I've been thinking about the need for women's consignment stores which have higher quality, more desirable items... Not Old Navy, not the Gap, not really anything I could afford full price. That's where Revolve fills the void: they only take higher end womens clothing (think Ann Taylor and above). I stopped in their store yesterday, and although they aren't technically open for business, the owner is accepting clothing now to stock her shelves for the official grand opening December 1.

What I saw I liked, although some of the merchandise seemed to skew to an older audience. I'm curious to see what her inventory will look like after she's completely up and running.

Anywho, here are the deets in case you're a mom who's never gonna fit into her old clothes or go back to work while they're still in fashion. You can bet I'm taking my stuff in.

Guidelines for Consigning

o IN SEASON- Currently accepting fall and winter items
o IN STYLE- Contemporary fashion... Usually within the last two years
o IN GREAT SHAPE- Items that are clean and in excellent condition

All prices are determined by Revolve. Revolve periodically will mark down items. Seller receives 40% of final selling price. Revolve reserves the right to refuse merchandise. All clothes are left at the risk of the consignor. We cannot be responsible for loss of clothing from fire, damage, theft or any other reason. All items that are not sold must be picked up by the consignor within a 7 day period or they will be donated to charity. Clothes are kept for a 90 day period.

We are accepting consignement this week and next from 10 am until 2 pm. Accepting winter and fall attire. (Sorry no wedding gowns, undergarments or sleepwear.)

I ordered the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and caramelized onions, and I was in gluttony heaven. The teeny tiny onions were cooked til they were sweet, and the filet had a crisp shell surrounding the softest, pinkest meat that I could cut with a spoon. The potatoes were made with love (and BUTTER) and more love (and MORE BUTTER), and they were wonderful. My plate was clean as a whistle when I stood up and rubbed my belly because it was about to burst.

The waitstaff was awesome, kept my glasses full, and made some smart recommendations for the meal. A real gem in Stoneham.

Alright, already - it's finally here. With a parking attendant to direct people through the incredibly idiotic parking lot, to boot. If you MANAGE to find a spot, steal it and be thrilled.

The inside's just like every other TJs, but if you were lucky - like moi - you were able to score some free shopping bags on opening day. This store seems more spread out than other TJs, so you can take your time looking at the products in awe.

The best dish we ordered was the pumpkin potato curry-ish thing, but the rest of our dinners weren't as flavorful. They were beautifully presented, but just really didn't have the flavor. Made me sad.

I'll go back again to try dishes that are specifically mentioned through other reviews, but not to have anything we already ordered. :(

I got a really uncool letter from the IRS saying that I owed something like $5K to them. I panicked, searched yelp, and found DiDi's five star review. I took my taxes in, and within 5 minutes Tom had discovered the error I made while using TurboTax.... Ouch.

But THEN, Tom asked some questions and found that the IRS owed ME some money - so I ended up ahead! Now that's a CPA who knows his stuff! Thanks, Tom!

We walked in and were immediately greeted. Our salesman measured my daughter's feet quickly and got a pair of shoes on her in record time - these guys know how to work with kids. Very satisfied with customer service and the shoe recommendations.

The owner stopped me and my buddy and had a lovely conversation with us. Not just a "How ya doing?" but a full fledged, opinion stating conversation about life in general and parenting inabilities on the rise. I think I love Jam N Java for having someone on board with an opinion.

The coffee was better, the snacks were better... I think the Jam has turned a corner. :) !

$4 for 5 one ounce pours of wine? That's a $4 glass of wine! I didn't have any wines that I HAD to have, but I tried a lot that were good. A LOT.

Then I went outside to their lovely picnic area, completely deserted today - a weekday at 11:15 AM - and enjoyed the views, the crisp fall air, and the feeling of the warm sun on my face as my body processed the alcohol so I could safely drive home. It was great. A small slice of Napa in the middle of rural Massachusetts.

We moved from CA to MA about 3 years ago, and since then, I've been to many different groomers. We are unable to find anyone who can match the quality of the cuts that Top Dog gives. The prices at Top Dog are extremely reasonable, too. the staff is great... So sad.

Everybody was kung fu fighting..... for a parking spot.
You had to be fast as lightening... to grab one in the regular lot, not the satellite lot.

Everything's already been said by other reviewers, so I won't bore the crap out of you trying to pretend that I know anything about Korean markets. All I know is any place that has a food court AND 3,000 kinds of noodles and dried mushrooms gets minimum of 4 stars in my book.
