This is the best burger that I have had in the bay so far. It's messy, like don't wear a nice shirt and use lots of napkins cuz it drips messy. Don't complain about that, just be prepared. The meat is seasoned well, the bun is perfectly grilled and made of great bread (something fancy that my wife will call by a special name I am sure) and the veggies on top do not overpower the burger taste. This is the perfect burger.

I'm a burger purest so, I don't care about the sides, but just so you know, the garlic fries were perfectly garlicky without being over-powering or too oily. They give you a LOT of fries, so unless you are starving have a appetite, find a buddy to share them with.

Madame Lazonga's Tattoo

After having a horrible time with another tattoo shop in north Seattle, I listened to the recommendation of a friend and decided to try Madame Lazonga's near Pike Place Market. I decided to go with the artist John because I really liked the examples he had of futuristic work with robots. After talking with him, I liked him even more because he listened to my ideas and was just as excited as I was.  I was also impressed by his fine art background. The process was pleasant -- as much as it can be to have a needle on your rib cage for several hours. I am very happy with the final result and would recommend John and this shop to anyone looking.

Finally, things that were important to me:
- He was always on time, and communicative
- The shop and the workers are clean and professional
- There was good energy in the shop
- He was able to take my idea and make it look better
- The price was fair
- Able to work on dark skin and not be weird about it
- Willing/able/capable to work on scars
- I got a free shirt

Slave To The Needle

I would not recommend this location. After having the initial consultation and scheduling my tattoo appointment 3 weeks out with Clark, my happy excited self is called an hour before my tattoo time with a cancellation. In discussions earlier I had stressed that I wanted to get it done sooner which is why I was willing to work with the only available artist at the shop. After not being able to set up an adequate reschedule date and feeling pretty much like they don't care, I decided that I would rather give my hard earned money to a company that wants it. Since it was the artist's fault, they agree to re-credit my card with my deposit fee. Everything should be cool, right? Nope, in the spirit of bad service and incompetence, instead of reaccrediting my bank card, they charge it again. Now, the phone's aren't answered or I am put on hold while trying to resolve this. I have had my bank handle this, and I will not be going back here again. What a waste of time.

Tip: I've always heard that when working with tattoo artists to get a referral for the specific artist from a friend or someone that you have seen the art of. That's what I have done this time around, and who would have guessed it, my friends did not recommend this place either.

Jennifer was recommended to my wife and I by a good friend in the financial business. We have been working with her for a year, and have had great interactions with her and good advice. She doesn't pressure us to purchase things that we don't want/need and she has provided simple to follow instructions via email and snail mail for the decisions we have made. We also love the tea/coffee and fancy chocolates that we get when we visit.

I haven't been here during the evenings yet. During the day it's a great place to grab lunch and some brrrr while chatting with friends or watching the game on large screen. The dogs are usually well behaved, on leashes and out of the way, so it's still human-friendly and comfortable to eat here. The food: Great burgers, Sliders, Double Deck BLT :D, and the peanut butter chili ain't bad. The service is friendly.

These ladies are amazing at what they do and it is obvious that they enjoy their profession. Over the years, I have used them to scope out and purchase 2 properties so far. They have gone above the call of duty to make sure that I was properly informed about information regarding the property, neighborhood, seller, climate, resale and even interest rates. I believe in working with experts so that there are little to no future surprises or unknowns, and I feel that I have found professional experts in Team Diva. Plus, they throw the best parties!

This gym is free to SU students and at a discount to alumni and spouses of students/alumni. Perks include: 8 basketball courts, 4 racquetball rooms, 2 hand/pickle ball rooms, decent sized gym and cardio room, indoor turfed soccer field, quiet room, locker room, as well as tvs in lobby and gym area. It's busy at the beginning of the quarter around 5-6:30, as well as during the New Years rush. This is a great location for me since I live in the Central Area and like free parking.

I am not much of a coffee guy, but I love the open floor plan and friendly attentive staff at Trabant. The staff is knowledgeable about coffee and chai. So Trabant is one of my favorite coffee shops near work. I also love that it provides great chai that is less sweet than Oregon Chai and not as watery/spicy as Morning Glory. The chai also has a natural non waxy feeling while drinking, very smooth. This is my favorite coffee house chai.

US Post Office

Neighborhood: Columbia City

I agree with the first reviewer. This post-office has definitely seen better days. There is always a huge pot-hole at the farthest point of the turn-around. I do love the fact that there are two drop of boxes and that you can drive up to them. Going inside requires patience as even if you somehow manage to come on a day when the line is short, it seems that they go even slower so that you don't get used to speediness. That may be a general post office complaint - they were the same in the bay area... Zzzzzz.

Tip: I always drop off Netflix movies in the drop boxes here in the morning on my way to work so that I can get my movies in faster.

I love this place, and it is worth the drive from Columbia City to go here. I wish that we had something similar. They have live music from different genre's and the crowd is very chill and diverse. I been here on several nights with different groups of friends and have had a great time each time. It can be difficult to talk at times, depending on the volume of the band, but usually I am able to have drunk conversation all night. I haven't had food so I can't comment on it. The bartenders were pretty quick to serve and were friendly.
