once again I will not be physically participating in the walk, I donated almost 40% of the funds raised, myself and the corporation I work for was kind enough to give 25% of the funds generated.

I bought posters, car magnets, took out facebook ads, had a custom URL..and in the end after spending my own 75. to promote..(even if I added it to the total) I still did not get close enough.

I do believe its very honorable to try to get funds to participate, and I do not fret about if I get enough to participate, but I am not wealthy and cannot come up with the total amount to get into the actual walk.

I know allot of people actually give their own money to participate, which is great, however, I cannot be one of them.

to Tamika who was upset by the fact that there is a minium to participate, that is the case with these walks that are multiple days. Because of the amount of work / slag / medical and insurance and costs for putting people in tents, providing medical care and feeding them for 2-3 days...

just know that you should be proud of any amount you do raise..

they have really improved their organization store is really well presented now with displays and ornamentation. You can tell they are heavily influenced by their older sister TJMax.

My Dear friend is a member of this club, she was sponsored by her mother in law. This is the 3rd year now that I have attended their yearly club play....it was soo much fun and it is such a sweet club. .Really a nice thing to know older social clubs like this still exist. This one happens to be of regents wifes from UC Berkeley.

nice scenic metered walk. no thought goes into going for a walk around this place. perfect for what I would consider a light stroll or walk, but I think its a great training spot for a beginning walker/runner
