failed to deliver purchased items or to refund customers' payments, and also falsely told some customers that their dresses had been shipped, when, in fact, that was not the case.
In response to consumer complaints, in 2008 DATCP issued a Special Order against Gray requiring Gray to clearly state the estimated delivery date and to either ship the goods or provide a full refund by the delivery date prohibiting unfair practices. According to the complaint, Gray has repeatedly violated the Special Order by failing to deliver products in a timely fashion and by failing to provide refunds.
Each violation of the Special Order carries a fine between $25 and $5,000 and a civil forfeiture between $100 and $10,000. In addition, Gray can be required to provide restitution to injured consumers.
The case has been assigned to Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Mel Flanagan, and is being prosecuted by Assistant Attorney General John Greene, with investigative assistance provided by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.
