been here twice and both times i had a wonderful time. the only thing that bothered me was the horribly over priced drinks. they pull you in with the atmosphere, entertainment and food - which were all great but then ream you with the drinks.

had the worst diner experience here. i almost never send my food back, but i sent my food back 3 times before canceling order. the 2nd time i sent it back the waiter didnt say anything, he just grabbed the plate and laughed as if there was some joke we were not privy to. they dont understand the difference between cooked and not cooked eggs. after having 4 plates put in front of me not one of the omelets had been cooked thoroughly. im not sure how many different ways to say "cooked thoroughly". i tried, "no slime", "cooked all the way", "there is still raw egg", "i dont want raw egg in it", "cooked thoroughly", "maybe i should order something else", etc..

i complained to the owner and she just scowled at the cooks and said "i know".

btw, my wife and i found a great diner down the road in west portal called manor cafe, which we have been regulars at ever since. the one draw back is they take cash only.

the beer selection is definitely the best thing about kennedys.
