This library is a beacon to other libraries on how to offer community services, learning, and media to patrons. They are a self-proclaimed community living room, and I can;t think of a better, more comfortable place to enjoy an morning, afternoon or evening of quiet.

Service was slow and discourteous. Food was incredibly salty but otherwise bland. Expensive price for not very good food. Bathroom is straight out of a horror film complete with flickering lights, no heat and broken doors. Music, mostly country and trite Mexican tunes (la cucaracha, swear to god) was blaring. Sports tv everywhere. If you care. Never again.

This time, I had the veggieburger sans sauce. It was delicious: crisp, spicy, and firm, with fresh lettuce, summer tomatoes, and hot, hot onions that made my nostrils burn. I'm gonna do that again soon. The fries were pretty good too, but I left half of them on the plate, cause there were too many to be reasonable. Also coffee was hot, and Samara was incredibly attentive. You win, PJ's.

Underground Cafe and Restaurant - CLOSED

We went to Underground late at night after a day long event, and were welcomed warmly. The decor is nice and neutral, but inviting. The chairs and tables are comfortable and clean. The service was prompt, dedicated, and smiling. The food is an eclectic mix of Eastern European, but Bulgaria is mentioned a few times. I got Lamb kebobs at a friend's suggestion, and was very happy with them. They were  served on a sculptural hanging spike with a short eating demonstration. The food was delicious, culturally distinct, and interesting. Dessert was delicious, a chocolate crepe with nutella and ice cream. We had a very good time, and I'd highly recommend a visit.

Taste of Mexico

This is a small, quiet counter-and-tables place with some of the most delicious, simple cooking you'll taste in all of Princeton. It has authentic flavors, and a wonderful atmosphere. The dishes are variably spicy, not too sweet or rich, and always consistently good. The fajitas are amazing, and nothing so faux as you'd find in the TGIF, Chili's, On The Border, etc. The food is fresh, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the whole place is a no-nonsense factory for real Mexican flavors. I love it every time.

Barbara's Hungarian Restaurant

I love this place. It's simple, straightforward, and absolutely authentic. I've been to Hungary, one of the few places I've traveled in my life outside of the US. The food there is amazing, spicy, simple, tasty, and rich. When you go into a local diner and order the goulash, you're not getting goulash, you're getting beef stew with noodles. True Goulash (gyulas at Barbara's) is a spicy broth with spaetzle, braised beef chunks, potatoes, and lots of paprika. At Barbara's they are doing it the right way -- cowboy soup. The most recent time I went, on a Saturday night, the place was packed. I started with the Gyulas, which was delicious. My main dish was the Chicken Paprikas with spaetzle, and I finished with an apple strudel. We all had great food -- my dining partners had the beef paprikas, stuffed cabbage, califlower soup, and an amazing peach crepe. Everything was well done, rich, inexpensive, and served with a delightful friendly manner. 10 stars.

I've gone here several times with various Princetonians. The food is good, although commonly Princeton high priced. The beer selection recently improved greatly -- Dogfish Head 60 minute on tap, Sly Fox Pikeland Pilsner, and some others worth having. In bottle, you get some real winners, like McChouffe, and others. I've never been disappointed by the food, and today's lunchtime service was exemplary, though other times it's been only so so. Based on today's visit, I'd go back again. I had a Filet Mignon sandwich with Pepper Jack Cheese and salsa that was phenomenal.

I went here in response to an early review on yelp, expecting great things. I brought my family, sat down, with some effort, and tried to order. We wanted Dosa, which were on the menu, the waiter took our order, then returned to let us know that Dosas were available on Mondays only. Okay 1) get it off the menu then, and 2) let us know when we sit down what's not available. We walked out, and from the looks of things, we made the right decision. Run, don't walk, to Uduppi Dosa house -- they know how to treat people. We'll never go back to this place, and I've been going there since it was the Bucks county diner.

Consistently good food, if a bit pricey. Enjoyable visual atmosphere. A little dark, in my opinion, but adds to the brand. I've always had sandwiches, rather than the ribs, and they are always good. The service is variable by server, in my experience, but is generally good. Nice place, for sure.

Uno Chicago Grill

Up until very recently, I regarded this Uno's as just another chain joint. The manager here has an affinity for craft beer and has instituted a rotating tap policy. Where only bud, coors, and miller flowed before, I have recently had a steady stream of Dogfish Head, Southern Tier, and St. Bernardus amongst many many others, some on tap, many in bottles. They appreciate craft beer, which is more than I can say for most chains in the area. Cheers to this location for stepping in a new direction. The food is delicious too, but this place is about great beer. BTW, fantastic over the top service.
