Wan-Fu Chinese Gourmet
Category: Chinese
We went the other day, because the other Chinese place we like in Rancho was closed. We ended up getting the dinner special that comes with a few sides (wonton, egg roll, shrimp, soup, salad, etc) and an entree for about $10.
The appetizers were better than the entree itself, but still, for the price, not bad. I had the garlic shrimp and boyfriend had the orange chicken. Both were fairly generic and were basicly the American-Chinese food standard. We had more than enough to take home and eat for lunch the next day.
Extra points for very fast service. Would go back.

Natraj's Tandoori
Category: Restaurants
I think the food here is pretty good. It's spicy and packs flavor, although it doesn't necessarily contain the more intricate flavors you'd get in a sit-down Indian restaurant. None the less, it isn't bad.
It is also very fast and affordable, the men are friendly and sometimes give samples of something if you don't know what it is or if you will like it. The naan is made fresh and is chewy and perfect.
Definitely one of my favs for lunch when I'm craving something different.
Sadly, they have turnpikes and tollroads everywhere. Even in the boonies of Oklahoma, where I am originally from. I mean, no one SERIOUSLY thinks Southern California is the only one, right? Right?
I don't enjoy paying them, but I looove taking them. Avoiding that clusterfuck that is the 5 to 55 to 91 to get to Corona is often worth bending over and emptying my pockets and I do like the fact everyone on it drives 80+.
I'd rather go to Uppercrust or Oggi's if I had the choice.
Anyway, as I said, the food is awesome. We ordered the lettuce wraps, drunken noodles and cashew chicken and all were fantastic. The lettuce wraps had a much more sophisticated flavor than your standard PF fare, a little more light, a little more minty. The drunken noodles were delish, we had it with tofu and it was really excellent. The cashew chicken actually tasted like cashews, if you can imagine that. Not just a salty, generic sauce with cashews thrown in.
The portions were a bit small and the prices were a bit high, so even though I'm within walking distance, I think I'll have to reserve it for date nights only.

One of the major perks, especially for the lunch crowd, it's FAST. They throw it together very quickly and have you on your way back to your dreary office setting in no time at all... wait. Well, there are also tables to sit at outside, if you aren't a cubicle zombie like I am/

Affordable Spay and Neuter
Categories: Veterinarians, Pet Services
They gave plenty of information and some pain medication (that happens to smell like beef gravy!) to take home with me after the surgery and even called the next day to make sure everything was going ok.
Affordable Spay & Neuter does provide other services as well, like dog anal gland expression, chipping and nail clipping at a reasonable price. The clinic is operated by the owner of Alicia Pet Care Clinic which is full service for the remainder of your pet care needs.

The yogurt itself is just the way I like it. It's tart and the flavors come out strong. Right now they have a pumpkin flavor that is AMAZING, so I always get that under some cheesecake flavor and throw some yogurt chips on top. They have a pretty decent selection of toppings, but you have to remember that each of those damn gummy worms are going to run you another 33 cents or whatever.
They also have pretty good smoothies here, but considering the price, I'd only get it if I was DYING for a smoothie and didn't want to drive all the way to the Juice it Up.

Dick Church's Restaurant

Usually when I go, I order the biscuits and gravy, lots of coffee and some pancakes. They usually have some pretty good specials going on, like pot roast and that sort of thing. I call it grandma food, because it's pretty much the same stuff my grandma used to make.

Basically, as a grocery store, this place is lacking in groceries. It's a smaller location and I would hate it if I actually lived close by and had to do my regular shopping here. However, that's not the case. I work nearby and get my SANDWICHES here.
Their deli has a sandwich counter that has 6 inch, packed, subs for 3.99 and I am smitten with them. I'm noshing on a roast beef and cheddar as I type this and it ranks with the overpriced sandwiches you would get elsewhere. I recommend it for lunch, definitely. They also have paninis and hot sandwiches that are quite good as well. It's funny because their deli sandwiches that they make right in front of you are actually less expensive than the sandwiches they have prepackaged for you to buy. You can see them actually get the meat from the deli itself and all the produce comes directly from the produce shelves. Delish!
Extra points for very friendly employees!
