My wife has been reading about how great these bagels are. Today I decided - finally - that it was time to try one. We decided to hit up Mozarts this morning to check out the selection. I went with an Everything bagel. From the first bite, I was a believer. Just like everyone seems to say about them, it had a nice firm crust but the inside was chewy and not bread-y. I loved every bite of it. I can't wait to get another.
I just went here this morning. I don't think I will be hungry for anything else today, because I ate so much this morning. The Monument is ... MONUMENTAL, in my opinion.
Today was my first visit ever. My father-in-law has been wanting to go, so he is the main reason we even went. I didn't ever go to the previous location, but this one was done so well, and right. It is very big, the decor is a great combination of classic and modern.
We experienced great service, even though I saw that some people had service issues. Not sure what was up with their time, but ours was great from a service aspect.
Today I ordered the 2 eggs, peppered bacon, hashbrowns, biscuits w/ gravy, along with coffee. My pop-in-law also ordered one of each the fresh squeezed orange juice and the grapefruit juice.
The eggs (farm fresh eggs) were yellowest of yellow. The peppered bacon was cooked perfectly, not too soft and not too hard. The biscuits were almost like rolls. I am not a big gravy guy, but I dipped in it some, and it was acceptable as well. The hashbrowns, also a great selection were cooked well and had great flavor.
You *have* to try one of the fresh squeezed juices - orange or grapefruit. They were SO good.
I love the fact that this place uses all fresh ingredients - nothing they serve is frozen. They even have a garden in the back of the restaurant outside and herbs growing out front.
We decided that the Monument is going to be a tradition for us - not sure how often but definitely some sort of tradition.
We topped off our time (@ 9:30am) with a piece of chocolate pie. There are no words. It was delectable.
One last thing, is price. It is a bit on the pricey side. Thankfully today, we were treated to our meal. I think next time, I might order a-la-carte, or order the full plate again and my wife can share some of it and order a-la-carte. There are definitely ways to enjoy the food, and not go broke though.

The carnitas are a party in your mouth! I ordered two individual tacos a-la-carte (the way to go!). I ordered a carnitas and a fajita steak taco. Both of them were delicious.
I wanted to visit again before leaving town, but we tried going for lunch and they were not open until 5.

My wife and I went here last night. We are staying in Burnet temporarily and decided to try this place out. It has been around since 2006 and seems to be doing well.
Service: As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a lovely lady who took us to our table. She asked if we had been there before, we said 'no'. Then she said that everybody deserves for their back to be rubbed - so she scratched both of our backs for a good couple of minutes. So sweet!
The food: we ordered the fajitas (beef and chicken combo for 1) and split them between the two of us. Plenty of food for us. The meat was awesome. Tasting their beef makes me want to try their ribs. The fajitas came with rice and beans, and some really good pico and guacamole.
I definitely want to go back, because they had a lot of great things on their menu. The name would make you think it is just mexican food, but it is a combo of Mexican and BBQ. I want to try the ribs and the chile relleno at some point. If you are nearby, it is worth a visit to the Maxican.

I absolutely love Lola. My wife and I dropped in a few months back, when we were looking into moving nearby. As soon as we walked in and sat down, we knew that this would be a favorite place if we moved. The decor inside is perfect - trendy but comfortable and functional. The bar area and the benches along the wall are awesome. And not to mention the drip coffee, it's awesome. I like to order it in a cup and camp out for a while. And, you can order food from next door (The Grove).

This place is great. I have been here twice so far, and have enjoyed it both times. I have only been for lunch thus far. When I went last weekend, my wife and I split the hummus wrap. I was taking a chance here because I typically wouldn't order it on my own. But, I have to say that I was very happy with our choice. It was a great tasting and filling lunch.
We went here because even though there were only two reviews on Yelp, they were really good reviews.
I ordered the carnitas tacos, and my buddy ordered the tilapia. The tilapia tacos were fried - forgot to ask whether they were fried or grilled. The carnitas had a good flavor, and the corn tortillas were fresh and good as well.
The main bummer about this, was that we couldn't order individual tacos and mix up our selection. I personally did not want 3 tacos with sides, and all the same type of tacos.

We had the Panang Curry - thai comfort food, for sure. The sauce was kind of a coconut milk/panang curry sauce. The main substance of the dish was super tender chicken and bell peppers with a hint of lemon verbena for seasoning. Crazy good!
I've been going to Philip since early 2003 before he had his own salon. Everyone knows Philip in Waco on a first-name basis. He is always willing to take a risk and add his own style to a cut, yet still give you what you ask for.
