Round Table Pizza

Round Table Pizza is one of the best delivery pizzas, because of its availability and consistency. Order a King Arthur's Supreme at one location, guaranteed it'll be similar elsewhere. This RTP happens to be nearby home.

I always get delivery. Drivers are friendly and usually on time--sometimes they arrive early! Pizza is usually pretty warm on arrival. I've had better Round Table Pizza pizza, however, and their phone call etiquette is somewhat lacking. That said, I don't remember them ever messing up an order.

Good enough for me!

Friendly people at a fairly convenient location with a large selection of coins, jewelry and precious metals. Nice website, too. These people are knowledgeable and patient; they took the time to sift through numerous bags and rolls to find specific coins (specific years) and never pressured me to make a decision. This shop is great.

Ajisai Japanese Grill & Sushi

I love Japanese food--it's the only kind of food I could eat for three meals every day, without feeling sick. Ajisai fills a gap for me, and I like its location. after driving by the place a few hundred times, we decided to get Japanese take out.

While the food isn't authentic, it's tasty. The fish is fresh, the prices are fair, and the portions are generous. What really makes this place great is the staff. My girlfriend and I stopped by around 9:30pm after she got off of work one night. Wayne and his staff made us feel instantly welcome, as if we were friends and restaurant regulars. I appreciate his honesty about the menu; Wayne was upfront about what was fresh, what was frozen, and that they use masago instead of tobiko (; flying fish roe), though they have wasabi tobiko (green colored).

Stephanie and I placed a to-go order, and received free edamame while we waited. Ajisai is open every day until 11pm... fantastic news, especially for holidays! Wayne mentioned that he's usually at the restaurant until midnight.

We've been back three times this week. We're greeted by name, sit down, order, have some edamame and something to drink. I like the unagi don, crispy spicy tuna roll, and beef yaki udon.

The service is fantastic and the price is right, the location is convenient and the hours are superb. I think of the food as Japanese comfort food, or Japanese style. This isn't the place that I'd go to if I felt like being super picky about authentic Japanese food (the owner and staff aren't Japanese either), but Ajisai has a nice patio, lunch specials and is open late every day. Awesome.

Bradtastic Approved.

Ta-Ke Sushi Japanese Restaurant

I live nearby, and I love the fact that this restaurant is within walking distance--but that's probably not that helpful for anyone else. As a Japanese restaurant, Ta-Ke is very average. The service is good, the food is mostly good. Unagi is frozen, however, and hit or miss. Mostly miss. If I'm willing to settle for frozen eel, I'll have it at home, thanks.

Portions are fairly large for the most part, and the prices are fair--standard. $3-5 for sushi, $8-18 for appetizers and combos.

This place prepares decent take-out, too. Again, the portions are good, and they accurately estimate wait times; generally, the food is ready exactly when they say it will be.

Ta-Ke Sushi has a homemade salad dressing that is pretty good. They sell it separately to take home, if you like it.

If this place delivered, I'd give it another star--maybe two. That's what is missing, I think. It's location makes it a frequent pick for me, but if it's cold, rainy, or too sunny out, I won't walk there... and if I'm going to drive, it's going to be to someplace else.

Somewhere between one and two stars. This place smells funky because it's ventilated poorly, and the arena itself seems like it's just about to fall apart. This place could have a decent arcade--they have the space for one--but they don't. Outdated and broken games. I still have hundreds of tokens I'm never going to use.

The price isn't an issue for me, but the service is. This place is setup to cater to inexperienced players, newcomers, and birthdays. From what I've seen, they don't even handle that that well. They used to give out printed scorecards. Now they charge more and don't.

The owners would rather appease people who go in there and play one or two games each year, instead of making it a nice hangout for "regulars," people willing to come in twice each week, dropping $70-100 per. That's maybe a few dozen people, yes, but a few dozen spending $75 per week, every week?

My advice: buy your own packs (about $150-300 each), get a universal remote and program it with the IR frequencies (to energize, start game) and play with your own friends wherever you want.

I was willing to support this business, but they don't seem to care.

There's really nothing to compare this show to -- unless you go to Vegas. Even then, Peter Morrison's show stands apart. Tickets are more than reasonably priced, there's a family night showing on Sundays, and the close-up pre-show alone is worth it.

If you arrive before showtime you can relax in a lounge area called the "Sultan's Oasis." By now, Peter Morrison would've personally greeted you, and he'll perform something special for your group while you get your drinks. Many of the specialty drinks are excellent.

The main show is a riot; one of the funniest and most entertaining evenings, good clean fun, and visually stunning to boot.
