I've been back about 5 times since that first time ~4 months ago. Everything's been great since then and the prices are good.

I enjoyed my Americano and all of the other hot drinks were enjoyed by my companions, but the iced mocha one companion got tasted like it had no coffee in it to me but like it was burnt to her. Watching the drinks being made, the barista had an inconsistent and loose-looking tamp, so there was definitely some difference from espresso shot to shot. We'll probably be back some time anyway.

The Sate Ayam was some of the best I've had with a nice amount of browning on the chicken while still being very moist and tender. The Tuturuga was a very nice simple red curry (pretty much just meat and sauce) at just the right spice level. I plan to come back to try more things, such as the whole fish dishes and rice specialties.
The owner was our waiter and was very friendly while serving us. He made useful suggestions while we were debating which items to order.
The food was all quite good. The paneer pakora was the best I've ever had. The main dishes were all at nice spice levels without specifying hotness on any of them, though the chicken tikka masala could have been hotter (I'll just ask for it hotter next time).
The only reason I'm not giving a 5 here is due to the decor/atmosphere. Everything was really clean, so that wasn't a problem, but the restaurant itself is pretty plain and the market's entry hall outside the restaurant is very industrial. If the decor was a little more intimate, it'd be better.

Service was kinda slow the day I went in, but the burgers and fries are the same good stuff you can get at the other KV locations. :)
Also, everyone should try the garlic sweet potato fries; it's the best thing they make that's not on the menu (that I know of).

The house red was a pleasant cabernet that went well with my carne asada. The carne asada itself was cooked to a good "medium" as I requested and had a nice amount of a slightly fruity mild salsa on top. The accompanying beans and tamale were also tasty, though a black bean tamale was unusual (I'm used to tamales only being pork).
The event was super crowded, but with a smaller crowd, it'd be nice to have a party at Japonessa. The few bits of food I could get were pretty good, but I wasn't able to get any of the short ribs which looked like the could have been the best item. The cava was shockingly good for its price point of about $9 per bottle retail.
We almost didn't go in because it looks like a crappy teriyaki place from the outside (and the inside looks like a boring teriyaki place). The sushi was shockingly good though; some of the freshest, most delicious fish I've ever eaten! :D

I often eat here on my way out of town for the various trips I take. They've got a reasonably interesting selection of beers and the fish is fresh. The prices are pretty high for the quantity of food though. We had really terrible service the last time I was in.
Quick ordering and pretty speedy food service. Clean.

It's an Apple Store. They are all nearly identical with almost always good service. I went in, asked where I could get the accessory I wanted, grabbed it, and paid. In and out in under 3 minutes.
