Ghost Chili Mexican Grill

I love this place.  They take a chance in putting some spicy in what they make for you.  Everything is fresh, I usually get whats coming right off the grill and make them try to hurt me with the hot stuff added in.  They have some good flavors, like habanero shells, cilantro lime rice and jalapeno pico.   For the record, I completed their Ghost Pepper Burrito Challenge, a very psychoactive and euphoric experience; My pictures on the wall and they give you a shirt.  Support this place, its relatively new and not in the best location for an upstart.  Go and try it.

Though I'd found myself here from time to time, I 'd never considered myself a regular patron until about two years ago when my crew and I started making our way down there for collective beer runs and stocking up shopping. . . After some regular contact, I now feel I can realistically write up the Bellport Cold Beer and Soda with an honest and insightful Yelp Review.  They remain the local purveyor to visit to help enrich your life and potentiate your appreciations for the tasty beverages.  I have since been happy to attend two of Bellport Dave's annual Beer Events to sample the foodstuffs and local craft beers of the area and consider him an area expert in whats going on in the scene.  He takes good care of the people and knows most of his customers by name.  Stop in. . .

Bellport Cold Beer & Soda I do recommended as the local purveyor to visit to help enrich your life and potentiate your appreciations for the tasty beverages. The bottle selection is killer and staff could help you with pointing you to try something new, or mixing up potluck sixer. They also have a number of taps with growlers to go, or bring in your own for a refill. I got a jug of Dogfish Heads Red and White Wit beer ($26) we paired with one of Sierra Nevada Bigfoot; together they smashed three dudes in my kitchen.  Also picked up a jug of Magic Hat Odd Notion 100 IPA ($10) which is hitting the spot tonight, light, tasty and a purported rarity.  Good place to go to, people of Yelp.

Precious Lamb Day Care

I am and have been happy with the services PLDC offers to my child.  The staff is always helpful and I have never felt that m child, or any other child, was in danger or neglected while in their care.
In fact, Miss B (Beatrice) and Mimi (Marjorie) have always been kind and loving to the children.  My kid enjoys going to daycare and comes home excited about the activities, songs, and happenings of the day.  When I leave in the morning and return each afternoon I truly get the feeling that my kid is not just taken care of, but loved and cherished.

Aside from all of the activities and interaction during the day, Marjorie goes above and beyond to create a sense of community among the parents.  In December my husband and I, along with over twenty other parents and staff members attended a holiday dinner hosted by Marjorie and her husband Ricky.  They also host a special family day each year.  Parents and grandparents are invited to spend a few hours with the staff and the children.  There is food, arts & crafts, activities, and lots of pictures.  Events like these foster a sense of community and family that I know through many conversations is very important to Marjorie.  It also allows the parents to connect and get to know one another.  I do not know of any other daycare that does these things.
To conclude, I feel Precious Lambs Daycare is a safe and nurturing place.  I would not leave my only child there if I did not believe in Marjorie or the staff.  If you need to contact me to answer any questions please feel free to message me.

A great old school market in a residential neighborhood.  You know you want a shot at the Mega with your breakfast sanguich, and you ain't gonna get that at no Blue Moon Deli.  Total local flavor.

Great DDS I had at one time.  Always good to me until they stopped taking my insurance. . . unfortunately, our relationship had to end there.  I didn't have too many problems dentally but had good experiences here I can speak highly of them.  The hygienist, Kelly, is great.

Canz a Citi Roadhouse

Canz a Citi is the third venture in a local chain.  It recently opened on the site of the old South Shore Restaurant http://www.yelp.com/bi....  They put a lot of money into this place and it feels structured and chainy. . .  Anyway, Canz was packed at prime time and you couldn't get near the bar.  Servers were too busy to notice us for a while and wound up making smalltalk with the bouncers: The crowd was what could be expected.
Beer selection here is extensive. . . definitely something for everyone, but the focus is on corporation mass appeal.  They have nightly specials, if that's what you want to drink.  If you want craft, you can't touch Bobbique http://www.yelp.com/bi... for rotation of taps and rarities. . . Canz is aimed at the sports crowd. . . crack a Labatts and catch some UFC!  I'll be back, I'm sure, they're open till 4am!

This review for the Sinai Reform Temple is strictly for the Banquet Hall, a great room available for the renting.  For a party, it delivers fine acoustics for your PA and drums, though the bright-but-not-fluorescent lighting may be a little less than may be desired.  A decent outdoor patio for the smokers and low profile photo ops, I had a great time at a recent (non hebrew) function here and thought it to be a good find.

A good neighborhood place I'd been to, if you like a short, old school buzz or trim, such as a "Facon," "Caesar", or "Butch."   Two immigrant brothers (Sal and Sam?) who have been cutting hair here for a long time, though they recently remodeled the shop.  Not exactly my style, but they do it up well enough if this is your thing.
The guys are sure friendly and are usually good for a wave if your waiting at the traffic light.

Creative Upholsterers is no longer here as the building was torn down, but Ralph (the proprietor) still works locally and came out for a house call estimate, with pick up and drop off service.  He did great work on the job we commissioned him for, a mismatched chair and ottoman.  Price was right, all things considered.  Woohoo! As good as it gets!

Robotic staff and service I have found here for dine-in but I like Sumou Japanese for a takeout meal.  Patchogue, Lobster Tempura, Hurricane, and American Dream rolls are all standouts. . . Halloween and 2011 rolls worth checking out as well from The 'Special Roll' list which goes on and on with cool names and combinations.  High Life only is how I do it up when I order here.  Southeast Asian, hibachi, and Thai dishes on the menu too to round out your plates.
Shout out to Alphonse's review for the history lesson on the building, great review.
