Duck Walk has been one of my favorite thai restaurants since my college days at DePaul. It is a quite small place, but that doesn't affect business. It is sometimes awkward sitting so close to strangers, but you forget that quickly once your food comes out.

Great food at an even greater price. I recently discovered the deliciousness of their bubble tea. Fantastic. My faves are the cucumber salad, pot stickers, tofu pad thai, drunken noodles, and the green curry.

Yum.

Las Tablas has the potential to be a great place. I bought the Groupon and was excited to try out a new ethnic restaurant. I took a friend for her birthday on a Friday. I didn't think to make a reservation since we had gone before the dinner rush, but that didn't matter, we still had to wait 2 hours for a table. We ordered mojitos, which were fantastic and enjoyed ourselves. The only thing about the front bar area is the lack of bar stools or any sort of seating area. Not everyone needs to sit, but it looked awkward and empty without any stools against the bar.

When we were finally seated, we ordered empanadas to hold us over until our entrees-the Entrana. We both substituted the yucca, her for a salad and me for beans. The side orders were very large and more than plentiful. The skirt steak was great as was the plantain.

The service was slow. We had to wait a bit to order. I didn't order another drink with dinner and when I finally did, I waited about 15 minutes for it and another 5 or so after reminding the waiter. I understand that it was a busy night, but service doesn't have to lack because of that.

All in all, I'd say Las Tablas is tastey, just not exactly efficient.

What a great find, thank you Groupon! I bought two Groupons because it was such a great deal and I''m glad that I did! Crepe Crave is a cute little breakfast/brunch option. The decor is cute and cozy and the service is fantastic. They have a long list of crepes from sweet, savory and breakfast crepes. They also have coffee, tea and gelato. Can't wait to try the gelato.

I went a couple of Sundays ago with the boy and we had such a great experience that we ended up staying for over 2 hours. I had the fruit and sweet cheese crepe (with blueberries) and he had the egg florentine crepe. We both got coffee as well. Everything was delicious. They even offer free refills on coffee. We had originally ordered our coffee in mugs, but they gave us our refills in to-go cups, with no extra charge.

Definite yay!

Hands down the best location. Everyone is such a joy, especially the twins. So friendly and courteous! Not only is the service the best I've ever experienced, but so is the food. Sadly, I have been to a few Panera's that didn't have the best quality food- wilted lettuce, stale bread, etc.

I'll admit, I'm extremely picky when it comes to Mexican restaurants, but only because I've grown up eating some of the best (authentic) Mexican dishes. AND because most places within this price range tend to serve greasy, fatty meats. Blech! I am a fan of El Tesoro's cooking and menu. I usually get the same few things and mostly always a torta de milanesa-delicioso! I will say that I'm disappointed in their chile rellenos because the last two times I ordered one, the cheese was literally a block, barely melted. I learned my lesson and stick to what has always satisfied me-tortas, tacos, gorditas.

Nordstrom is my favorite department store and this location happens to have close to the best customer service. The employees are always friendly, more than willing to help out in any way. It seems that they are quicker to notice when you need some assistance than at the Woodfield location, which could have something to do with the fact that this location seems to be less chaotic. Always my go-to location.

Definitely my favorite Body Shop location, by far! I was just in a few weeks ago to use my (expired) Groupon and the saleswomen were both very friendly and oh so helpful. I was originally at Oak Brook for an appointment at the Apple store to get a replacement iPhone. With that being said, after I was in line to pay for my oil burner and lip balms, I realized that I had a NEW phone, therefore no apps, which means no Groupon! That didn't mean a thing. The saleswoman logged me in on her phone and viola! Now that's great customer service!

Great breakfast/brunch place.

Unlike one of the reviews I read about Le Peep, I actually loved their bacon. It wasn't fatty and hard, but rather soft and tasty. My entire breakfast was fantastic. I'm usually a hard critic when it comes to pancakes, but theirs were just right-fluffy, buttermilk goodness.

I say yay.

I give an "A-OK" rating because I only enjoy the thin crust pizza from Lou Malnati's. In my opinion, the deep dish is too cheesy and the sauce is basically just tomato chunks without any flavor. HOWEVER, the thin crust pizza (which I've only had recently at a friend's BBQ) is absolutely delicious! I love Home Run Inn pizza and this reminded me so much of that taste. The cheese and sauce is just perfect and the crust is buttery and flaky and oh so good. Definitely on my list of go-to thin crust pizza joints AND at the top!

New York style pizza and plentiful.

A friend introduced me to Santullo's and I am thankful for that. It's now one of my favorite go-to thin crust pizza joints. It's delicious and the slices are huge, so one really will fill you up. They also have fantastic mac n cheese!

My friends and I love it so much, we even had it at our annual "Festivus" party. It was random and stood out, but it was devoured in no time!
