Great company, good food, crappy service. But, I'm a sucker for good bacon, so I will come back and try it at least once more.
Get the chicken tortilla soup. Don't question me, just get it. The rest of our food was decent, and you get HUGE portions. When I didn't like the tequilas listed in their margaritas, they were willing to put my favorite tequila on the rocks with lime juice. YAY! Service was a bit slow. There was only one waitress on duty. Dinner for 3, with drinks and tip was about $70.

I agree with one black man. The food was decent, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again. When I went the highlight was the people I was hanging out with - not the food. Also - when I wanted a Bellini - they couldn't do it. They were doing a special raspberry Bellini, but couldn't do a standard belini. For a place that pushes their brunch that seemed really weird to me.

Decent property, located just off the freeway, but far away enough that we didn't hear freeway noise in our room. The elevator was DREADFULLY slow and I didn't see easily accessible stairs. The attached "casino" was kind of depressing, and VERY smokey. The attached restaurant has PHENOMENAL chicken tortilla soup. Overall, I slept well, had a nice shower, enjoyed the bath products provided - HOWEVER, I felt it was priced a little high for what we got and where we were located. And the AAA discount was only $5. Really - $5.....le sigh.

We stopped by during the middle of the week for brunch. The food was a decent value for the money. However, I agree with Ieesha M, the service leaves something to be desired. Even though they weren't a lot of other people in the restaurant, when a fork dropped, it was easier for me to just grab one from a nearby table than wait for a server.

It's a little darker than I'm comfortable with, but I like to be able to see what's going on. I found a really cute clutch here one day while I was shopping - post pedicure. I wish they had more comfy places to wait - that would bump it up to four stars. It seems like there's some wasted space.
It was a reasonable amount of food for the price, but I won't go out of my way to come here again. All of the items in my burrito tasted fine, but it wasn't wrapped tightly. UGH. But the staff was really nice.
I can't believe I haven't reviewed them already......Decent sushi at decent prices, plus the bottomless sake.....mmmmmmmm

Almost Perfect Used Books

I actually made a u turn to go here, and it was worth it! I'm planning for a road trip, so I'm in the market for audio books and cheap used paperbacks. I found several audio books [on tape - but I still have a tape player] for $1.50. I got a stack of used books for $3 each. There were a few display books that were priced higher than I expected based on where they were located in the store. The staff was very helpful, she even pointed out that the audio books were tape not CD before she rang me up. When she gave me the total I realized I had picked up one new book by mistake and she quickly took that out of my stack and revised my total. If you're in the area, it's worth a stop.
We had fun, but there's room for improvement. Initially it was WAY to bright, I had done nighttime make up and under those lights my dramatic eyes looked whorish. Eventually they turned them down. Also, the music was soooooo loud it was hard to hear. This made it hard to have a conversation and meet people. Considering it's a LOUNGE I expect to be able to talk without yelling. Finally, they switched to plastic cups partway through the night. That always irks me.
