*3.5 stars*

I'm really puzzled as to how this place earned 2 Michelin stars...  One star -- yeah, I can see that, but two?  No way.

For one thing, the service we received was spotty at best.  The bus boy (are they still called that?) motioned to just flick off my napkin which was sitting on the charger onto the table as opposed to handing it to me. (I grabbed it from the charger instead... )  Also, our waiter disappeared sometime during our main course without letting us know... The waiter also took it upon himself to order another glass of wine for my DH... and it was put on our bill.  Maybe that's a New York thing?  We don't do things like that in California...

Food was very, very good.  It's the service that *earned* the place just 3.5 stars.  Price-wise, very reasonable.

My daughter loves getting her haircut with Daniella.  Daniella does a fantastic job and she's great with kids.

I LOVE fried chicken.  I really like waffles.  Sooo glad my first time having them together on one plate was at BSK!  I never thought I would still be raving and craving the waffles but I am!  Simply and totally awesome waffles.  Crispy, light and fluffy and totally delectable.  I cannot wait to go back.

So here's the lowdown: we were a party of 4 plus an infant (whom I held AWAY from MY food!).  They have their 4+ top tables by the door.  (I think only 3 tables).  Three of us ordered the chicken and waffles, and the other ordered a scramble of sorts.  She also enjoyed her food.  Two of us shared their potatoes, which I thought were a tad bit on the salty side.  The place is noisy but in a good way especially when my little one was being vocal (not crying), one couldn't tell she was making a peep.  Super small bathroom - not sure how anybody in a wheelchair could really make it in there...  The service was efficient and friendly.   And the place gets crowded.  Very crowded.

Yeah, it was a horrendously long wait - one and a half hours on a Sunday at 11:30 - but it was worth every second.  Seriously.  Now go.  And eat.

Originally ordered some chicken naan sandwich, but they were out of chicken so I ordered the paneer naan sandwich.  Wow!  What a sandwich!  Soooo delicious!

Baby Foodrat spotted this truck right off the bat today and of course, wanted ice cream.  It was in the high 90s, so really, how could I say 'no?'  She was in a vanilla mood today and proclaimed it to be "YUMMY!"  Already looking forward to next week and getting my own ice cream treat!

Two words:  DERBY CAKE!!!!!!!!!!!

If you love fresh strawberries and bananas with white cake and whipped cream, then this is the cake for you!  Cake was very moist; the whole combination of the cake/whipped cream/fruit was just devine!

Had this cake at Baby Foodrat's 3rd birthday party...  The quarter sheet cake was just enough for the 25ish kiddies plus parents...  DAMN!  I wanted seconds!  Actually, I was going to finish off some kid's cake but the party person at the bounce house threw it away.  I snooze, I lose.

Can't wait for the next occassion to order a cake... I will order the Derby Cake again!

Really, it's the perfect location with enough clean bathrooms.  Found free parking and dined w/ family who were clever enough to bring a (packable) table w/ them!  Oh yeah, and good eats but we're still scratching our heads as to how (and why!) we spent over $50 bucks worth of roach coach food.  My favorites of the evening was the rice crispy chicken sammich and lemonade at 3Sum Eats and the mocha(?) creme brulee at the Creme Brulee Cart.  Looking forward to going again.

I've been a patient of Dr. Lee's for many, MANY years...  The office is bare-bones but he gets the work done.  Cleanings are done by Dr. Lee himself, not a hygenist.

Great place for big groups and generally speaking, decent enough food.  I've dined here twice already, but during my latest visit, I wasn't as pleased with my food as it would seem (I cleaned my plate.  What?!).

K and I shared the bruschetta di cinghiale  to start.  Too bad the otherwise perfect wild boar was served on bruschetta that was soggy.

I ordered the flounder for dinner.  The flavor was there but the fish was way overcooked.  In hindsight I should have sent it back but I was starving and didn't want to wait...  I was also disappointed that the almond "crust" was soggy.  It would have been sooo nice if it had a crunch to it.  I really did enjoy that there were generous and tasty servings of broccoli rabe and black rice to accompany the fish.

Service was decent, or at least I didn't notice that there were any problems especially since we were a rather large party and with more than a couple of kids to boot!

Even though my meal wasn't the greatest, I'd be happy to return.

Mmmmm...  Yummy!  I made the husband take me here to satisfy a serious craving when I was still preggo...  And Loard's really satisfied!  It was a shame that I had to share my sundae.

Their ice cream brings back the best memories from my childhood.  Good, happy, yummy memories.  Where else can you get delicious butterscotch marble and butter brickle ice creams?!  Their sundaes are also really good!
