Stumbling Monk is a quiet, laid-back place for a beer. The selection of beer is really great- which is probably the reason to stop by.

For me, it was too dark, warm, and smelly. When we walked in the smell just hit us in the face- a musty stale odor. Luckily you get used to it pretty quickly, and forget how icky it is- until you step out into the clean air and realize what you've been breathing for the past couple hours. Eek.

Wow, I had an awesome experience here! They lady working when I went in was so nice, so helpful, and just made shopping in there fun. They have a very nice selection of costumes and accessories at VERY reasonable prices.

I was in there looking for a masquerade mask. I had spent hours online looking at different styles, and almost ordered a few. The masks they had here were just as pretty as the ones I had picked out, but costs about a third of what I was expecting to pay- fantastic!!

I'll be the first to admit that I don't know anything about Puerto Rican food. At all. But I came here with some friends and got to try a few different options from the menu, and all I have to say is WOW. It was all really good.

My own dinner was the Pastelon. The menu warns you that it takes 15 minutes to prepare (I always appreciate advance notice for stuff like that!), but that it is well worth the wait. And it SO IS. "Puerto Rican style lasagna with layers of sweet plantains, mozzarella cheese"- you choose the meat (or tofu) option. I had mine with pulled pork. And wow. This is one of my favorite things I think I've ever eaten. Ordering lasagna with plantains seemed pretty bizarre, but the sweet fruity taste with the cheese and meat and everything together, YUM!

Of course, now I have the problem that whenever I come back here, I will only order the pastelon. Which means I might be missing out on some other delicious dish, but I can't pass on a chance to have that again!

I also loved the colors here, a teal room next to a red room. It's very colorful and fun and inviting. And service was great too!

I wasn't blown-away by this place. I love pho, it's probably my favorite thing ever, and this was my least favorite pho I've ever had. I'm not sure what it was, it just wasn't that great. My friend had the Drunken Crispy Chicken, and that was pretty tasty. The service overall was nice, but slow. My feelings on this place are pretty "blah", and I don't expect to make a return trip.

I had a chocolate chip cupcake here, and it was super yummy- one of the best cupcakes I've had! The frosting was really sweet with a slightly gritty sugary texture (which I loved), and the cake was moist and yummy. I also grabbed a "frosting shot", which is a cheap and dangerous temptation- the chocolate frosting was sooo good though.

I didn't realize the place was closed when I came by, but they were super nice and let me sneak in anyway- thanks!! I'll be back for more very soon!

I came by Barrio for cocktails one night, and was very happy that I did. We tried 4 different drinks, and all of them were not only creative, but tasted incredibly good. I can't remember all the names, but I know one was very floral and fruity and wonderful.
My favorite was Sexy Sadie (I think?)- it included jalapeno, but it wasn't so spicy that I couldn't handle it (I'm a total wuss when it comes to spice!). Although my friend said it was the least hot one of those he had ever had- apparently the bartenders make it a little differently. Mind was perfect though, with the jalapeno flavor and none of the PAIN!

I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the food here- with a couple of cocktails of course!

The food here is always fantastic- probably my favorite Thai food in Redmond! I have had takeout a few times, and only eaten here once. I enjoyed the time eating here- the dining room is pretty and purple, I love it. Service was great, with the occasional water-glass-running-on-empty (noooo!). My favorites are the Garlic or Ginger dishes, yum!

We tried the vanilla and the chocolate/salted caramel cupcakes. They were good, not great. The chocolate cake was the best thing we tasted- moist and very chocolaty. The caramel frosting on it was insanely sweet though.

The place is quite cute- very pink and girly and pretty. The girls there had no clue had to run the register though. And I sadly forgot to buy milk when we bought the cupcakes. So while my friend sat at a table and waited for me, I stood at the counter for 10 minutes while they rang up 2 drinks.

The cupcakes weren't all that much better than cupcakes I could make at home, and for 3 bucks each I want a REALLY awesome cupcake. I didn't get that here.

I LOVE DanceWorks!

I am a complete beginner to any kind of dance, and just started taking salsa lessons here a couple months ago. The classes are really fun and you can drop in to any of them. They also hold open salsa dances every Wednesday night, which is a few hours of fun and practice for a great price!

I just started Argentine Tango last week, and have also been doing their Saturday Bachata classes. I'm loving all of it, this place is great! :)

I haven't been by here, but I have had their pizza delivered to Black Raven- and YUM. Really, really good pizza. They make a fantastic vegetarian pizza with artichokes and olives (I can't remember the name of this one)- super yummy though. This is my second favorite pizza in Redmond!
