Rest of the menu was decent, but meh. Stir fries are done well but didn't knock my socks off. An option if you're in the neighborhood and want something slightly different and not so pricy.
What I remembered from a banquet: vegetarian ma po tofu, Sichuan beef (water cooked beef), stir fried string beans, Chengdu fried rice, tea (smoke?) duck, three pepper chicken. I also like the appetizers- cold tendon in hot oil, cold tripe in hot oil.

For those less fluent in French, they have menus in multiple languages and the staff speaks English.
For me, it's all about spicy pork and short ribs. They were well marinated and tasty. Yes, the buffet has other meats and cuts but those stood out along with the plain pork belly.
For the amount and quality of of food I ate, an equivalent at non-buffet would have cost more. And that is including the banchan, purple rice, etc., all of which were decent; I couldn't stop eating the mandu (dumplings).

Went for a mid-afternoon meal and drinks with a large party. I ordered the cask ale and food off the German menu. Liked the cask ale and the wurst patter was tasty and filling.

Decent Shangainese food with a liquor license. They had beverages such as Shaoxing rice wine and maotai. You could make the whole meal out the soup dumplings (xiao long bao). Other hits: pork shoulder, stir fried rice cakes, potstickers.
Meh were the lion's head meatball.
Good service, though it probably helped that I spoke Mandarin (no one else in our group did, however) and stuck with typical Shanghainese dishes.
