Actually, they don't exist anymore.  they closed at the end of Sept '06 and sold all of their stock off.

Pretty good -

My second Ethiopian place since I moved here in October.  The service was benignly neglectful.  You sit down and get a glass of water.  If you want something else, better ask for it - they won't ask you what you want to drink.

I had the Gored Gored (spiced beef). After ordering, the woman who was cooking that night came out and asked if I had had it before. She was a little concerned because they serve it raw. I was surprised, since every other place where I had ordered it had served it rare. We ended up agreeing to serve it lightly cooked.

Bottom line - the meat was excellent!  But the surprise was that's all we got.  I'm used to getting a bunch of side dishes with an entree - various kinds of lentils, veggies, etc.

My girlfriend ordered a lamb dish. it was a little tough and over cooked.

Bring cash - no credit cards.

Am I too old to be in here?  I'm 33 - and I felt like maybe i was too old to be in this place. I almost felt like they were trying really hard to be a little punk - kind of a kinder, gentler punk.

the music was loud... don't expect to hold a conversation with the stylist.  when you're telling her what you want, expect to repeat yourself.

the cut was OK, but the stylist was much more interested in her conversation with everyone else than with my hair. I've had worse cuts, and this one could have been better, but i didn't feel like staying and repeating myself to get the cut i wanted.

I had already been in the chair for 30 minutes - which is any eternity for a men's cut. That  was just the cut... i didn't get a wash, or anything else.

the cost was fair - $17. If i go back, I'll definitely avoid this stylist.
