Because I've tanned off and on for almost 15 years, I've visited my fair share of salons. When the two Electric Beach, Irvine, locations closed, I was on the hunt to find a new "tanning" home. Tan at the Islands is located in the beautiful, new Arbor Shopping Center. The staff is warm and friendly, and in my experience, low pressure. The facility is beautifully decorated and clean, and the beds are high-grade; I get terrific results. I've also purchased sunglasses from this salon - in fact, they're my favorite pair right now.

This gentleman refused to come out and give us an estimate on our AC, unless we paid him $90. My husband said he'd check with me and we'd call him back; he didn't like that. Dropped the F bomb, and hung up. With all the great people out there, there's no way we'd give our business to someone like this.
I had a terrible experience with Ayres during my wedding. Actually, the night before my wedding, the manager at the Ayres at Mission Viejo gave me the worst customer experience of my life - my fiancée and his wedding party had to move rooms three times. It was a disaster, and on top of that, the manager was terribly rude to me when I called. It was the last thing I needed, the night before my Big Day.
My husband and I stayed there the night of our wedding, and again, disappointment. The rooms I have come to expect from Ayres, were not at this hotel. The room I had to spend my wedding night in was dark, dingy, poorly decorated, and just depressing.
Staying at your hotel is the one thing about my wedding I'd change. And it's a shame, because I had been staying at Ayres for years - and had always spoke highly of them to others. Show owner comment »

This place has a terrific happy hour schedule and pricing; $5 for a large house margarita, with Cazadores ... delicious. They're chips are fresh and the salsa is tasty too; be sure to try all three kinds.
Love, love, love this place. I've had at least five different therapists work on me, and they were all incredible. I highly recommend their monthly massage club too, the value can't be beat. I've especially enjoyed Vince, Raven, and Yvette.
We had a terrific time here yesterday. It's like mini-golfing in in a botanical garden. Clever holes too.
Really delicious pizza and Italian food. Fast and friendly service, fun/quirky atmosphere with an ocean view :)
I don't like writing bad reviews but this place gave me the worst fill of my life.
I tried to get my nails done after work -- since my Nail Artist is prego -- to hold me over until I could get to my place in Foothill Ranch. HUGE mistake.
Nice, large facility but again, worst fill of my life. The girl even messed up on my gel, big time. It looked awful. Never again.
