Usually, E-bar is hit or miss, usually missing tbh. I tend to choose the Macademia nut crusted Mahi mahi , or their Santa Barbara Burger with Sweet Potato fries and sometimes their calamari or fried shrimp as an appetizer.
Ok, the good things: the appetizers and the sweet potato fries are almost always going to turn out the same. Def a good choice esp if you're coming in for happy hour.
The bad: Came in here the other night for dinner since the location is pretty convenient and ordered the ultimate cheese burger, gf ordered the mahi mahi. Burger was good, but the bread was old. I seriously bet they thought by toasting it they could hide that but man, it was flaky as hell and the taste was off.
Half of the mahi mahi was really good. Usually one of their better items but when my gf touched the 2nd half, she stopped eating. I dont know if it was overcooked or just old because the fish was brown, did not taste that good and was very dry.
Contemplated on going to Cold Stone's for ice cream but it was late and I needed my chocolate fix. Wanted to order the giant cookie with ice cream but guess what, they dont make them anymore! wack.
So I got the brownie with ice cream and the freakin ice cream was freezer burnt. I know I know, I should have sent it back but I was tired, lazy, and the brownie was fine so whatever. I think that was the first time in my life a restaurant has served me bad ice cream. Now that I think about it, I'm moving the 2 stars to 1.

Goat Hill Pizza

Once you're at your seat, if someone's passing the pizza around you get your food asap, what restaurant does that? The slices are small the the dough is thin but you want it that way because you want to try everything! You can get the salad too but meh, I wanted the pizza =) After a while everything starts to taste the same but I had about 11 slices so yea, I might of over did it. Good place, def check it out esp if you live in sf.

They do have one thing over the original location - their variety of drinks they offer. Its almost as if they're experimenting with the new/hip flavors like oreo, pina cola, M.O.C.A madness, but the actual tapioca isn't as good.
Even with the Oreo, as good as it sounds, its hard to drink. Huge oreo chunks are at the bottom instead of blended well w/ the drink.
I'd rather drive to South City but I'll gladly accompany my gf or her sisters if they want to come here.

Wasn't expecting the bread w/ their velveta like sauce but it was nice, just rude that when we asked for another plate they said they were "running low." yea right! They really were just being stingy imo.
Had the Seabass Ceviche - very good! Lots of flavor, juicy, gone in a minute.
Scallops - Served on Sea Shells! Pretty cool and really really tasty, was scared with the cheese but no, just the right amount, probably my fav dish of the night.
Top Sirloin Entree - Umm, its good, the fries are surprisingly good, but its one of those dishes where your like...uh i think i'd rather get more appetizers but I was hungry and I like meat =)
Dessert - Picarrones i think they were called, they described them as a Peruvian Funnel cake with a pumpkin flavor. Ok, this dish is pretty awesome, but the American in me wanted that scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. Watch, get it and you'll see =P
At the end they gave us a sample of their Alfajores cookies. Ew!
Don't get me wrong, these cookies are my favorite but they told me these little guys taste just like the ones you can buy from them in a tin and man, very disappointing. I get my fix from this lady that makes very authentic ones that just melt in your mouth w/ awesomeness. Huge letdown Destino! Besides that, good place tho, probably wont go out of my way to come back though
Food: The Warm Brie was very delicious, esp if you're into good cheese, goes well with their bread, which was also very good btw.
King Crab/Artichoke dip was really yummy, creamy, yet slightly chunky and that too, goes well w/ their bread. I swear, their bread is super multi-purpose, very smart on their end! We had their classic sampler but the dip was the most memorable.
I ordered the Prime Rib, and wow, not only was it juicy and delicious, it was pretty huge. OK, I admit $33 is a lot for food, but every meal here is pricey since your at a classy place so I figure, why not go for it and get their best dish. Anywhoo, prime rib comes w/ mashed potatoes and onion strings and some sauce, they all complemented the steak pretty well.
I tried the baby back ribs, yea, they were pretty amazing as well. Definitely get those if you love ribs =) The sauce they use is heavy but really tasty.
Some of our party got salads, probably wasn't the best idea since they overdo the dressing, minus 1 star for that but from what I remember, the salad was still good.
Desserts: Everyone talks about the Creme Brulee, or aka Burnt Creme on the menu. Ok, I have to admit I'm usually not a fan of this stuff but wow, I ate most of that dish that I was "supposedly" sharing. Sugary hard top and creamy body, very nice =P
Didn't try the Rasberry Sorbet, but they give you a huge amount and it looked really tasty.
Almost forgot to mention the Passion Fruit Mohito, this thing is made very well with just the right balance, Highly Recommend! Not too much alcohol though so if you're looking to get drunk, this isn't the drink.
Service was excellent honestly. Our servers were really nice: 1 member of our party came extremely late, ordered Prime Rib just as I started eating mine and a couple of minutes later, she started eating hers! It tasted the same so they must make these babies constantly haha. Also, their shrimp scallop dish was on the spicy side so we asked if they could do something about it because it was inedible for our guest and they were really cool about it and made a completely new, customized shrimp dish that was just as good and non-spicy, love that.
I'll definitely come back here again, probably order something smaller though because the Prime Rib was too huge haha

Off the recommendation with the Fresh Baked turkey I went ahead and ordered it although it seemed to me one of the more pricer options. The lady who made it for me was very nice and although I'm not used to cranberry on my sandwiches, i took it anyways on the side. good thing I did because the sandwich wouldn't be nearly as good as everyone says it is.
They do give you a lot though, like as I'm writing this my stomach is full and I'm getting a little sleepppppppppppppppppppppp oops, anyways I'll check it out again but I think I'll look elsewhere first.

I ordered the more expensive item, hey- I'm all about trying the best they've got if people are recommending this place. It was the Katan-Ya Ramen btw, its like 12 bucks but they definitely pack it with a bunch of stuff - fried chicken, potstickers, pork, corn, plus the ramen and soup of course. I recommend this place, not for big groups since this place is so tiny but for a couple its great. Make sure to sign your name on the clipboard so you can cut ahead of a all the new people going up to the front trying to get seats

I've tried most of their ice cream already and I highly suggest doing the same. You can't really go wrong with any flavor. After hearing about how they make their Halo halo (not the ice cream, the actual mix of food, ice, milk, etc) I had to try it and yes, it was the best halo halo i've had in america. You still can't beat the fresh stuff in the Philippines (Boracay) but yea, pretty amazing.
Minus 1 star for location, parking and long line.

What to get:
BBQ Pork - slices of awesome
Garlic Noodles w/ the huge prawns - The noodles tasted amazing even by itself.
Don't get their fried ice cream unless you like it hard in the middle (giggity)
