If ever there was a tough client to have... it would be us.  Drew was extraordinary in his support, guidance and recommendations in working with us.  We were able to complete our project on time (in fact finishing before the agreed upon time) as well as on budget. We wanted to be very involved in this big project as it has been long a dream of ours.  Drew recognized this and worked with us to make this possible.  We were very involved during the whole process, from choosing how we were going to re-layout the new floor plan to deciding what type of fixtures we were selecting on the cabinets in the new kitchen.   Drew was extremely flexible during the process, providing us with options and suggestions during key parts that made our decision process a lot smoother.   Drew was very up front with costs of the project, providing a line item approach and giving detail on what the costs were. This was extremely helpful as it always kept us inform as to how we were doing against the overall budget without guessing.   The experience with Drew from start to finish and with all of his sub contractors was extremely smooth.  Each partner that Drew brought in was professional, very nice to be around and most importantly were excellent craftsman.

Definitely might be more of "guy thing." But trains are pretty fascinating and model trains seem to have a way to mesmerize me... thankfully my son too.   The Randall Museum in Ashbury Heights houses the Golden Gate Model Railroad club.  The museum itself is pretty cool too as it is also home to some rescued animals such as Owls, Falcons, and raccoons, this is definitely a great place to swing by on a rainy day to spend an hour or so.  And because of the Randall museum's location --- you can swing through Cole Valley or Noe Valley for a late lunch or early dinner.

3 stars for the food... but 5 stars for the views.

The place does need some dressing up... getting time for a new paint job and the indoor decor could be a bit different... it would be great if it went for more of "brewery" feel.   The buffet is a good bargain but the dinners are kind of pricey.  However, they give you a lot of food and it is pretty good... not the best food on the coast but a great place to stop in and get some calamari, a beer and watch the sunset.  Even when the fog is around the views of Linda Mar (both Ocean and Montara Mountains) are pretty amazing.     People are real nice... for those in tow - bring your own crayons... good place to go after a day at the beach if you are in the mood for some dinner... or...  On those nice days when parking is jammed - it would be worth it to come down early - grab some b-fast and then head over the beach

Would I go here on a date night... hmm... probably not... would I go here with the 2 year old.. absolutely.  The food is good and the place is loud.  We have been here several times after work on a Friday and you'd swear it was happy hour for toddlers.  Great place to get a beer, some food and color.  We make this a regular stop after haircuts at the Just Kids Cuts a few blocks away.

Great salad/pasta bar. Reminds me of some of the corner delis in NYC.  Good for quick lunch stop... Very clean lots of variety - they even have sliced up burritos.   They also have indoor seating and they take Visa - with no signatures under $25.... this might seem stupid but when your in a rush - one less thing to deal with.

Good stuff - not to expensive but makes you feel like you are at high end spa.  Love the hot towel on the face during the hair wash.... and most importantly the hair cut is great.  Ask for Shelly

A good choice to bring the family after a day hanging out at the beach or shopping on main street.  The atmosphere (outside and inside) is appealing - a better option than a typical pizza joint or family style restaurant.  The beers are cold, the pizza is good (and so are the wings) and there are a few TVs so you can catch some of the afternoon highlights on ESPN.    Besides the typical crayons for the kids... the waitress also brought out some dough for my son to play with.

Pretty Damn good.   Great place to go for a work dinner or for a romantic dinner.  Not too loud - food is very tasty and presented well.  Wait saff is not pushy.

Hmm.... I am going to update this based on the above review, bummer about the experience Liz had.  We are now bringing our 3 1/2 year old here - and they are super with him. Patient and not scary.  Definitely still a 5 star experience

the funny thing is that i am not a huge starbucks fan... but here is another place in the downtown area that is good to go for an informal business meeting.... there is parking close by at 275 Battery Street (CITY PARK) and City Park takes Credit Cards.. which when you are living on the expense check this is the place to park.
