I really only come here because of Amanda. I used to come to Tia also but she is no longer there, sadly.
But Amanda is amazing. First off, as a facialist, she herself has perfect skin. If I'm going to someone on a regular basis, then I hope that person would be an example of what I should strive for. Amanda is exactly that. She also is really good about checking in with me on each visit to see how the skin is doing, and what is going on with my life that may affect my skin. I leave everytime with the softest and cleanest skin ever. And yes the extractions do hurt, but I think they hurt no matter where you go, at least that has been my experience. No pain, no gain, right?
In regards to the wraps, which I have done, also about 1-3 times a month, depending on time, Amanda is great. She takes her time, explains what is going on, and overall does a great job, I always see a noticeable difference. As part of the wrap too Balance offers a mini facial too which is nice.
I've never felt pressured to buy anything here, though I eventually did buy stuff here.
I know they advertise free parking but I have yet to hear about it or see it.
Also if you leave a voice message on the days they are closed (I think Tues) it won't get returned so just call again. :)
But yes the services are great with Amanda - she is amazing.

The restaurant is getting two stars for the food alone. It was really pretty good overall. (standout- crab arancini-crispy fried balls of crab!) (though the pork spiedini was a little dry)
But the service was horrible. We waited 45 minutes for anything to come out. And when we asked here and there to check in and see if the food was going to come out, the waitress apologized and then never came back with an update. We had to ask 2 other people for an update and it took 20 more minutes to get an answer as to where our food was.
When the food finally came, it took 15 minutes to get a plate, and when we were ready to go home, another half hour for the check.
All in all, the great food was overshadowed by the shoddy service.
Bummer too because I really wanted to like this place.

Now fast forward to August:
Now a week before my appointment, I still haven't been able to move my appointment, and I have called 3 times again to try and see if I can be accomodated this weekend. And of course, I still don't ever get a live person. And when someone finally gets me live, she says they are booked up and I should have tried to reschedule earlier. Are you kidding me!?
I know with modern times, automated systems are more cost efficient and the way to go, but this is nuts.
I haven't even been to the spa yet and I've had a horrible experience.
Considering how the hotel is so known for an amazing guest experience, the spa is severly lacking in the same experiences.
