Cons - Somewhat tucked away location, relatively expensive (I do think it is pretty good value compared with similar quality options.
Overall, I would recommend Bridlewood. Great for early weekend mornings when there isn't snarling traffic all over DFW.
All that being said, I love donuts and they have a convenient location on Forest just off 75 so when I am in the area is the morning, I will sometimes stop in and get a chocolate covered donut and a cup of coffee. Their cake donuts are pretty good as well.
The valet was professional and great in dealing with the rain and having umbrellas for everyone. The hostess was busy but professional and attentitive. Our waiter similarly was professional and attentive with being overly involved or pushy. The food was all good. I had the tomato mozzarella salad and the steak delmonico and both were very good. We started with the shrimp cocktail which had some of the best cocktail sauce that I have ever had.
I drank their malbec by the glass and it was very good. I also had a sip of their stoli doli which was strong but good.
Capital Grille is an expensive restaurant but lives up to it and you are getting what you pay for. I am usually somewhat harsh in reviewing expensive restaurants because lots of time I feel like it is hard to justify the expense but I think Capital Grille does.
Finally, it has a good feel. Lots of dark wood which out feeling stuffy. A good buzz around the dining rooms without being too noisy.
I definitely enjoyed the experience and this an updating my old review to 5 stars.

Very good all the way around. Great service, good atmosphere and consistently quality food.
I really like everything about Capital Grille, the only thing that keeps me from 5 stars is that I feel like Dallas has a couple equally good steakhouses with just a little more uniqueness or atmosphere or something and I reserve my 5 star votes for them.
You definitely can't go wrong with the filet or the mac and cheese.

Even though I was predisposed to not like this church, I did like it. The people were very nice and welcoming. The pastor gave a great sermon and the service was surprisingly elegant for being in such a large setting.

I had a layover in Dallas in terminal D, and was excited because terminal D is awesome. I was excited to try to Reata there because Reata in FW is one of my top 10 favorite restaurants in DFW. Sadly (and probably appropriately) the airport Reata doesn't hold a candle to the real Reata. If comparing the airport Reata to the other airport restaurants it probably gets a great review but with my expectations raised, it performed only average. The menu is a dumbed down version of the real thing (as it probably should be) so I was disappointed.
Cool Tanz took over for Planet Tan and re-did their space and brought in all new and better equipment and is charging less than Planet Tan did. I don't know what makes one tanning bed better than another but theirs are supposedly better. More for less is always good in my book so I decided it was worth passing on my new found info.
I also feel a little strange reviewing a tanning salon, because I don't really promote tanning (I think it isn't great for your skin) but if someone does want to tan they might as well know about the best deal around for it.

I was very excited to try Bolsa and had heard lots of good things, but what started with a bang ended with a whimper. The area and space didn't disappoint (I had driven by before so I already somewhat new what to expect). The inside was very neat and the whole place had a good Friday night atmosphere.
Then the details of the meal gradually took away from the evening. We got the brushetta sampler appetizer which was probably the best thing we had. It had a number of good flavors that I never would have guessed. We were told to get it from friends which was good because reading the description, we probably wouldn't have ordered it but I am glad we did. We all had wine by the glass which was pretty good and ranged from $9 to $13 per glass which I thought was a little steep for a tucked away place in North Oak Cliff. The entrees weren't particularly good. None of them were bad but none of them made us anxious to return. They have a number of different flatbreads that were just ok.
The biggest downer was the service. Our waiter was very curt and bizarre. We guessed that he was maybe either an owner or manager because he seemed very distracted by all the happenings of the restaurant and was not particularly attentive to our table and when he was there, he wasn't particularly engaged and it felt almost as if us ordering was bothering him or keeping him from something.
Overall, we all left in agreement that we had a good time and were glad we went but we had kind of a "been there, done that" feeling that means although Bolsa was ok, we are fine returning at some point but not in a hurry to do so.
