An Italian variation on the Ice Cream. They had many less common fruit topping for purchase which looked great. The ice cream has more emphasis on the fruit than on the cream that places like Cold stone have. I had the mango gelato, a bit sour and unusual in a good way. Adequate portions. Nice and clean place. Overall I liked it.

Went to the bistro for brunch as we got into Traverse city for the weekend. Nice small french style bistro on away from the main downtown strip. Nice selection on the menu, would recommend to try the omlettes. I had the roast beef sandwich. Portions a bit small but good food. Service a bit slow but it was a busy time of the day. I would go back.

French dining in a really nice ambiance. The service is wonderful. The menu has nice variations of dishes. Portion size was more than enough. The place was crowded on a saturday evening and required a 40 minute wait for a party of four.
I had the roast chicken and my son had a steak. Their desert selection was excellent.
We really enjoyed our dinner. I would certainly go back again.

I was up there for dinner with my family on a recent trip. Having been there before in years past we decided to try again. One thing certainly is that the place has been consistent over the years. Service is above average, certainly adequate except for the fussiest. The food is the real attraction great taste and selection. Mostly burgers, fish and steaks. The kids had a good time too. We dined on a Saturday night the weekend after the fourth of July. We were seated in under 10 minutes. The place was full but without too much wait. We left by 8pm before the live music. Try it out if you are in the Dells area.

Stopped by there on our way home from Traverse city to Chicago as we were traveling down route 31. This place was close to where we were parked and decided to peak in. The place was old and decrepit. The bathrooms were dirty. The menus looked like they were typed on an old typewriter. Appears to be a run down pizza place. We decided to leave. Went The Grand down the block instead.

We were looking for a place to eat while driving home from Traverse City to Chicago along route 31 stopping to see the shoreline. We used Yelp to help us find someplace clean with good food. Unfortunately it was really hard to find a place with decent food between Beulah and Grand Haven. We really did not want the usual fast food places. We drove and drove till we got into Grand Haven to check out The Grand which appeared to have decent reviews. It is an old theater converted to look like a trendy dining place. I think they did a decent job with the ambiance considering that it is a small town.
The menu is diverse with a bit of american, asian etc. We had an order of calamari, which was okay, tasted more like breaded shrimp. I had the grouper which tasted good and was presented well.
My wife ordered Miso soup, which really deviated from the traditional simplicity of whole idea by adding onions to it. Just odd. Some great things are best left alone.
The kids had the seafood penne pasta which was really good served in a massive plate. They do not skimp on quantity.
The service was excellent. They were really trying hard to make this work.
A bit expensive but nice. Try it out if you are in town.
