We get free breakfast but we somehow never woke up early enough to try it. Oh well!
As for location, it's pretty close to where you want to be in Austin. It's conveniently near the freeway which is a good and bad thing. I personally never heard any freeway noise while in my room. But the only complaint is driving in the ramp to the hotel. It's just so awkward. If you miss it, you have to drive all around again to come back. It's just super awkward and a bit inconvenient at times but somehow you end up figuring out a way and you get used to it.
Parking is free which is lovely. If I were to book a hotel in Downtown Austin, I would probably have to pay parking fees. I saved a lot of money by staying at this boutique hotel.
The people working here are all very nice. However, the time of the day they come to clean your room is not consistent and they sometimes just knock and walk in while you're in the room in the morning so that was a bit weird. I guess next time I'll put a sign for DO NOT DISTURB.
Oh ya, something about the water or the toiletries are weird. When we use their soap, it just feels "oily". We're not sure if it's the water or the soap but something just makes our skin feel oily and not rinsed off completely. We didn't like that.
But overall, the place is clean, spacious, convenient to popular stuff in Austin, and price is very good. I'd still come back and stay here again if ever I come back to Austin.
