This is a pretty average McDonald's... but when I order sweet tea here it's usually water! Ew ew ew. McD's sweet tea is supposed to be one of the sweetest substances on the planet. Nuggets are average, sweet tea is bad, the end.

Good coffee and friendly service. Maybe I haven't noticed any coffee snobbery here because I don't know much about coffee other than "if it's sweet I'm happy". I usually order a vanilla latte, and their vanilla lattes taste like vanilla lattes so I'm a happy camper. If I want coffee in Bothell this is the place!

This is the best place in the world for chocolate drinks, both alcoholic and non. The cioccobreve is an insane concoction of rich chocolate (of your choice) and half and half; it's probably one of the best reasons to live on planet earth. I recently tried some of their cakes and tortes as well, all delicious. The Strawberry Chantilly might have been even better than the chocolate options!
I recommend going in and ordering 3 desserts for yourself. It'll start to hurt after a little while, but it's worth it. Make sure one of them is a cioccobreve.

Actually, this location is really nice. There are lots of tables and couches and inviting space, and the friendly staff I'm used to at Starbucks. The parking lot can be icky if it's a busy time, but once you get inside who cares? =]

I'm not a huge teriyaki fan, but everything I had here was delicious. I think the best part of Niko is the portion size- super generous for about the same price as any other teriyaki place in the area. The chicken stir-fry is super tasty, with lots of veggies and tasty sauce. And the leftovers were just as awesome :D

The only thing I didn't like was the dressing that came with the little salad- instead of the sweet watery stuff I usually get from teriyaki places, this was a thick ranchy dressing that just wasn't as good. But whatever, the meat is what matters and THAT was delicious!

Best Buy is the worst. Hopefully you know that already.

My latest experience here is a great example of why I haven't been by there in years: a few weeks ago, I was researching laptops. I stopped by because I knew they carried some of the systems I was considering, and I wanted to check out the display models.

While I was looking around, a creeper- I mean, employee- came over and asked if he could help me. I told him exactly what I was hoping to get, and asked if he had any recommendations for me. Instead of addressing my questions, he spent the next 15 minutes following me around from machine to machine, asking me about my internet service at home. What company is it through? How long is my contract? How much am I paying? What's the speed?

I told him repeatedly I was not interested in switching providers, and he kept insisting that the company he works for would give me a better offer. He refused to answer any questions about the expensive computers I was there to look at! Horrible experience. They had the machine I wanted at a slightly lower price than I found online (I was surprised), but there was no way I was buying anything there. It was worth the extra $ to not support BB. Bleh!

I freaking love Kohl's. Kohl's Kohl's Kohl's. Most of my wardrobe comes from this particular store. Watch out for their ads or sign up for the email list for crazy coupons that knock an extra 30% off EVERYTHING. Which is amazing considering most of their merchandise is discounted 30-50% pretty quickly after it shows up in the store. The clearance section is ridiculous, crazy discounts and fun clothes. Customer service is super fast and friendly, but you might have to wait in a long line depending on what time you show up (avoid that lunch rush, ew). Thank you Kohl's, for helping me look pretty and not destroying my bank account in the process.

This location of Bath and Body Works is great- a super clean store and friendly staff. Their selection of lotions and soaps is great- a lot of them smell weirdly edible. So if you enjoy smelling like food (especially fruits and candy), you'll find something you like.
Things are pretty pricey, but they put out some coupons that bring everything down to really reasonable amounts, especially around holidays. You can sign up for their mailing list and get coupons randomly for free items, and very often they will give you more free-item-coupons when you make a purchase. And the clearance section is the BEST!

The Oreo milkshake is amazing. But be prepared for the tummy troubles later on. Don't worry, it's totally worth it.

I LOVE Pharmaca. It's one of very few compounding pharmacies around, they carry a great selection of natural and herbal remedies, and the staff is better than any other pharmacy I've been to. The store is always ridiculously clean, and somehow always smells good, maybe from the natural soaps and lotions and cosmetics they carry.

The number-one awesome thing about this place is the staff though. They have specialists in every department, who are more than happy to talk to you about what you're buying and make suggestions for you. While I visited several other retailers looking for a pretty serious supplement that my doctor had prescribed, this was the only place that I received questions from (everywhere else just tells you what it costs, end of story). The woman I spoke with (I can't remember her name right now, argh!) was genuinely concerned with what I was looking for and why I needed it, and provided some great advice for when I started the medication- you don't get caring treatment like that anywhere. I feel comfortable going in for anything I might need, and know there will always be someone on hand to answer any questions I have. This place is great!
