After reading Nobu K. and Toro E.'s reviews, it has been on my "To Try" list for the longest time.
The entrance is conspicuous and finally I noticed the littlest sign.....
The host/server/probable wife of the chef is super warm and courteous and service was right on. She explains every item on the omakase offering and I truly enjoyed all bits of it! Omakase is the way to go and thanks to Zendesk girl and hubby for a wonderful time!

Met up with my cousin in nearby Vernon area and she suggested Little Tokyo for lunch. Don't remember being in Little Tokyo so that was a fun idea. Parking is supposed to be challenging but after turning around half a block we scored parking with a broken meter. Halleluja!! We hit jackpot, free parking in LA, what is not to like about that.

We walked a short distance to TOT and cousin was raving about their bowl salads, we were famished and quickly ordered. Quick little interior and service was fast. I love unagi so I settled for the Dragon Bowl (Fresh water eel, avocado, artificial crab meat, nori seaweed and carved egg
on sushi rice with wasabi mayonnaise) a lil mayo is not harmful... :)
Cousin sis had the avocado tuna bowl which looks absolutely delicious as well. We caught up over lunch, munch munch, yum yum, it was soooooooooo good, I thoroughly enjoyed my "bowl" Huge portion, fresh and just oozing with yumminess....the bill was $20+ for two persons sans dessert coz cousin had a better idea for dessert elsewhere....
Wished I could be back in LA more often! I heart TOT and Little Tokyo, cute shops!

Who is not to like Twin Peaks...every out of towner that we bring up there, will go ooo'ing and aaaahh'ing about this spot! Ok, provided on a clear bright sunny day....we've gone up there when it was foggy and windy and that is not something to be desired, well at least not to out-of-towners who are aiming for the sweeping views of the Bay and the city!
We've spent a lovely birthday evening there as well with cake, candles and knife in tow, wonderful moment....sigh, I miss SF!

Brought my car in to get a quote for a possible sale, the salesguy offered a slightly higher value compared to the SF location. But in the end, I didn't end up going to them since I had a better sale privately. :)

Bf bought his new Ultimate Driving Machine from here though several years but back then, he got a pretty decent deal from a salesperson but unfortunately the person is no longer working there...

I guess they could be a third party vendor for Four Seasons? We needed to get some paper work faxed and the staff was super efficient, helpful and all done within minutes. In and out the door.

Nightmarish experience but we are glad we finally received our shipment! Horrible customer service (if that even existed). Perhaps we could have found a better option but we were tight on schedule. Maybe they are better with other shipments rather than personal household shipments.

During my recent trip to Asia, I opted for the cheaper flight from Europe and the only option that came up with the better connection time was KLM. There was only an hour of layover in Amsterdam which was perfect but Schipol airport is somewhat old and dark. When boarding the airplane, I noticed an air of staleness and the plane and seats were somewhat aged! My seat was even sorta malfunctioned but to my advantage as it was in a reclining mode the entire flight! It was annoying that several flight attendants kept asking me to "put my seat in the upright position" but after several reminders that the chair was broken, they apologized and they suddenly "remembered!"

The food was horrible, I barely ate (Cathay and Austrian Airlines have way better quality of food!!!), just a miserable flight overall. Price is definitely reasonable but not sure if I can survive another 13 hour ordeal!!

We've been here in the past just to browse around but fiance came during the holiday season to pick up some goodies for his friend's birthday. We found a few pieces but decided on one pullover and which the friend adored by the way. He wore it on the ski trip when we saw him next.

No lines at the checkout counters, friendly staff and it was an easy shopping day eventhough it was crowded everywhere else. :)

We didn't end up using these guys for the move but the guy who came out to give us the estimate was on time, professional and had no fuss but he was the only guy who came out to actually check the apartment out prior to the move since he said he would prefer to give an estimate close to the actual cost. Kudos!!

I came across Roger the Box Man on an ad and his prices for moving boxes and supplies were a good deal! We called him and met him with his truck of supplies. We wished we had gotten more boxes from him for our move since we ended up getting more boxes from another place which was slightly higher priced.

Cash only.
