B&B - Burger and Beer Joint
Categories: Sports Bars, Burgers
We started with the wings, fried pickles and Mac n cheese. The PICKLES were the ShiZ! I have been a fan of fried pickles now for about 10 years and Im happy to see them popping up on menus. The wings were also pretty bad ass. The mac n cheese....meh. ok, not great, not bad.
The burgers I was not impressed with. Nothing cures a hangover like a juicy flavorful burger!! This was not the case here. Like stated before in someone elses review, the burger was pretty flavorless. It was even topped with BACON and cheese, and I was still not impressed. And WHY cant you just create your own burger? Whats up with that?!
Also, I got the duck fat fries... I have had these at Bourbon Steak, and they blew my mind. Here, at B&B, I think I ate 1, and was all set. They are just giant steak cut fries that taste like they were cooked in a normal fryer.
And our food waitress, though very pretty, didnt seem to have her game face on. It would take at least 10-15 (I Swear!!!) to get our drinks...
Im sure Ill be back, cause the sports bar was fun, and the bartender Angela was pretty freaking awesome. The Miller lites were icy, and they had all the games I wanted to see.
They are so professional, and have it all together! The woman running this event even went as far to make sure that they bride and groom sat down and ate! AND, they made them special to-go boxes so they would have food for after the wedding!
I am blown away. It was just perfect.

They have free WiFi which is always good, and the breakfast sandwiches are small, but yummy. My only gripe w this place is the magazine selection. Its obvious that someone that works there brings in their old mags, but, correct me if Im wrong here, but who wants to dig through 50 copies of Wired magazine on a sunday morning?
Here are some suggestions, and maybe customers can even contribute?
Vogue, Bon Appetite, People, Travel, Elle, Rollingstone, Gourmet, Details, Self, GQ.... I could go on and on.
Ok, thats it. I love this place and cant wait to get back!
We went here for a post wedding breakfast and were all exhausted, and hungover from the night before. It was POURING rain that morning so we wanted somewhere cozy. This was not it.
1st of all, we are all convinced that the air conditioning was blowing out of a vent in the ceiling. mind you, that it was 38 degrees outside. It was also SO cold, that we had to oder extra homefries, cause the ones on our plate were ICEY. Not to mention, our main entrees were not even room temp. Drinks took forever, the server, Sam hardly ever checked on us.
All we wanted, was some mimosas and bloody marys and Warm comforting food.
Aside from the food being cold, it was pretty okay in the taste department.
I'll stick to the bar downstairs and drink the Grand Marnier to stay warm.
My friends love this place, so Im sure Ill continue to give it another try at which point I will post an update.
So far, this is the best place I have found for breakfast, and its CHEAP! Its really cute inside, and the servers are pretty nice. I got the irish benedict which was poached eggs over corned beef hash. I mean seriously? It was amazing.
I have heard they are open late night, but I have yet to try it out.
