You know that feeling when you find a really comfortable place? Alesci's is that kind of place. It's not much to look at and there's hardly any place to sit. But their sandwiches are out of this world. True Italian deli. The Italian roast beef sandwich is drip-from-your-chin good. Their pizza is rustic and nothing but flavor. It's a family place, and they love to treat their customers as family -- making sure they go away with a satisfied stomach, filled with comfortable, good tasting, hearty food.
Love Heinen's for its excellent quality. Selection is limited, but what they have is great. More expensive, but it's much easier to shop here than Giant Eagle (HATE those checkout lines!). Excellent veggies, nice meats and seafood. My only gripe, really, is that their wine selection is way too limited. I'm a wine guy, though, so that's not really a fair criticism. This is our primary market.

Great wine shop. Doesn't hurt, of course, that it shares space with Atlanta's best cook's shop (The Cook's Warehouse). A fine selection of wines, many out of the price range of most wine drinkers. But here's the good news -- the affordable wines they have are worth drinking! If it's in the store, it's going to be good wine.
The staff is very knowledgeable. They offer help, but never get in the way.
It's my favorite wine shop in Atlanta. They just do a great job and serve the discriminating wine drinker very well.

Excellent wine selection paired with excellent knowlege and service makes for an excellent wine shop -- and that's Chucks!
I'm a wine guy -- about 600 bottles in our cellar. First time I came into Chuck's (thanks, David L. for introducing me!) I was handed a glass of red wine. "Can you tell what this is?" I was able to get old world, Italy, probably Cianti. It was. But playing that kind of game seems to be exactly what this wine shop is about -- experiencing wine. And isn't that what it's all about?

Gotta love a place where the food is always good, there's always a crowd, and even my seven-year-old daughter loves it! Sure, the booths could be bigger and there could be a better waiting area, but the intimate feel is all part of the charm of Yours Truly. I'm new to the area, but YT has become a family favorite already.

What's not to love about MBCC??? Bruce is an amazing pastor whose leadership across the country in Presbyterian circles has made him a "Pastor Rock Star!" I'm more than a groopie, though... I'm a bona fide member of the fan club. He's hip, he's insightful, and he's a faithful follower of Christ. All that and a bag of Baked Salt & Vinegar chips! If you're in the area, you gotta check out this church!

These guys have a decent wine selection for small-town Solon. Plus they are knowledgable and willing to assist. I wish their selection were a bit deeper in Rhones and Aussie Shiraz (well, most reds to be honest), but there is so much more here than the other options in town. A good, local wine shop for this wine guy!
This is a hidden jewel in Solon! Very inviting space and staff, with exceptional food. Love the vegetable tempura as an appetizer. There is a wonderful chicken-beef-shrimp lo mein -- out of this world! Love the spicy Hunan dishes. Nothing great on the outside (strip mall), but it's well worth it once inside!
What a GREAT restaurant! We're new to Solon, but Jimmy Dadonna's has quickly become a favorite. HUGE portions -- we always count on having enormous leftovers. We come here for anything from pasta (yum!) to carbonara (yum!) to pizza (yum! yum!). In fact, it's our favorite pizza place in town, too!
