One of the few not outrageously priced stores in the area. On a rainy Saturday, Leshana, who works there, was both helpful and fun to my friend and I. She absolutely lifted our sipirts on a rainy day. I had to have a dress shipped from another store- when that store failed to ship on time- she got me my dress overnighted and saved the day.

As nice & helpful as the esthecian was i spent a little over $300  to do laser hair removal on my bikini area and she missed 25% of it. When I called& emailed in regards to how to schedule a touch up the owner completely missed the point of making good on their work.

Honestly: it'd be 2 stars if the place had been open for 3 months. But since it hasn't even been open for a month and there were no serious mistakes made. Everything could have been a little smoother service wise. But actually, for LA service, it's excellent.  It's not so much tapas, but tastings... at applebee entree prices. Which is a total faux pas in the industry if you don't even have table cloth. But they were generous with their herbs the way WhIte Lotus was with the truffle oil. And that right there tells me this place will be a hit.

The furniture was swedish low, the waitstaff, of course- beautiful, it's actually a legit LA scene on Sunset on Sat. Sorry, OC.  Not a destination spot- but not a bad place to end up.

Welcome to a whole different kind of padding.

You drive around a golf cart holding your unloaded rifle to approximately 20 stands and shoot two clay biodegradable skeet that are released in unison. Why they aren't called gun carts, I don't know. 40 minutes outside of Vegas is a  whole other kind of country club. Everyone gets real polite because everyone packs heat here. You wear goggles and ear plugs, but all your sense tingle in the intense Vegas sun as you smell the burnt gun powder, feel the power of your gun's hollow barrel  in your extended arm, leaning your cheek to prevent a kick, through the foam you hear that crack that happens 0.05 seconds after your finger pulls the trigger while you were cradling your baby the whole time.  And she's still hungry.

See it now. Miss out, and you'll just keep thinking a subscription to the Economist and Utne Reader will keep you informed. This is responsible entertainment, a one man show with tons of incredible character that intertwine in a way to propel you to smash yourself into what should have been a foregone conclusion: this isn't just about oil. It's about what one group of people removed from their ancient roots will do to get what's in the ground of their point of origin. You'd be surprised whose doing the digging.

Ambience like this isn't often done: rustic cottage & high end French decor. Owners don't want to bother, patrons don't want to make the time to apprecite it, designer miss and it either ends up guady or looking worn before it's time. But when done right, "Wow" factor kicks in. And the fact it's in Mill Valley kind of makes it a even more special. Akin to the Sent Sovi of Saratoga.

Our waiter was sweet and personable along with being completely Michelin approved. I keep thinking back to the avacado ice cream that was part of my 1st app, the foie gras that was in this bitter espresso reduction. The meat: encrusted lamb, the French vs of cocaine. After four course of this I started to see the point of nice stationary vs text messages. And I would suggest you take someone here to show that you wanted to do something special that you wanted to make the effort to appreciate them.

* I went post management change so I would say any kinkds they had have just made them stronger.

I swear the only reason I am obsessed with this place is because I want to introduce the best of South Indian cuisine to all my friends. It's a good thing. The only shame is I don't roll here with a larger group so we can try more dishes. I hear everything is amazing but I can't seem to expand past the app of lentil dumplings and yougurt, chile & corriander dosa, shrimp curry, and the incredible beer selection. And they bring you these chips... I want a 10 lb bag of those chips. But only as a present to a special friend. It's a good thing. Once you try these dishes you might stick with them too! It's really a beautiful spot, feels like the real deal and has incredible service. The staff must be getting at those chips.

Such terrible service my friend and I have never experienced! I went in there 2 minutes after they closed and asked if I could buy one of the remaining 5 cakes. This blond woman said no in the rudest way, that I pretty much wrote her off as a horrible person. Then I thought about the fact that I made a special trip there to get a cake for someone from out of town. So I asked someone else working the counter. Who though agreed made me feel guilty about it. Her exact words whine, "Okay, but I have a lot of work to do." Like I was asking her to smuggle drugs. Then the very rude blond woman made a dash back to bitch me out for asking again for a cake. She works in a bakery and she's bitching me out for spending $40 on a cake.

Blond woman's name is Leslie. I've never been one to try to use Yelp as a forum to ask for a business to be out of business but in this case lets seriously consider it. Minus the fact that I went out of my way to go there, lets just say I went into a bakery and wanted to buy a cake and I get assaulted for it. Does their management really having nothing to do with this. Could they have not hired at least (1) person that at the very least can do a transaction without a back story. Let alone be vile without doing the transaction. Twice? All signs seem to point that these people are just cashing in on their name and they do not appreciate those that patron them. Your money is better spent elsewhere. Please save yourself the trouble of having your day& night absolutely ruined. You buy sweets to celebrate something small to big and they try really hard to be mean and dash that from you.

Update: I called them Tartine to tell them what happened and left a msg. No one has bothered to call me back to just apologize.
