I was surprised to get a response from the owner wanting to know what they could do better, to me that's a sign of good business.

And the best I could come up with was to say make sure that people can hear each other at their own table without having to shout

As to the rest of my 3 stare experience it had more to do with having my 1 year old and my in-laws and nothing to with Phil's so I'm giving them a fourth star.

My Wife and I just bought a Chevy Traverse last weekend. This was by far the best car buying experience I have I had. I can honestly say that our sale person (Ed Carr) did everything he could to get us the best deal. He was able to get us a discount and get us a better finance rate than we could get at our credit union. I would recommend Ed to anyone in North County looking to by a car, when the time comes we will probably buy our next car from Ed.

He did such a good job with her that we hired him to be our agent when we sold our condo and he did an amazing job!

Gabe also was our agent when we bought our first house, the house was owned by a crazy family trust, with a couple of rich nuts people who were really mean (think Paris Hilton meets Cruella Deville) and their real estate agent was an absolute incompetent retard who didn't know what she was doing. Gabe kept us from getting screwed by them time and time again.

And now we have the kind of home we were dreaming about.

Gabe is now our official Real Estate Agent for our entire family

Great Cheese steak.

The cabin was nice, the management was horrible.
We rented a cabin for a family reunion.
Four of the chairs in were broken and could not be used. The jacuzzi was filthy.

Here's the kicker Big Bear Cool Cabins over charged us $800. So instead of refunding the difference they "accidentally" proceeded to charged our credit card again for the entire amount including the over billing of $800, so now they owe us over $4000.

Update: after having to get an attorney and having American Express open up an investigation into Big Bear Cool Cabin's fraudulent overcharges they refunded the proper amount and the bill was settled 3 months later.

BEWARE don't give them your credit card and make them quote your the amount in writing if your dare to do business with Big Bear Cool Cabins

Had a really good hamburger there. Caramelized onions were very tasty. The pasta salad was very good, even the little bits of garlic. The food was very good, it was worth the onion garlic breath.

I bought a lifetime membership several years ago, it has served me well everywhere that I have lived, no I only pay $50 bucks a year.

They only problem is that 24 hour fitness has absolutely no respect for for your personal information. It was time for annual renewal, only I was out of state at a funeral on the day my contract was up. I'll give them a pass for the first phone call that happened at the funeral from some telemarketer trying to get me to pay up. It was seven proceeding phone calls that day that really pissed me off as I had told the original caller I was in the middle of  funeral and would take care of the payment next week.

Well, ever day that I was away out of state I received seven to eight phone calls a day. When I returned I showed the manager my phone call log and asked him to explain why I needed over 50 phone calls in one week to renew my membership.

They had no explanation.

The only thing they could offer was to remover my phone number from their system.

So today (7weeks later) I get a phone call from my mother (who lives in retired in another state) that 24 Hour Fitness is calling her at 9:00 in the morning to update my records and get my phone number.

IF THERE WERE A WAY TO GIVE 24 HOUR FITNESS ZERO STARS I WOULD DO IT.

This place was great, normally it is way over priced as far a food goes, but we went during an "early bird special" and our group of four had two two for one coupons, they honored all of them. I can;t say you will get the same deal but for the money it was a great time. Fondue is always a great way to eat with a group, its a good experiences, but you do have to look for the deals, 'cause it can get pricey.

You can eat anything there and it's great, but you really should get extra chips (they're made right there). Extra guacamole never hurts either.

This place has good margaritas and is a great place to have group meetings. Its one of the few places in Old Town that has a parking lot, so you can invite people to see classic San Diego and they won't have to worry about parking. There outdoor seating is has great views from the balcony.
