There are trucks that call themselves Gourmet Food Trucks, then there are the real thing. These guys are the real deal!
I have been here twice when they visited Charter Oak High, and both times they were awesome.
1st visit I had the Kobe Slider, Jamacian Jerk Chicken Tacos, and Manchengo Fries. It was the best food truck fare I have had in a while.
They came back, so went again, this time we had the Oyster Slider & Cheddar Broccoli soup. Wife said the Oyster Slider was the best thing she has ever eaten off a truck, and possibly the best taste she had off a truck.
From great looking truck with TV, to the very personable order taker that I don't remember the name of (she remembered me & my family from our previous visit), to the real gourmet food (great job chef!), I would put this truck in my top 3.
The prices, like all food trucks, look high, such as 5 bucks a slider and 5 bucks for fries, but somethings are just worth the money. You can easily fill up for under 20 bucks, which is what you may pay eating out at a restaurant.
When they come back to my area, I will definitely be back!

Prices are about 6 for a burrito, similar to Chipotle prices, but not as good.

Held in the parking lot of Charter Oak High School, as a benefit to help the COHS band.
Different trucks every week.
1st week was Grill em' all, Grilled Cheese, Nom Nom, King Kone, and a couple other dessert ones.
2nd week was TapaBoyLA, Ta_Bom, MightyBoba, JoseOMalleys, & NaanStop.
Shorter Lines, great variety, lots of grass to sit on, lots of fun
Still hard to swallow the prices for these food trucks personally though.

The kid loves the indoor playground area and sometimes come just for that when it's hot outside. Avoid this place during the noon lunch rush, lines are crazy inside and out.

I was getting the same things over and over because they are amazing, but this week I saw a new item, Beef Machaca Tacos. These are now my favorite. This truck just gets better and better. These tacos are hard shell, with delicious beef and other toppings. Take some advice and give it a taste. I'm positive you'll like them.
I am not a fan of bread pudding, but gave it a go since I haven't been dissappointed by anything I've had here so far. This dish is a lot more tasty than what I imagined it would be. If you are hesitant, give that a try, definitely a treat. These chef's are both very creative and well talented!
Besides the great food, is the customer service. Angie, the order taker & face of the truck, will get out of the truck to come talk to you and tell you about all the items. She remembers a friendly face and always is smiling.
