I was really impressed. We came in out of the cold and rain last Sunday and were greeted. Had a killer lunch. Shanghai dumplings, general tso chicken, chicken chow mein and kung po tofu.

It was all amazing, really spicy and delicious. I would for sure go back anytime we are in mountain view!

My BF was crying it was sooo good. I am southern and love the creole with the best of them!!! Umm, what can I say aside from amazing.

We had the combo 1 lb mix. Amazing. Gumbo, delicious, as this is what made the BF cry and then the garlic chicken wings. We are coming back this Friday as he wants to make this a weekly pilgrimage. Side note, Joel the gentleman who runs the place at night is on it and seems to run the place quite well, keeping the rif raf away!

Red Crawfish, I heart you. This go around, I shall be trying the Vietnamese food!

This was the nicest Red Robin I have ever been too. I was shocked beyond belief. Jason was out server and what a doll. Did not miss a beat. We had the onion ring tower which was amazing!!! The BBQ sauce was beyond delicious!!!! I had a cheese Burger and my lovahhhhhhhhh the chicken sand. It all was amazing. I would go back in a heart beat if I could find it. BF was giving me driving directions, so could be hard:) Dawn the manager came over and sat with us. How friendly was she? We had a lovely chat a roo and she gave us the low down on the new restaurant. RR2 I will come back as often as I can!!!

Came in with the BF this Sunday afternoon.  Odd that not a lot is open in San Mateo on Sunday.  Who knew.  Anyway, the waiters were sooo nice, I mean over the top nice, 4 stars for sure.  Bf had the Kobe beef burger with bacon and chesse.  Yummers, it was truely delicous.  Curly fries were and order.  Unfortunatley the soda was flat, I hate when that happens. Ahhhh..  But my cobb salad was OK,  Not the best by any stretch of the imagination, but it was fine for what it was.  Would I go back, yes, but I would stick to the burgers.

Solid choice. As the KOT has been franchised out, as in a million around town, I am always curious as it seems to be hit or miss. My go to the the 1 on Clement, yet I thought what the hell.

I was shocked. Menu was abbreviated, yet the food was very good. And side note, how is it possible everything is 5.00?? At first i thought it was cheese that they had all the signs all the walls in color paper stating 5.00, yet it was true. Chicken Larb was awesome, regardless of tehe fact my dad wanted to call is lard. Nice.... Egg rolls were yummy and satay was especially good!!

Stuck with the other stand bys, pad see eww, pad thai and green curry. Cake walk. Food was awesome, I shall for sure be back!

Horrible, awful I do not know how they are still in business. After telling my parents this place was lacking in flavor they insisted we go. I will never come back. I had the Chinese chicken salad and it was HORRIBLE!! NO flavor, blah, iceberg lettuce, no dressing, nothing was in it that was listed on the menu. Dad had the chicken and veg. Again flavorless and blah. For some reason they have fancy tea service. Why not focus more on the food and pass on the tea. I will never come back as this was the 2nd time I have been and both times the food is horrid.

Yes, this is a 4 star location. I came for THE DINNER a few weeks ago. Ma and Pa meeting the gentleman of my life! Holy Hell fire and damnation. You knew this dinner had to be good or else it could go down hill real quick! Had reservations and the spot was packed. Fine, we were escorted to the bar. We sat and had drinks while we waited for our table. And so it began. Kir Royal for princess here, and sauv blanc for the rents.

Dinner and apps were fantastic. We had the scallops, calamari and white bean brushcetts!!! Allllll amazing. Scallops were especially good!

For the meal, my lovahhhhhhh has swordfish, mama had pasta, papa the lamb and I had the fish of the day. Allllll excellent yummy town. Everything was very savory.

My only yip is that it was loud, not a shocker. Yet had we sat outside I am sure it would have been a bit quieter. Alas for the holiday season, this is par for the course.

What the hell has happened to fine dining in SF? Every time I have been out for 'fine dining' this holiday season, restaurants have been seriously lacking!!!

I know the chefs left Aqua, but I feel that if the chefs who created the star worthy cuisine are gone, M stars should be yanked too. All I can say is that I was soooooo disappointed in the food. Service was on point, that was a 4 star, yet the meal was lacking and not savory at all.

Let me paint a picture. Last Thursday. It is my parents wedding anniversary, so we go for lunch. I will hand it to Aqua, everyone wished them well and happy anniversary etc. Our starters, were OK at best. I had the salad of the day. The Asian pears were 'sauteed' in my mind crunchy and not ripe do not equal sauteed and not very dressed.

Had the scallops. I had to send them back as they were undercooked. Ick. I love scallops, yet these gave me the willys as I was not up for being ill. My mom had the bankers lunch and said it was also just OK. We will not talk about what my father said. Anyway, my point is; $300 for lunch, you would hope it knocks your socks off. Aqua far from delivered like it has in the past. Please bring back the old chefs, or bring in some new ones to support the 2 M stars! I do want to come back, yet not willing to until food picks back up. Also, I noticed the molding the ladies loo was in disrepair. Hmmm, always disconcerting which was just another eh to the experience. Old Aqua, pls come back.

We had a great brunch on Sunday. Party of 8. Nick was our waiter and was on it for a table of misfits such as ourselves. ahahahaha. Everything we had was great, to say the least. I had eggs benny, so yum. BF had pulled pork which was bananas!!! Table had hash, french toast, baguette burger etc. Everything that I tasted was delicious!!! Satellite Balboa, you rock and my new go to in the Chill Valley!

Flew up from the coast to see some wonderful friends this weekend.  We got reservations to this wee gem, and made it all the way upstairs.  Down stairs is similar to Bourbon and Branch SF.  Upstairs it is a whole new world.  No douche bags, except for 1.  They only let in as many people as can have a seat.  10 spots = 10 people or less.  Love it.  This is not a meat market, yet a snazzy pants establishment!  Nathan, the wonderful bartender upstairs took amazing care of us!! Now this is something to note, which makes it all worth while.  There is no drink menu upstairs.  You are asked what flavors you like.  So if you are looking for crown and coke, this is not your place.  Would I go back?  In a heartbeat!!!
