I like the salad here a lot.  Not to crazy about their Soups. Messy at times. Overall gets the job done.   In case you haven't figured out, dont go there for service, it's a buffet - help yourself.

the $5.99 salad to go is an excellent deal - You can pack plenty in their to-go containers.

You have GOT TO BE KIDDING ME.  Overpriced. Undercooked doughy and flimsy pizza, BLAND.

Where is your quality control? NO Flavor in your pizza sauce. Your italian sausage is watered down.

How do you possibly rate this higher than 2 stars?  I will never eat here again. I kind of want my money back....

Paid $5 a month for 18 months, then had to make a claim. $100 deductible. Was Sent a used phone, with a Hazy display, and now not working after 1 month.  What good is insurance if you get used equipment in return? Weak.

I will never eat here again. I probably should have Yelped before ordering.

Well as you can guess, I ordered Pho.  The broth was thick and murky. Thank goodness i ordered a small.

Waitresses seemed like they didn't even want to be there.

Busing station was in plain sight on dining floor and straight tacky.
Chipped plates.

Toward end of meal some one comes out of the kitchen, kicks off her slippers and then sits cross legged on the stool and starts picking her crusty ass feet.  I'm not joking I just posted a photo on Saigon Cuisine's profile page.  See for yourself.

On a positive note, the 4 seasons salad was great BUT over priced.

I would not eat here again though.

So me n da GF have been here a few times now. The food is GREAT. Friendly service. It's basically a diner atmosphere dont come here expecting fine dining.

I've had breakfast here omelets and full meals.  Had a AWESOME turkey sandwich with mixed green salad combo.  Had a chicken fried steak the other visit. This most recent ordered a breakfast croissant and finally decided it was time to issue a proper Yelp.

We love this spot.  The decor is a bit outdated but you know what it's all good.  If you want a few laughs look at the wedding picture as you walk out posted by the door. Herra Asian.  They seem to have all the locals coming here - there wasn't one visit where someone working there knew a patron by first name basis.

I'd say the price is maybe $1 or $2 high but we keep coming back and haven't had any complaints about what our food.

Good hangover food spot.

Naked Chorizo

Seen it driving around town and we're like wow...they must have good Chorizo.  Pulled up to Ruddy's Tacos today and saw the Naked Chorizo truck. Decided to give it a shot!  Got the Chorizo burrito.

Turns out this is a Filipino run truck.  They have some Topsilog and other *silog dishes but considering I was lured away from Ruddy's - I'm there for the Chorizo  Now, I'm Pinoy also so I'd rather just be brutally honest to my peeps than beat around the bush.

$6 for a small ass burrito and it wasn't filling at all.   Size: imagine a Taco Bell bean/cheese burrito.  I shoulda taken a picture but I was so hungry I ate it faster than I could log into Yelp.  Flavor: The burrito was OK - 3/5.  Didn't knock me off my feet flavor wise. Had some Filipino spicing to it more than a straight up Mexican Chorizo flavor but that's OK.

I even told them "It's my first time here, make it count!".

I asked for the Cilantro dressing. didn't get it on the side OR taste it inside. Bummer.

I recommend you get bigger tortillas and make bigger burritos if you're gonna park next to Ruddy's - Else, you're digging your own hole.

That being said this would have been an easy 3 stars if the burrito wasn't so small.

My girlfriend and I have been here plenty of times.  Pros and Cons here.

Basically - Their chairs suck. They are the most uncomfortable things I've sat on in my life.

Service is good. Love the free hot tea and water.

Food - The _MOST_ delicious soup I've had there was their ramen w/ shredded pork with cabbage. Small portion but worth every bit.  It was pretty DAMN good.   The very next week, we went in and I ordered a ramen with the "select 3 meats" as part of their combo deal. This was the most terrible ramen i've tasted. Like wow.   I went from one end of the spectrum to the other.

Sweets - OK this is basically what I like most.  I love their watermelon sago.  Also their mango Sago. Also their Kiwi Sago.   My gf and I pretty much only go here for "dessert" now.

I'd like to complain one more time about how crappy their chairs are.

Reposado

My girlfriend and I have been here 3x, each time for happy hour. 4pm to 6pm. The bar menu is off the chain! I can't wait to get a normal dinner here! Too bad they took the Lobster Tostada off the menu. SOOOOO GOOD.

I have been thinking about how to Yelp Reposado. I have narrowed it down to 3 statements:

1) I want to steal a menu, make Xerox copies, and go door to door promoting Reposado

2) I want to rub the Queso Fundido all over my face and never take a shower again. It's all good.

3) If Yelp could give 6 stars, I'd give 7.

Do yourself a favor and at least check out their food at happy hour. The food is all 1/2 price.

- Guacamole (fresh) and fresh, hot, bottomless chips. $4.50 worth every cent.
- Queso Fundido, w/ fresh corn tortillas: out of control $4.50
- Enchilada w/ duck confit and pear slaw.... wow.
- Prawns and Scallops, must order, but small portion.
- Tuna Ceviche in a grape fruit juice, roasted pepitos, and Plantain chips: great but you can get good Ceviche anywhere.
- Sopitas.... just do it.
- Empanadas, forgot the filling, small but very delicious.

We've tried almost everything on their happy hour menu and like I said, we can't wait to get a normal dinner  there.

Last but not least - The Service is a 10/10.

Interstate Battery Systems

The battery went out on my 1993 Audi S4 on March 15th - The Ides of March!!

I pretty much started looking for a replacement starting w/ the closest option - Sears @ Tanforan (like a 5 minute walk). They didn't have a DieHard battery w/ the vent port. Autozone....wasn't really hot on their Duralast brand... but they didn't have one w/ a port anyways.

Didn't even dawn on me to see if my battery was under warranty - Turns out I bought it June 2008 a few days before my big move to Northern California from San Diego. And sure enough it was under warranty still. Dont know why I didn't think to check this first?? In da GF's Scion, drove down to the Interstate Battery warehouse in Millbrae (7 minutes away?). Showed the guy my receipt and my old battery. FREE Replacement!!

He did have something to say about the franchise I bought it from in SD... apparently there's a huge difference w/ protocols between Corporate and Franchise locations. The date stamp on the battery was over a year off the purchase receipt. Meaning it had been sitting for a while or ? The replacement he gave me was shrink wrapped. Where the one I was replacing was "loose" when I bought it.

If you're the "brand loyal" type: Having been through DieHard, Optima, and other batteries in the past I must say I have a great experience w/ Interstate and will continue to use them. If you're in the bay area and you're having problems sourcing a new battery for your car, I recommend the Interstate Battery in Millbrae.  Friendly Quick service and NO hassle on the warranty exchange.
