I was in the area recently and saw they'll make a whole wheat pie here for people who may be looking for that kind of thing. . . Just sayin'.

I've had the catering from this place a few times, and know people who travel a good way for the food here.  Its a storefront place in the Tick Tock Shopping Center.  I recently stopped in to check out the pizza, which was decent.  Decor has a clean designer feel ala the Expo Center, featuring some nice ceramic tilework on the floors and counters, glass details, hand-blown accent lighting, & a wall mural of a still-life w/ wine bottles . . . very modern, though apparently this place has quite a history (rumored to formerly have an Indiana Jones pinball machine in the corner).   Chefs displays its varieties of slices (Sicilian, stuffed, margarita, grandma's? & broccoli and Cheddar slice?) and rolls (pinwheels, & rolls stuffed w/ sausage, pepperoni, spinach and ricotta) in sneezeguard-glass showcase, keeping the regular Neapolitan slice out of sight. . .  maybe next time, I'll get to it, if I don't succumb to impulse.
Vegetarians beware, I don't know why, but there's ham in that eggplant rollatini.

Robert Moses State Park is great. . . There's a lighthouse (http://www.yelp.c...), you can surf, sunbathe, and even go naked in field five. Lots of beach and fun potential here, and the Robert Moses Causeway is pleasant for the easy destination riding to get there.

Yes, they do it good here, eggiweggs and the like, I eat here from time to time with my dad, it's a straight up working man crowd, though I believe it's now called "Corner Breakfast."

ed. note: The marquee just says "The Breakfast Nook"

I like this place just fine.  It's a Monday Night Football kind of hang.  There is a dirt parking lot, usually having pickups or the like in it, and cheap light beer on drafts.   They have all the games running on about 15 TVs, and the patrons even wear jerseys of their favorite team.  I agree with Douglas L, in that "Wings Mount Saint Helens Style are Hotter than Hell and flavorful in same breath. . ." not bad.  Why anyone would hope to find vegetarian items on the menu here, is beyond me, Jack.

Nathan's Famous hot dog and crinkle-cut fry eatery in the Arches (http://www.yelp.com/bi...).  Parking's a mess, but the food is good and this is a nice place for the strolling.  The dogs are nice and snappy, topped with mustard and a little kraut, and you can get a boat of fries with a plastic pitchfork.  This shop is cobranded with Arthur Treachers and Kenny Rogers if you want to experiment, or want malt vinegar for them fries.  Nathan's Famous also has free refills and fountain-chilled olde fashioned orange and lemonade. . . All right!

Sly Fox Brewery

Sly Fox Brewery of Royersford is a good stopping point in the area for drinking folk. This location is a storefront restaurant with bar area and game room (pinball, billiards and shuffleboard), with warehouse in the back where they make, bottle and can their crafty brews. The manager on duty was kind enough to show us around and the staff was way cool. We did some damage pintwise at the bar, and checked out some food items from the menu. . . Rt. 113 IPA, and cheese fries with old bay and lump crab were the standouts. A good brewpub, I'm a fan.

Manny Brown's is a fine spot with a great selection of beers on draft and perusing list available for a take out sixer.  Rock and roll.

Tattooed Mom is a great dive where one can rock drafts from PBR to Sierra Anniversarys. There were some fine ladies, friendly locals and a lot of texture in atmosphere. Works for me.

Not a bad spot for a burger. Free refills on the Cokes, and I like that thing they do in topping off the fries in your bag. Location used to house the Hauppage Public Library.  Good place, word up to "The Kid".
