- drop off in the morning before work at the nice new and clean hospital
- picked him up around 4ish.
- total bill was half of my other vet's estimate and you get a discount being an SF resident. very nice.
- they gave me a aftercare sheet and talked me through everything.
Newton was a bit groggy but we got through the first night. I trimmed his e-collar so he can drink from his bowl without freaking out. (great tip from my dogwalker.)
He was pretty much himself in a couple of days. He healed pretty nicely in 6 days.
He has stop lifting his leg and marking and was totally himself again after 7 days.

The new hospital is very nice (although I've never been to the old one.) The waiting area is spacious. There's even a Babies pet shop there so you can occupy your pup.
I had to bring my pup in emergency care today and it was really close to my house. He had bad coughs and just didn't seem like himself anymore.
Knowledgeable: Very. It's a 2 step process for emergency care. The nurse looks over you dog first for vitals. Then off to another room to wait for the vet. The vet was so very nice and awesome. She explained everything.
Fees: visit was more expensive than my other vet. The Rx was reasonable since he's got to take antibiotics for 2 weeks. However the neutering & microchipping prices are *significantly* lower then my other vet. (I figure they have tons of experience since they work with alot of animals.)
Everyone seemed eager to help you and are very nice. I'm back here for his neutering and microchipping in a few weeks and I feel better about them now.
There's validated free parking down the block too.

I told her to keep his fur and just trim his shape. She looked at his fur and said it was close to matting all over. anyhow...she was super gentle with him...giving him breaks here and there. It took 6 hrs but it was completely understandable and worth it!! I haven't felt his fur so soft and look so shiny in a long time. He knew it too. He was wagging his tail all over the place.
I'm coming back for sure. :)

Knowledgeable: very. I didn't have to tell them how my little guy didn't need certain shots. They also suggested a proper shot schedule for him. Dr Scot and Dr Owens are both great vets!
Fees: checkup, shot fees, and Rx are not bad... (less than the new SPCA hospital for sure.) Although I did find dewormers a lot cheaper online. It was great for them to show me what works. Then I went on amazon and stock up on the same dewormers for a small fraction of the price.
All in all, I'm very happy with their care. It's just that they are so far away from me.

I was at a T intersection waiting for my turn to make a left turn. I did not have the right of way...so must yield to lots of traffic coming from my left and right.
Then along comes the shuttle van from my left and making an illegal U. He could have gone further done a bit on the street I get behind me. Instead he turns almost into me while blocking the other half of the street!!!!
So I'm still trying to make my left turn and he's YELLING at me to go. WTF???
I was appalled and got ticked off and yelled back at him. Clearly there's tons of traffic during lunch time. He then looked sorry...He should be and now I'm writing this review.
So Mr Asian Dude Driver you suck and I'm going to drive the proper way and not get killed in my neighborhood.
I'm so NOT EVER taking this shuttle because if this is how one of their drivers drive. NO THANKS.
