The wait was about 1 hour on a Friday evening. We were there early too. The place is really small, so there's not a lot of seating. The wait was worth it. The burgers are huge, the fries are pretty good but nothing special, and the crowd is lively. The burgers are about twice as big as most burgers, with a lot of really interesting choices Definitely one of the top burgers in Chicago. There are some good beers available too. Overall, it's a cool place to take a friend visiting town, as long as you are there before 6pm.

Matt Walton is the owner and our agent for a condo purchase in Chicago. Matt is probably one of the best real estate agents in Chicago. Matt never sleeps, instead he power naps in between showings. Matt loves to visit properties, and has a very flexible schedule which was great for us, since my wife and I work 9-5 on weekdays. You can pretty much call Matt any time of day and he will answer or call you back very quickly. Matt helped us in every aspect of buying a distressed condo, which meant understanding the financing, setting up inspections, contacting contractors for repair estimates, arranging a closing attorney, and helping to gather association documents from an unresponsive selling agent. Matt has great advise on buying in Chicago, what to look for, and how the process works. We got an incredible deal on a very nice condo unit.

Just wanted to try a different Mexican place. I should have known better than to go to a chain. Ordered 3 tacos, cost $8, feel ripped off. They weren't even good either, and I need to go get another lunch. I'll never go back, this place is horrible.

I like Freshii overall, for one they use vegetables, which is rare in the Loop, however the quality seems to be slipping over time. It seems that about every 2 weeks, they adjust the amount of vegetables that go into a custom bowl, and it gets smaller and smaller. I got the custom lemongrass soup today with about 10 different vegetable choices added, and there was about 10 spoonfulls of actual vegetables in total, and the rest was warm, yellow salt water. It was so pathetic today, that I'll actually say something to the owner about it if I go in again.

The soups are worthless, just salt water. The bowls are ok if you customize your own, but sadly lacking in vegetables. If you build a quinoa bowl, you'll get 95% quinoa in the bowl. The burritos might be better, and seems to be what most people order, but they all have meat, probably not very high quality judging from the rest of the food. The only thing fresh is in the name itself.

Seems like they have gone out of business. I just bought a live box during the "special", in which it seems that the point was to cash out and close up shop. The phone number is disconnected, and no one ever contacted me about the fact that I won't be able to order boxes. I'm going to have to contact the credit card company to file a claim.

According to Raw B, his restaurant in Turkey has the same program, same looking website too. Here is a link to the only online review place I could find for it.

So, I've been to RAW more than a few times, and the more I go the less I want to go back, if ever. They had a gift card at one point, but apparently the company accountant said it was a bad deal for them since it just rewarded frequent customers. When faced with paying full price, I just can't drop $13 on a spinach salad. The pizza keeps shrinking each month too, but not the price. They never change the menu either, so I really don't feel like paying full price for overpriced sameness. To end it for me, was the second time that I ordered an $8 smoothie with 50 cents worth of ingredients that came in an 8 ounce little cup, and made me sick for 2 days. I'm not sure if I can go back here again.

It's good and healthy to eat organic raw foods, but not if you're pissed at the same time about getting ripped off.

This is my favorite lunch place in the loop. It's located in the back corner of the french market at Ogilvie train station, which is a pretty nice place itself. There are always samples out so you can try something before you buy, since it's pretty new for most people. The raw salmon pate does not have salmon or mayo, but does taste a bit like salmon. My favorite is the Raw pizza and the raw sushi. Everything is made fresh each day, throughout the day, all organic, and very very filling, so you'll have leftovers for the next meal. I just wish there were more quality places with healthy menus like this in the Chicago loop.

Probably the only vegan restaurant that I could get fat by eating at regularly. This is some greasy, heavy food, the way it's made old school down south, but no meat. Not recommended for gluten free diets.
